Reincarnation of the Strongest Healer

Chapter 457: Same Treatment

Emberwolf died at his final death, and having reached his revival limit, he was now forced to be a ghost-like form throughout the raid.

His corpse also grayed out from the scene, indicating that a revival was not possible.

The good thing about this was that Emberwolf could now spectate everyone else, but other than that, there was nothing he could do. Aside from the logging out option, all other system interface features were disabled.

"What a Sky Hunter Adventure Team. Their methods were truly ruthless and a sight to behold." Spirit Fang commented upon seeing Emberwolf's plight.

From start to finish, this person had been played like a fiddle by Xu Feng.

However, that wasn't the scariest part.

It was how Xu Feng managed to accomplish all of this with relative ease. There was not a moment where Xu Feng had panicked or made any actual move.

Of course, Spirit Fang also knew he was in a similar plight like Emberwolf, albeit way better in terms of actual treatment.

"I will remember this grudge…" Emberwolf clenched his fist and declared.

"No shot you're still trying to mess with him, are you?" Astounded, Spirit Fang had his eyes widened in disbelief.

"I'm not talking about Guild Leader Lin Feng." Emberwolf rebuked. "Sure, he was ruthless and extremely cruel to me, but that was because I messed with him first."

"At least you're not that stupid." Nodding in agreement, Spirit Fang also regretted coming to this city as an affiliation of the Reaver Guild.

Others were able to get their hands on the amazing Elemental Warrior Set and many discounts.

Yet they were not only incapable of getting a Set but were also extortably charged whenever they used a facility owned by the Vanguard guild.

"I'm going to make it my objective to ruin the damnable Reaver Guild." Emberwolf gnashed his teeth so hard— to the point that it appeared as if he was about to explode from anger.

The Sky Hunter Adventure Team didn't even know who the Vanguard guild were nor did they have any conflict of interest. However, thanks to their retarded Team Leader, followed by numerous misinformations, the Sky Hunter Adventure Team became one of the Vanguard guild's blacklist.

Who wouldn't be furious when you got hit with collateral damage despite being completely innocent in the first place?

Amidst Emberwolf's rage directed at the correct person, his subordinate, on the other hand, wasn't so lucky either.

"Wait, there's no need to torment me, right?" Hunter Rick raised his hands when he noticed Flint approaching him.

"I'm just a small fry and following orders. I have no choice but to oblige, but you saw how I killed my boss, right?" He continued, seemingly trying to get away from the torturing scene.

"Indeed, a small fry isn't worth the effort, but I did promise Mister Emberwolf that everyone would receive the same treatment. So apologies, but if you want to blame, then blame your boss— or maybe I should refer to him as your former boss now." Xu Feng yawned and gestured his finger, signaling for Flint to continue.

Shortly after, a painful cry echoed throughout the environment, with Hunter Rick receiving a similar treatment as Emberwolf.

The only good part?

He didn't get interrogated and had his mind broken hard like Emberwolf did, given he was a worthless person with little to zero information.

And this same treatment would continue on to another person until it finally reached Spirit Fang's turn.

Upon his revival, Spirit Fang was so nerve-wracking that he didn't even know what to say. Those who had tried to argue or give explanations all ended up in the same situation.

So what was the point of resisting?

With his eyes shut tightly, Spirit Fang waited for the inevitable offense from Flint, only to realize nothing had happened after a while.

Opening one of his eyes, Spirit Fang glanced at Flint, who remained immovable, almost as if he had lost interest in thrashing them.

"Whoops, you're quite lucky Mister Spirit Fang. My team is currently wondering where I went after all this time, so you may die this once and return to your team as well. I trust that you won't try anything funny anymore, right?" Xu Feng clasped his hands and explained the circumstances.

Almost instantaneously, Spirit Fang nodded his head, spread his arms wide, and prepared himself for Flint to kill him once.

Never once did he expect that dying once would be such a great feeling.

Of course, those who had received similar treatment as Emberwolf were now glaring at Spirit Fang as if he were their number one enemy.

"Hunter Rick, you want to remain in the team? Then you better ambush this little piece of shit once we're out," Emberwolf commanded, his eyes fuming at Spirit Fang smiling in bliss as Flint stomped his paw on his face.

"Yes, Boss." Hunter Rick, who had nearly been strangled despite his ghost-like form, nodded in response. His cleverness had backfired, so he now needed to do his best to curry favor with Emberwolf.

At the same time, everyone who was involved collectively agreed unanimously that this incident had never happened. Additionally, the information related to Xu Feng's monstrous pet was being kept shut due to the contract that each of them had signed before getting bashed.

People often mentioned that those who experienced the same misery would be closer than ever since no one understood better than them.

And this statement remained true as they all shook hands with their ghostly hands and prayed for others to offend the cunning four-eyed.

"May the fucking Reaver Guild continue to provoke such a person!" They all shouted simultaneously.

"I shall feed them fake information and have them suffer. If they don't even have their foundation shaken, then I won't be called Emberwolf anymore!" Emberwolf announced, vowing fiercely for his so-called affiliation to be damned to hell.

Meanwhile, Xu Feng remained unaware of how much hatred he had helped the Reaver Guild gain by doing this action.

All he wanted was to let them know the consequences of provoking him, but he might have overdone it.

However, who cares?

'If Emberwolf still dares to continue to provoke me, then I'll gladly reveal this clip of him to the world to see.' Xu Feng thought to himself and revived Spirit Fang before dismissing him.
