"Hmm… I guess these stats are reasonable enough." Frieren calmly reviewed her displayed status, quietly analyzing whether the numbers matched her understanding of herself. After a moment, she nodded. The stats aligned well with her own observations.
After all, even though she was a strong mage, there were many beings in her original world far stronger than she was, so this level of stats was acceptable for Frieren.
"Amazing, Frieren-san!" Rumia exclaimed, her eyes wide in awe as she compared Frieren's stats to her own. Even Shido's stats were slightly lower than Frieren's, which only deepened Rumia's admiration for her teacher.
"Mn, it's quite amazing, but…" Shido muttered as he looked over Frieren's stats, unable to hide his admiration for how high her INT was. It was only fair, he thought, since Frieren's magic was undoubtedly stronger than most beings in her world.
But when his eyes drifted down to where her measurements were listed, he paused, blinking as he felt the urge to look at Frieren to confirm if the numbers were accurate, but-
"Did you just think something rude about me, Shido?" Frieren asked flatly, her emerald eyes calmly locking onto him. She could tell immediately that he had been staring at her measurements. Although she didn't particularly mind that he knew, it still made her feel a bit embarrassed.
"N-No, not at all. Ahahaha…" Shido laughed awkwardly, scratching his cheek as he quickly diverted his gaze elsewhere, trying to change the topic before Frieren's stare could bore a hole through him.
Frieren rolled her eyes at Shido, finding him a bit shameless, before her gaze shifted to Rumia, who was smiling brightly beside her, blissfully unaware of what the two had just been talking about. Frieren's eyes couldn't help but lower toward Rumia's chest, taking note of how well-developed she was despite only being fifteen years old. A deep sigh escaped Frieren's lips as she thought that the world was truly unfair.
"…It's not really that high," Frieren finally replied flatly, referring to her stats. "I'm sure there are beings in this world much stronger than I am."
She paused for a moment before her emerald eyes shifted back to Shido, calm yet filled with quiet certainty.
"But I'm sure that this guy will stand at the peak of this world one day, overlooking all living things beneath him."
"Right? Shido-san is strong!" Rumia beamed, her eyes sparkling with pride. It was as if she herself was being praised whenever someone complimented Shido.
Frieren was a little speechless at how happy Rumia looked, but a small smile tugged at her lips. Rumia reminded her of Fern, though a bit more cheerful and expressive than her former disciple.
Still, Frieren's thoughts returned to her own words. She truly believed that Shido would one day stand above everyone else, perhaps even becoming a god with the help of his system. From the brief time she had spent with him, Frieren knew that Shido's system was nothing short of a cheating tool, containing knowledge and functions that spanned all things, regardless of what world they came from.
"Alright, break's over. Let's continue your training, Rumia." In the end, Frieren decided not to think too deeply about Shido's potential for now, choosing instead to focus on helping Rumia grow stronger in magic.
"Yes, Frieren-san."
"This time, I'll teach you how to strengthen your defensive spells so you can protect yourself better during a fight."
"Yes!"
As master and apprentice resumed their training, Shido also decided it was time to train himself, but in a different way. After returning to the house, he rested for a short while before teleporting himself to the northern part of the Great Forest of Tob.
...
"Hell Flare."
"Multiply."
BOOOOOMMMM!
Enormous explosions erupted one after another, shaking the Great Forest of Tob as pillars of flame and shockwaves tore through the trees. The monsters caught in the blast were instantly incinerated, leaving not even a speck of ash behind, only charred, smoking craters where they once stood.
Yet despite the devastation, many monsters, trolls, ogres, kobolds, giant bears, and others, managed to survive, fleeing in desperation as they tried to escape with their lives.
But how could Shido possibly allow those free SP and SF to get away?
"Gravity, 10x."
Shido activated his gravity manipulation, and instantly, the monsters felt as if the air itself had turned into crushing iron. Their bodies grew impossibly heavy, pressing them to the ground under the overwhelming pressure. They roared in desperation, trying to struggle, but it was useless. The gravity around them pinned them down, leaving them helpless.
In swift, efficient movements, Shido advanced, his Elucidator flashing as he cut down the immobilized monsters one by one.
Thud!
The last monster fell to the ground, its body hitting the earth.
Ding!

A series of notifications echoed in Shido's mind as the system interface appeared before him, displaying the points he had earned.
Seeing the numbers, Shido thought to himself that this place was truly a paradise for grinding levels and farming points.
There weren't too many monsters in this part of the forest, but they still numbered in the thousands, with many in the level 20s and some even reaching the level 30s, making their strength comparable to adamantite-ranked adventurers. But for Shido, fighting these monsters was nothing more than an easy warm-up.
Ding!
Just as Shido was feeling satisfied with the points he had earned, another system notification rang out. Glancing at the notice, he saw that he had completed Quest 3 which is to kill 10,000 monsters.
However, when he checked the rewards, he couldn't help but drop his jaw. This was the first time he had ever received rewards like these.
