Chapter 320: 10 Aaron's New Clones on Earth
Their authority collapsed after that incident. People started to unite and fight against extortion. They did not want to pay any money under the pretext of security costs at the place.
However, on the other hand, Aaron became famous because of this. Several job offers were offered to him, from being a bodyguard to joining a party.
Aaron was happy to get such offers from them, a sign that he was welcomed by the people in Earth Core Tower. Even so, Aaron was forced to reject them on the grounds of different goals.
After all, the money Aaron had was huge, capable of supporting him until death. He wasn't really interested in working with others just for the sake of earning money.
The incident suddenly attracted the attention of the town guild. They gathered in the city center and began to surround Aaron in a circle, making it difficult for him to escape.
"City guild."
"Your strength is really mysterious. You'd better come with us. I can guarantee that you won't be harmed," the man leading the siege replied to Aaron.
They couldn't be trusted, especially since they had previously tried to arrest Aaron on the grounds that he had killed several mages inside the labyrinth. Going with them would be bad for Aaron.
Aaron stretched his hand forward, releasing a purple light that flew forward and exploded quite powerfully, creating a large purple dome that confined Aaron inside.
The dome was formed from the condensation of high purple magic, magic from the purple darkness element. None of the city guild members managed to break through the dome wall, their bodies even bouncing away when they tried to touch the wall.
"I will not go with you. I will not be ruled by you," Aaron replied.
Aaron's right hand swung to the side, tearing through the dimensional boundary and revealing a dimensional crack.
The entire city guild was shocked, trying to break in to stop Aaron from walking into that dimension.
"We just need to talk to you. We'll help with whatever—"
Aaron's figure disappeared completely from inside the purple dome, the dimensional crack also closing and shrinking on its own.
After Aaron left the dome area, the purple dome lost its power and slowly faded away on its own. Now, the city guild members were able to enter closer without fear of being bounced off by the dome's defense magic.
"His power is really mysterious. We can't play around with that guy," the man replied.
"Do we need to look for him all over the city?" asked the city guild staff, to which the man responded with a nod.
"Not only look for him, sketch his face and post it on the information bulletin boards on every city floor. Give a big reward to those who manage to catch that person," explained the man.
"What's his name? We don't know what his name is."
"The shirt man with purple magic."
From elsewhere, Aaron brought up the dimensional cracks in front of the ruins of his house. Since it was noon and it was lunch break, several people saw Aaron's appearance from inside the dimensional crack.
Although they saw him, none of them dared to come over to him. That was because Aaron was a mage and his ability was able to manipulate dimensions, something unreachable by ordinary people.
Aaron realized something, searching for information on the whereabouts of Golden Cross alone would be very tiring and time-consuming.
He wandered his gaze, looking at the landscape of London which was filled with urban areas —no forests or mountains.
It didn't have to be mountains or forests, large areas without people could also be an option for Aaron. He was reminded of a group of islands in the north, one of which was the fair isle.
Among other islands, fair isle is uninhabited at the moment, precisely after the nuclear war disaster hundreds of years ago. It could be a suitable location for Aaron to stay, while waiting for his clone to do its job.
Aaron flew strongly from the center of London to the north, at high speed and accompanied by a purple magic trail that stretched across the sky, people could see the trail and guessed about the identity of the wizard.
It didn't take long for Aaron to arrive at Fair Isle. As expected, the island was uninhabited and difficult to access by ordinary people, the forest ecosystem and grass fields were also still preserved with an abundant amount of natural energy.
Aaron landed right in the center of the island, then used his Additional Talent to bring up the number of clones he wanted.
Due to his status changing to Dark Ruler, all the talent ranks he had increased drastically until they reached their peak without ascension. Now, Aaron's clone talent was at rank SSS.
"Clone! Appear!"
From his purple magic energy, it split into 10 dots that began to form clone bodies that looked exactly like Aaron. Even so, they would be assigned to several different places with different appearances as well.
Slowly, their bodies condensed and perfectly formed 10 clones who were ready to obey the orders and tasks of Aaron's original body. Aaron opened his eyes, his 10 clones seemed to bow their heads towards him.
"Five of you go and look for traces of the Golden Cross. If you have to attract public attention, then do it," Aaron ordered.
"The remaining five of you go to each Union, find out the situation there and try to mingle with the mages. I need to know a lot of information about this world," Aaron said.
"We got it!" they affirmed, Aaron's 10 clones.
Even though they were Aaron's clones, but Aaron wasn't worried about their magical abilities. At least, they were in the Integrity Knight mage tier which was difficult for any mage to match.
Aaron's 10 clones flew away from the fair isle leaving Aaron alone on the island. To keep any intruders from entering the island, Aaron threw crystal gems in the four cardinal directions on the island.
"Shield, activate!" said Aaron.
A protective wall emerged from the four crystal gems, forming a dome with a transparent color that was hard to detect by any mage, even ordinary people.
Aaron sat back and relaxed while occasionally taking a deep breath. He closed his eyes and let him see what his clone was doing.
"Alright. This way, it's easy for me to find the whereabouts of Golden Cross and Mom."
