Reincarnated With A Glitched System: Why Is My MP Not Running Out?

Chapter 1586: The Deep Sea Treasure

-----

After one of the best feasts of their lives, and a lot of banter, the group of friends were ready to depart, quickly setting off into the rest of the dungeon. After all, they had only explored the first area of the second Floor, and Aquarina wanted to grind for more EXP if possible.

They walked back to the corridor where they came from after she stored everything she wanted, and then moved on through the long corridor, finding a couple of new rooms there, the rooms themselves had little ruined statues and paintings, which were quite majestic, but that were nothing really valuable for them to take.

"This place sure looks ruined, there hasn't been any monster on sight at all!" Silvia complained. "I guess that huge pool of lobsters was all there it was to this place."

"The Lobster Queen was the Boss too, so I suppose we won't find anything too impressive aside from her," Aquarina said.

"Yeah, should we get going?" Justicio asked. "It's getting late, it's better if we get back home before dinner. Though, judging by how much we ate, I doubt anybody wants to eat anymore."

"Yeaaah, but we're about to reach the end so just wait a bit!" Said Silvia. "Look! Finally, the end of the corridor! Aaand there's no stairs, yep."

Silvia ran there, looking around recklessly as always, and indeed, there wasn't a trap this time or something, there wasn't a staircase either.

"It's empty I suppose, the Dungeon is indeed still "under construction" I guess?" wondered Aquarina. "Kind of makes me wonder how this works. Do Dungeons grow naturally like plants and take some time to get made or does the God just make them personally?"

"I doubt he would put the time and effort to do anything personally…" Said Justicio. "Right? It's probably automatic, some kind of natural thing of this world I guess, there's no point in putting it too much thought. I mean, it's happening everywhere."

"Yeap…" Silvia nodded.

"Hmm, I bet Sylphy would love to talk about this for hours…" Aquarina said. "Anyways, I guess we should get going then, nothing else for us to do here except… Hm?"

Her eyes squinted, noticing something, an area of the walls to the left was strangely discolored, and she could feel some sort of wind… coming from it.

"Oho?"

She walked there immediately, making Agua notice what Aquarian felt.

"Ah! Did you feel it too, lady heroine?" Agua wondered.

"Just call me Aquarina!" Aquarina said. "And yeah, come and see you guys! There's definitely something suspicious in here."

Silvia and Justicio looked at one another, and then quickly followed Aquarina, the group quickly glanced at her touching the walls, slowly caressing them.

And then tapping into them, and ultimately knocking gently.

"Oh yeah, I hear something weird here… This wall is quite soft, is it still being developed?" Wondered Aquarina. "So this is how Dungeon Walls are made, huh? A much weaker one is made and then it hardens over time until they become near indestructible… Alright!"

Aquarina smiled, quickly infusing a tiny bit of Mana into her legs and…

BAAAM!

She kicked the wall with immense force, her foot instantly breaking through the wall, as countless bricks fell from the air.

"Woah! W-What the hell?!" Silvia gasped.

"There was some kind of hole in here?" Justicio asked.

"Yeah!" Aquarina nodded with a smile full of wanderlust. "Look!"

She pointed into the hole made in the wall, which led to a long corridor! It wasn't underground though but this corridor wasn't illuminated, and it resembled the entrance of a cave, it was quite dark.

"I-Isn't it too dark in there?!" Silvia asked. "Kind of scary that there aren't even crystals or mushrooms to illuminate the place."

"Come on, are you actually scared?" Justicio teased her. "Let's go, Aquarina's on the front so we'll be safe either way, right Agua?"

"Yes! I have complete faith in the heroine's might," Agua nodded with a gentle smile. "Silvia let's go. Don't be afraid."

"I-I'm not afraid or something!" Silvia complained, growing redder and pouting a bit, feeling embarrassed she was worried when her friends were just eager to step into the danger.

And quite honestly, most normal people would be afraid, yes, but these were superpowered teens with magical powers and superhuman strength, so they could give themselves some leniency and just enjoy the adventure, despite the potential dangers.

Led by Aquarina, they walked into the cave without wasting any more time, with a simple spell, Silvia illuminated the area with the help of Khepri's magic.

She created a little sphere of light, enough to illuminate the entire area around them quite well.

With this, they moved forward rather nicely and without issues, finding themselves in a much longer cave than they thought.

"Look, there's something over there? Light?" Aquarina wondered.

"Where- Ah!" Silvia noticed a blue light in the distance.

As they approached, they found out it was coming from a large, abandoned room within these underground ruins. Once they reached it, they noticed it was a large hall, with destroyed pillars and what resembled a destroyed throne.

There were many paintings of these sea slug-like people who had beautiful, jeweled shells, they seemed to gather around the walls, surrounding what resembled a rainbow conch.

There were words engraved over the walls, from an ancient language which they couldn't quite understand, but they resembled runes, magic runes.

"Weird, were their language magic runes?" wondered Silvia.

"Hmm…" Aquarina squinted her eyes, reading them. "Oh wait, I think if we read them as magic runes we could read what it says…"

"Really?" Justicio wondered.

"I'm good at reading runes…" said Agua. "Let me read for you, heroine."

"Sure," Aquarina nodded.

Agua cleared her throat, quickly beginning to read out loud.

"The Deep-Sea People's Last Treasure, the Crystallization of all Magic remains down here. Taken care by… The Three Magic Kings, whoever finds it will obtain the power to go against… the Gods?"

"Huh?!"

The entire group was surprised.

"D-Does it really say that?!" Asked Silvia.

"Y-Yes…" Agua nodded.

"Hmm… There's a conch around here?" Aquarina wondered.

They looked all over the hall, but there was nothing.

"Nope…"

It was strange, as if something was missing.

Or was taken away long ago.
