( Yuuki's POV )

Blaidd was not exactly a man, he was half wolf, he had a human figure with the head of a wolf and all the loyalty.

Blaidd: It's an interesting group you're running with, are they ready for this?

Yuuki: They can take care of themselves, and no one is going to fight alone.

Blaidd: You're right about that, I wish you luck out there, things won't move forward if we don't emerge victorious.

Yuuki: The same goes for you.

There were a lot of fighters in this place, and we weren't even the strangest ones, a giant walking jar was among the festival participants.

When everyone present had finished their preparations, we were transported to the battlefield, a vast dead land, where Radahn was waiting, I must admit that was an oddly quiet start to a fighting festival, but soon the silence was replaced by the battle cries of the participating warriors, and the general finally began to move.

General Radahn was a giant of a man in every sense of the word, who somehow rode a comically thin and small horse, he was on a small hill overlooking the warriors running towards him, and the first move he made was to take his bow and prepare a powerful arrow covered with a magical aura.

On our side, Shera did the same, with the bow I created for her, she could create an arrow completely from glintstone energy combined with lightning magic, the two powerful attacks flew, and when they collided with each other, a shock wave was created that pushed the nearest warriors back.

After the first attack a bald man who was nowhere near the battle turned around and ran away, I guess it's smart to recognize when an opponent outclasses you, we on the other side ran forward, Shera summoned her thunderbird and she and Claire jumped on top of her to give air support, with some gravity boots I had made for them, the bird, her name was Blitz, could use dangerous maneuvers and the girls would never fall.

Rhym, Erica, and Liliana rode Torrent to get closer while Astraea, Lisanna, and I flew straight toward him, Lisanna was in her harpy form and I was in my Dragonewt form, as we approached he raised the giant swords that were at his side and he showed his prowess in gravity magic by rising and throwing some huge boulders at us, Mythra and Pheliss gave me some replicas of their blade forms, the power was the same as the originals but these break after some use, and with my black spear I created some crystals that I launched like missiles, the rocks were easily blown up and the nearest warriors jumped at the opportunity to attack but the general started swinging his swords wildly and the warriors started losing rapidly, no wonder they needed a festival of fighting to put this guy down.

Astraea and I took a swing at the guy and although he was able to use his swords to block us he left himself completely open for attacks from the others, Shera and Claire fired their biggest attacks at him and Astraea and I retreated only at the last moment so Radahn ate those attacks completely, then the rest of the girls started their attack, Erica and Liliana relied heavily on their speed and a direct hit would be very bad for them that's why every time Radahn tried to take a swing at them, Rhym and I would get in the middle and absorb the hits.

With all the punishment we were giving him, Radahn's anger was quick to peak, he gathered a huge amount of energy in his swords and hit the ground to create a gravity dome that pushed us back, Erica and Liliana were somewhat more affected by the attack so I caught them and immediately healed them, while I was busy with that Radahn jumped into the air very high, so high that we lost sight of him and the confused girls gathered where I was.

Shera: What happened? Did he run away?

Yuuki: If you have to ask that, then the answer is most likely no.

As if I had called him, after speaking, we could see Radahn descending from the sky at great speed and wrapped in flames as if he were a meteorite, the girls were visibly confused by what was happening, but I walked past them with confidence.

With the Radahn meteorite on its inevitable path, I took a deep breath and attempted something I hadn't done in a while, a complete transformation.

I released my power and although I felt that the process was somewhat slower it was still working, a huge sphere of fire covered me completely and then I emerged throwing a fist towards Radahn, I stopped the impact of the attack in its tracks and while the general was suspended in the air I gave him a tail whip, he was dragged along the ground and I began to charge my next attack, when I gave Astraea and Rhym the task of searching for spell scrolls they found a powerful spell called Comet Azur, that created a continuous torrent of energy that resembled a comet, I charged two giant attacks in my claws and shot at the place where Radahn had fallen, I didn't stop shooting for a few minutes and then multiplied the power of my attacks creating a torrent five times larger.

When I finished I was pulled out of my transformation and momentarily unable to move, but Rhym was there to catch me, then a great rune appeared in my hand confirming that the general was no more, we approached the place of impact and the only thing left of him were his enormous swords that of course I took as a trophy for our victory.

With that, we got ready to leave but before that, we looked up at the sky and saw a real meteorite flying over us and crashing on the horizon, I highly doubt it's a coincidence that this happened exactly after we defeated the shardbearer, this must be related to Ranni's plan, I wanted to hear what she had to say but there were others who needed my attention, specifically, it was time for me to pay Little Red Riding Hood a visit at the Roundtable Hold and there's no one better to tell me how to get there than Melina.
