Reincarnation of the Strongest Healer

Chapter 416: Vanguard Shop

Although Xu Feng had already anticipated the Reaver Guild would attempt to dabble on their livestream progress, he didn't expect them to have such guts and confidence to arrive so early.

Currently, around 60-70 percent of the people had arrived and were slowly conversing with the others who were participating in the raid.

Not only could they attempt to be friendly, but it was also their chance to understand the situation in other areas.

In theory, the affiliations from the Reaver Guild should have arrived near the end.

That way, they would escape Xu Feng's secret intervention to make things difficult for them. Yet they had not done anything of the sort.

'Are they challenging my authority or are they betting on the fact that I won't dare to do anything to them with many eyes watching us?' Xu Feng knitted his brows, unsure of the opponent's motive.

No matter their motive, Xu Feng was ready for any foul play that was to come. He didn't rise to the top of the management level without any skills unlike the many who relied heavily on their connections to be in that position.

Just as Xu Feng was about to thank her for the information, Autumn Breeze sent another message, asking for an old meet-up with his previous raid mates.

Speechless, Xu Feng had to give it up to Zhao Xin in her shrewdness.

Since he had only participated in one raid which was quite well-known by now, refusing to meet up with her was indirectly saying he wouldn't care about connections or friendships made in the past.

'It's a good thing she doesn't know I'm actually Xu Feng. Otherwise, I might become the fat sheep in the end with how poisonous her words were.' Xu Feng twitched his brows.

Others unaware of the meaning would simply shrug it off, but those who understood the implication would feel a cold chill running down their spines.

Of course, Xu Feng wasn't worried or afraid, merely finding it troublesome to make an enemy out of her for no reason.

'Well, I guessed it's time to start prepping things,' Xu Feng smirked and messaged OneManMedia, asking if he got the livestream setup.

Naturally, as the Guild Leader, there was no way he would be the commentator and the person responsible for livestreaming.

Who else was suitable for the job other than OneManMedia.

Sometime later, he arrived at the Vanguard Shop, another business of Xu Feng which had the blacksmith producing items and being sold here.

In addition, thanks to the new increase of fame, there were many other sellers who had come here to sell their items with him taking a small fee in the transaction.

Glancing at the players frantically trying to get their hands on the items in the display glass, Xu Feng realized he needed to give Tracy a raise.

'I can not let her escape my grasp.' He thought to himself, ignoring the players, and went upstairs.

Since the shop was a 1-star building, there were only three floors available.

The first and second floor were used to sell items whereas the third floor was a restricted place. Since there was going to be a large-scale raid, then there must be room to fit at least 100 players in one place to discuss.

Of course, there really wasn't a need for all 100 players to gather, only the leader of their respective group would be allowed here to discuss.

As Xu Feng arrived at the third floor, a uniformed female employee rushed toward him.

"Good evening, boss." The female employee greeted him. "I'm Monica and Manager Tracy placed me in charge of this shop. Do you want me to bring you the transaction accounts for the month?"

Monica's enthusiasm and brightness were truly quite a shocker for Xu Feng, who didn't expect someone to rush toward him all of a sudden.

"Monica, right?" He commented. "There's no need for the accounts yet. I'm going to meet with one of the guild members and there will be guests soon. So keep that in mind and ensure everything is organized, okay?"

"Understood, Boss!" Knowing there would be guests, Monica quickly excused herself, most likely to prepare for something.
Experience tales at empire

Smiling at the employees he was hiring, Xu Feng truly wondered how and where Tracy found these people. They were all talented and efficient in their work, with the exception of their hiring price.

Most of the time, guilds who owned buildings would use their own members to handle the business mainly because it was cheap. After all, NPCs' wages could easily put a dent in one's guild's financial state.

Unfortunately, Xu Feng simply lacked the necessary manpower, especially when he could barely trust anyone within his guild.

'Ugh, I would have searched for the top-tier experts and recruited them, but doing so is just not worth the time and effort.' Xu Feng plopped to a chair and sighed inwardly.

Those who loved to fantasize about his current state would most likely think why don't he just gather all the top talents that he knew or heard of, but such a thing was easier said than done.

One simply needed to take a step back and wondered if you suddenly met a stranger from out of nowhere, saying they trust you and wish to hire you. 9 out of 10 times, the answer to the stranger would be a flat no.

And even if there was 1 foolish person who believed the stranger, who was to say that they would guarantee results.

This was a far-fetched theory, but with the encounter of numerous butterfly effects, Xu Feng could no longer fully trust the information from his past timeline.

Just like how he took the chance of one player with the login exploit, that said player might just be another average Joe now that his chance was stolen by him.

Amidst his pondering over the lack of manpower, the door outside was knocked, followed by a voice.

"Guild Leader, it's me OneManMedia." Wei Xing, otherwise known as OneManMedia in the Divine World, asked cautiously.
