( Arata's POV )

After the incredible revelation that I had fiancées, who I had supposedly met before but had no memory of them, I was full of questions but Rei said she couldn't go into details and said again everyone involved had to be present, and I don't think she was going to budge on that.

There were a couple of days left, and I thought I would spend that time with Sun but her mother said that we couldn't see each other anymore for the moment, she was very clear about that, but obviously I couldn't think of anything else but her in those days.

On the contrary, my mother talked a lot with Sun's mother, but not about things that had to do with the arranged marriage, she asked her questions about mermaids and other supernatural creatures, and that's how our family trip ended, I knew it wasn't the last time I would see Sun but at least I would like to say goodbye.

Sakura: Finally back home, this trip felt longer than it was.

Arata: Considering what we learned, that's understandable.

Sakura: That reminds me, I need to run through my collection in more detail, who knows what I may have missed.

Arat: just be careful, in case that's true.

After discovering the supernatural I was more interested in my mother's collection but before I could tell her I wanted to help, I received a call and when I took out my phone I saw that the person who was talking to me was my childhood friend Miyazaki Chisaki.

Arata: Hey Chisaki, it's been a while, is everything okay?

Chisaki: [That's my question, you haven't call and you haven't responded to my messages in days, I thought something bad had happened.]

Arata: Oh I'm sorry, something did happen but it was nothing bad, I was just very busy these days.

Chisaki: [As long as nothing bad happened I guess it's okay, hey is this a bad time? Can I come to your house, there something I want to ask you?]

Arata: No problem, I'll see you in a bit.

Chisaki: [Thanks, see you later.]

After hanging up I entered the house but before I crossed the door I felt a presence behind me, I quickly turned around but there was no one in sight, I knew this wasn't my imagination but when a few minutes of looking around yielded no results I went into the house.

A few minutes after the call there was a knock on the door and when I opened it I saw my friend Chisaki wearing a white and pink dress, Chisaki had short orange hair and blue eyes, Objectively speaking she was a cute girl.

Arata: Hello Chisaki, please come in.

Chisaki: Thank you.

I prepared some snacks and we sat in the living room, Chisaki was very shy around other guys our age but since we had known each other for a long time that wasn't a problem with me.

Arata: so, what is it you wanted to ask?

Chisaki: Well, you think there's something about ghosts in your mother's collection.

Arata: Ghosts, why do you ask that, did something happened?

Chisaki: No, nothing like that, I'm just curious.

When Chisaki answered nervously I knew she was hiding something and after everything I had found out I had to take this seriously.

Arata: I'm sure she must have something, let's look together.

My mother is already going through her collection and after she greeted Chisaki, We started looking for anything related to ghosts, poltergeists and that kind of thing and when we found an old book and some stamps she asked to borrow them, My mother loved Chisaki very much and she accepted.

Then she said she would call me later and left the house but I didn't let her go alone, and as we walked through the city she was unusually quiet.

Chisaki: You didn't have to accompany me, you know, it's a short trip.

Arata: It seems that you need help, so I'm going to help you.

Chisaki: I thought that you didn't like these supernatural things.

Well that changed a few days ago, but if I say that she's only going to have more questions.

Arata: I think you're a little more important than that.

When I said that Chisaki blushed a little and she didn't speak the rest of the way, although that wasn't very long, her house was now just around the corner.

Chisaki's mother was very similar to her, the same blue eyes and orange hair but hers was longer and she was more mature in all the right places, she had assets that make many women jealous.

The truth is that when I started to be interested in the opposite sex, I had a crush on her and I still got a little nervous when I saw her.

I guess no one could blame me for feeling that way but Chisaki wasn't happy about it, that's why I hadn't come to her house in a long time, she frowned and pulled me into her room.

Chisaki: We are busy, Mom, please don't interrupt us.

Chisaki's room was as I remembered although there were some new stuffed animals, When we sat down she looked at me a little angry so I tried to keep us on the main topic.

Arata: uhm Now you can tell me more about your problem, I know this is not just out of curiosity.

She glare at me for a few more seconds and then she let out a sigh.

Chisaki: The truth is, since you went on that trip, strange things have been happening.

Arata: Strange things like?

Chisaki: First my stuffed animals were appearing in different places as if they were moving on their own, at first I thought I was being paranoid but things only got worse.
