Reincarnated as a Flower, Fine then I'll bloom my own way

Chapter 21: Chapter 21: Paradise Garden

Just a few days after our alliance, Aurthor sent some people to Paradise Garden to help with our development. But the first thing they did was…

They came to my church while I was sleeping, bowed down, and started to worship me. There were fifteen of them in total.

"...Guys...?" I said softly.

"Lady Sumi, it's a great pleasure to meet you," one of them spoke.

"I can't believe I'm speaking with a Goddess herself," another added.

"Guys, you don't need to—" I tried to say, but another interrupted.

"We are ready to follow any order you give us."

"Yes! We will do anything for you!"

I closed my eyes and gave a small smile. In my mind, I thought:

(I thought it would be hard to convince them to work for me, but it looks like I don't have to do anything.)

[Indeed, looks like you've become quite famous outside Paradise Garden too,] Aries spoke.

(Y-yeah, looks like it,) I replied, then spoke softly, "I appreciate you all coming this far to help me and my people. We will treat you respectfully as our guests."

Their eyes lit up with happiness.

"She's so cute!" one of them whispered.

"No, she's beautiful!" another said.

(...I feel awkward here...) I thought.

[You are a God to them, remember?] Aries said.

(I'm just a flower, though…)

"I wish you all the best of luck with your work," I said gently before vanishing.

---

I reappeared near the farms, where Beastman farmers and human farmers were working together. The humans were teaching the Beastmen how to grow fruits and vegetables more efficiently. As I walked closer, one of the human women saw me. Her eyes widened, and a big smile appeared on her face.

"Ladyyyyy Sumiiiiii!!!!" she screamed, dashing toward me.

She had short brown hair and dark eyes and wore the leather pants and white shirt I made for her. When she reached me, she dropped to her knees and bowed. The other farmers, seeing me, followed her and kneed down

(...Why do they keep doing this?) I asked in my mind.

[You are a God to them, remember?] Aries repeated.

(I'm just a flower, though…)I repeat too

"You don't have to bow," I said softly. "Rena, raise your head."

Rena lifted her head with a bright smile. The others stood up and resumed their work.

"Hey, hey, Lady Sumi! Today I taught them how to make magic-based bone meal!" Rena said excitedly.

"Oh… I see," I responded. (Is she trying to get praised?)

"Uhh… very good, Rena. You did a good j-job," I said, my voice soft and uncertain.

"Yayyy! Lady Sumi praised m—" she started, but a flying basket hit her head mid-sentence.

She fell forward with a groan. I turned to see a man walking toward us. He had short black hair, dark eyes, a sharp jawline, half pants, a t-shirt, and slippers I made for him.

"Why are you here instead of doing your work, Rena?" he asked.

Rena puffed her cheeks in frustration. "I was just talking to Lady Sumi!"

"Have you finished teaching them how to use the magic bone meal?" he asked.

"Well... that's…" Rena tried to say something

"Useless," the man muttered, then knelt on one knee and bowed. "Good morning, Lady Sumi. I'm surprised to see you this early today."

(Surprised? Is he saying I sleep too much?)

"You're doing well, Velour. You're a good leader and teacher," I said softly.

"I'm only doing my job. Beside If it weren't for you, our lives would have no meaning," he replied.

(Oh, right… These human farmers were once suspected of being murderers and criminals. They were just talented farmers framed by jealous rivals. Aurthor told me about them, and when I used True Appraisal, I confirmed they were innocent. I brought them here to start anew. And… apparently these two Rena and Velour are a couple. Lovely dovey birds.)

"If we keep it up, we'll have a bountiful harvest this season," I said.

A female Beastman approached. "Lady Sumi, we need rain to soften the soil for planting."

"I see. Don't worry." I replied

I raised my right hand. "Weather Control—Rain."

Dark clouds appeared above the farm, and soon rain fell—only on the farmland.

"Woahhh!" Rena gasped in amazement.

"Thank you very much, Lady Sumi," the Beastman said before returning to work.

Suddenly, a voice echoed in my mind.

(Lady Sumi, are you there?)

(Yes, Bokkon. What is it?) I replied

(He's here. At the church,) Bokkon said.

(I see. I'll be there soon.) I replied to Bokkon

I vanished from the farm and reappeared at the head of the huge training ground. The field was filled with young and adult Beastman practicing with humans under the guidance of Jekkob Daihart, the fifth general of the Stellar Royal Army and Aurthor's personal bodyguard. And as for Bokkon I decided to personally train him because I saw great potential in him. I also established a telepathic link between me, Bokkon, and Fareo—the mayor of Paradise Garden.

(Speaking of Fareo… where is he now?)

Across the training field, I spotted Fareo in a corner, drinking fruit alcohol with some Beastmen and humans.

"Wh- that old man!, That alcohol wasn't meant for that…!" I whispered to myself, frustrated.

Jekkob saw me and immediately knelt. The others saw me and followed him bye kneeing down. I gave a soft nod and vanished again.

---

I appeared inside the church and sat on the couch. Bokkon stood beside me, wearing a pitch-black coat and gloves, his red hair long and his blue eyes glowing faintly. A black Japanese sword aka a katana rested on his back.

(I decided to make it from my past life memories)

Across from us, seated in a chair, was a man.

"So… what brings you here, Gearor?" I asked softly.

Gearor placed a brown paper-wrapped package tied with a red ribbon on the table.

"There is a very important notice for you," he said.
