Chapter 141 Lily: Kael, you can't engrave patterns there! (10.8k, 9/68)_5
After coming down from the stage, Kael looked towards Luxius.
With a satisfied smile on his face, Luxius asked, "How does it feel?"
"It was really fantastic," Kael exclaimed.
"Do you understand now why I wanted you to come here today?"
Kael nodded and then directly posed his own question:
"Mr. Luxius, if one wishes to provide student instruction at the Mage Academy, what are the necessary conditions?"
"Actually, you don't need that, given your current natural advantage, right?"
Luxius tapped his magic wand lightly on the ground, and Lily said with a laugh:
"Mr. Luxius is right, the training of War Mage Apprentices has been lacking the most professional instructors.
Previously, it has always been the teachers sent by the academy who led the training. Now that you, Kael, are here to control the pace and direction of the training, it's also a good opportunity for you to become more involved as the main instructor."
After pondering for a moment, Kael said, "If that's the case, when I return to my Domain, I will take over some of the War Mage training courses."
Having said this, he suddenly felt a multitude of gazes upon him.
He instinctively looked in the direction from which the gazes came and noticed that in the lecture hall, many students and teachers who hadn't left were eagerly looking at him, hoping he would speak more about War Mages.
Clearly, today's class, a curriculum exchange between two kingdoms, had to some extent turned into a release conference on the path of becoming a War Mage.
The public demonstration was extremely effective, perhaps even too much so. Kael's effortless casting of various system spells and his own original spells was a kind of dimensional assault to most of the instructing mages.
At least in this class, many students realized that although Kael's content covered many areas they had not touched, it was surprisingly not incomprehensible to them.
Instead, the direct demonstration reduced their learning barrier to the various Magic Models of War Mages.
Or to say, just by coming to see the world today, they felt their time spent listening to the lectures was very worthwhile.
The spells they had also used came effortlessly to him, and he was undaunted by the spells they had only heard of but never seen other mages cast; he had even developed a batch of his own exclusive Magic Models...
And it seemed that the effects of these self-created spells were actually quite good, not the kind requiring a plethora of prerequisite conditions and knowledge accumulation to be quickly mastered – more valuable to the mid and lower rank mages in terms of widespread applicability.
What was more frightening was that when Kael demonstrated a series of spells on stage, they were astonished to find that some of the effects Kael achieved while casting spells were completely different from those of common mages.
After all, these were the future elite mages who had undergone formal training, and they immediately understood that Lord Kael, who had been making a splash in the academy, was not a professional mage.
Not a mage, yet surpassing mages?!
This perplexed them, could someone genuinely be this talented?
If before they felt it was impossible, now... the fact proved that the gap between people can be wider than that between people and dogs.
Not being a mage, what does that mean?
It means that even without the enhancement of a professional core, without the ability to stabilize the structure of a Magic Model, Kael still managed to leap over the issue of not being able to inscribe more Magic Models on a professional core and mastered so many spells smoothly. This could only mean one thing—
With his talent, even without a Magic Core to stabilize the casting framework, he could still harness the natural power of spells.
After all, a professional core only makes it easier to learn a spell and does not give someone without innate magical talent the gift of becoming a mage.
Obviously, even without the blessing of a Magic Core, he remains the most top-tier mage prodigy.
Not to mention, in this class, his kaleidoscopic array of spells and his casting proficiency, which doesn't seem like that of a young mage... such a scenario is very rare for a young mage.
Someone like Lily, immersed in a sea of knowledge and considered a prodigy, could understand even better just how strong Kael up there was.
She had always prided herself on her strong learning abilities, but now, facing Kael, she felt as if he was quickly catching up to her in every field.
She looked at Kael somewhat confused, feeling as if the already dazzling light within him had become even more splendid.
"Truly a genius, if I remember correctly, Lord Kael is only 17 this year."
"Speaking of which, what were we doing when we were 17? Weren't we just swinging a magic wand at ten-li patches of foxtail grass?"
"I can't comprehend, haven't you noticed that Lord Kael has already achieved the Extraordinary Rank?"

"I have, even his Mana Vortex has congealed. To be fair, I don't really want to delve into how all this came to be, as it would make me feel so foolish for having taken so long to successfully master the Mana Vortex!"
"Hey, who isn't? Among the mages present besides Mr. Luxius, have you ever heard how many have achieved anything close in their youth?"
