Reincarnated Debugger: The God-Tier Programmer in a Fantasy World

Chapter 23: Chapter 23: Dungeon

Kaito sat on his throne in the audience room, with Nova floating beside him. The room was grand, befitting the ruler of NeoNexus. Before him stood a beautiful elf who appeared to be in her twenties, but being an elf, she was undoubtedly much older. She was the Guildmaster of the Adventurers' Guild, and her presence meant that something important was at hand.

Kaito leaned forward, his gaze sharp. "What brings you here?" he asked, his tone calm but commanding.

The Guildmaster bowed respectfully. "I have a request from the Adventurers' Guild. We would like permission to establish a guild branch here in NeoNexus."

Kaito thought for a moment before nodding. "Granted. It would be beneficial for adventurers to have a base here."

With that settled, another thought crossed his mind. If the guild was going to be here, he should take on some quests to raise his adventurer rank. But then, a better idea struck him—why not create a dungeon himself?

He turned back to the Guildmaster. "Are there any dungeons around here?"

The Guildmaster shook her head. "Dungeons are extremely rare. There are only three in Dravenheim, but the guild has no authority over them."

Kaito smirked. "I see. I'll look into it later."

Once the meeting ended, he returned to his alternate dimension, where he commanded his construction robots to begin designing the dungeon layout. However, he quickly realized that he needed a way to summon monsters and generate rewards within the dungeon. To understand how dungeons functioned, he decided to visit Dravenheim and investigate its dungeons firsthand.

Flying through the skies undetected, Kaito reached one of the dungeons in Dravenheim. He concealed his presence and entered, carefully analyzing its structure and mechanisms. The dungeon's energy intrigued him, and he studied how monsters were spawned and treasures were formed.

As he ventured deeper, he heard voices. Curious, he followed the sound and soon found a group of unconscious children surrounded by men who appeared to be slave traders. Hidden in the shadows, Kaito listened to their conversation. They spoke about selling the children and how they were backed by Dravenheim's royal family and nobles. One of them even sneered, boasting that no one would dare oppose them.

Kaito stepped forward, his presence suddenly overwhelming. Before the slavers could react, he cast a paralysis spell, freezing them in place. He quickly checked on the children, ensuring they were unharmed. Then, he turned his icy gaze to the slavers.

"Who do you work for?" he demanded.

The slavers trembled but still attempted to threaten him. "If anything happens to us, you'll suffer the wrath of the kingdom."

Kaito smirked. "Is that so?" Without another word, he knocked them unconscious. He then teleported the rescued children far away from Dravenheim, ensuring their safety.

With that issue handled, he resumed his analysis of the dungeon. As he continued his research, he encountered something unexpected—a spirit, floating near the dungeon's core. She radiated a mystical aura, and it was clear that she was the one managing the dungeon.

Kaito approached her. "Are you the one controlling this dungeon?"

The spirit nodded. "I am a Dungeon Spirit. My purpose is to maintain the balance of the dungeon and manage its functions."

An idea formed in Kaito's mind. "Would you be willing to come with me and manage my dungeon in NeoNexus?"

The spirit hesitated. "If I leave, the dungeons in Dravenheim will collapse."

Kaito shrugged. "That's not my concern."

After some persuasion, the spirit finally agreed. Kaito took her with him and returned to his alternate dimension, where the dungeon construction was nearly complete. He asked the Dungeon Spirit to inspect the layout. She examined everything carefully before forming special dungeon cores that would generate monsters and distribute rewards.

Kaito took a step further, reprogramming the dungeon cores to match his preferences. He structured it so that every tenth floor had a powerful boss room, while every fifth floor contained a mini-boss. Watching him manipulate the dungeon core so easily, the spirit was in awe.

"It's unbelievable," she murmured. "A human being able to manipulate a dungeon's core like this... It defies all logic."

Kaito simply smirked. "I'm not just any human."

With everything set, Kaito's new dungeon in NeoNexus was officially complete. Now, it was time to see how the adventurers would handle it.
