Reincarnated With A Glitched System: Why Is My MP Not Running Out?

Chapter 1587: Leaving The Ruins

-----

The whole group was full of questions as they left the abandoned ruins, although they came to the conclusion that the Dungeon was most likely predating the ruins themselves, "eating them away" while using their materials, or perhaps leftover mana, to build itself up, and hence why the dungeon felt so much "under construction", they didn't found a single treasure chest aside from the ones from before, so it was a bit disappointing, but the battles more than made up for it, as the monsters they hunted provided with incredibly premium materials.

The tridents of the living statue golems were made of a mixture between Orichalcum and Mithril, so they were already very strong weapons on their own. Aquarina decided to keep one of these huge tridents as her weapon, as she recalled various of her techniques manifesting as tridents. The weapon type simply had a great affinity with the water element, and Aquarina wanted to become someone adapted to any type of battle, so using various weapons she wasn't used to was also going to be part of her training.

"Well, that was kind of fun at the end!" Silvia said, walking upstairs with her friends. "Yeah maybe we didn't find that much treasure, but aren't the monster materials we secured pretty big for treasures? We got hundreds of those giant lobsters secured! Their shells are super hard magic metal, right? And they were covered on spirit stones of various elements! Also their Mana Cores were huge! Don't feel disheartened, Justicio."

"Yeah, I suppose it was quite a good treasure hunt at the end, and we grew stronger out of that, I do feel much tougher after I've healed and eaten," Justicio said. "I guess it's really true that our Physiques develop the more we fight very hard battles, and the more we are wounded and then heal back, it toughens the body over time."

"Yep, also the more Mana and Magic you use, the more your Runes expand and grow," explained Aquarina. "Although it is much slower if you don't have something like a Divine Blessing, or special Talent, or a System Seed from Sylphy."

"That System thing from your girlfriend is really a big cheat…" Silvia said.

"Yeah it doesn't count…" Justicio nodded.

"What's a System Seed?" Agua wondered.

"Ah, it's… Uh, well, some kind of magic power," Aquarina explained. "Once you take it, it is placed inside your Soul, and it helps you grow stronger, learn more magic and techniques, and stuff like that by hunting monsters and earning Experience Points based on how strong they are! So you gather a lot and then Level Up, and your power increases!"

"Wait, really? Just hunting monsters alone does it? That's so braindead easy!" Silvia complained. "I want one too! How much do I have to pay for one?!"

"I don't know if Sylphy would agree, she doesn't give them away that easily, only to her closest friends…" Said Aquarina. "For example she has a lot of allies and people she cares about back in Agartha, but she never shared them, only to her friends. I think she once told me she tried giving some to her parents, but she said their Souls were too powerful and had no place for a System Seed, so if you grow too strong you can't have one. It's better to receive it while you're weak or still developing."

"Huh, a-are we too strong already?" Silvia wondered.

"Maybe… not? I don't know what the criteria is," Justicio said.

"Ah, right, her little brother, Zephy, he was born with amazing talent, and she said his soul was very powerful and it held a lot of sealed Mana, so he was unable to get it either," explained Aquarina. "I don't know about you guys… or Agua. But if we ever met with Sylphy together, I'll try my best to convince her to give you some seeds!"

"Ah, sure, I guess… I wasn't saying I wanted some…" Silvia got a bit embarrassed Aquarina would go so far for her.

"It's alright Aquarina, you don't need to go that far," Justicio smiled. "Anyways, those lobsters will provide a lot of resources. Especially the Queen! Just how many high-quality materials does that thing have?"

"The lobsters… seriously, they are just treasure troves," said Pyuku. "I don't think we've ever fought more valuable monsters before, right? At least that aren't Orichalcum Golems."

"What about the Orichalcum Phoenixes from the Desert of Cloudia?" Aquarina asked.

"Ah right those things were super strong too… Didn't they have a member at Tier 10?" Pyuku wondered.

"Yeah, only our parents could take care of that one," Aquarina nodded. "Oh, well, we did fight two False Gods! One with our parents, and the other just with Sylphy and me! It could be said their materials were super mega valuable too, right?"

"They were mostly composed of divine energy and mana though," said Pyuku. "But they did leave behind some large cores. Sylphy… I think she began working using them right? Although she hadn't made anything yet when we departed."

"I bet she'll ask her new Alchemist Master to help her out at one point," Aquarina nodded. "Can't wait to see my cute Sylphy again, thinking about her makes me really excited!"

"Pervert…" Silvia muttered.

"Calm down, Aquarina…" Justicio sighed.

"I-I didn't mean it that way, you dumbasses!" Aquarina grew redder, as she realized they complexly misunderstood what she said. "Tch! Well, whatever, once we get back home we'll have to divide the treasures we got. The other monsters we hunted; do they have some valuable materials on them?"

"What did we fight before? Ah! Right, the Mollusk Chimera, the little Conch Mollusks, then… Um, punching shrimps?" wondered Silvia.

"The statues… their material wasn't that good, it was just magically infused stone," said Aquarina. "But I suppose they could be made to build houses that can resist magic attacks… their tridents were valuable though; I'm keeping one as a weapon for myself. Who wants the other?"

"Me!" Silvia said.

"No! Me!" Justicio screamed.

"Hey, I asked for it first!" Silvia said angrily. "And you got the helmet already! Don't be greedy!"

"T-The helmet's cool but I want a trident too!" Justicio complained back.

As they discussed and Aquarina laughed, Agua smiled lightly as she saw them banter together.

But she felt sadder the more they walked back to the surface.
