RWBY: Oscar the gamer

Chapter 49: I understand him I think Bonus

Meanwhile in a different place, in a room Ozpin was looking at Oscar fiels, as next to him was Glynda.

Ozpin looked her as he spoke. "So I was right after all".

Glynda eyes widents as she looked at him. "But how, the only magic user left are you and".

Ozpin stopped her from fishing. "And Salem yes indeed, I gave some of power to the 4 Maiden which in high sight wasn't the best idea, some to Qrow awn Raven so my power's can't be passed one".

Glynda looked at him as she spoke. "Then how do get Magic".

Ozpin moves his glasses, as he still sense Oscar magic. "I have my Theory each being more Ridiculous then the last".

Glynda looked at Ozpin, intrigued yet concerned. "What do you mean, more ridiculous?"

Ozpin paused for a moment, rubbing his chin as he stared at the file in front of him, the magic emanating from Oscar still lingering faintly in the air. "Well, Glynda, what if Oscar... wasn't just some random boy? What if, somehow, his connection to magic was always there? What if my power, the one I gave to the Maidens, found its way into him, not in the form of a traditional transfer, but as a connection—an echo of something greater, something ancient?"

Glynda frowned, her concern deepening. "So, you're saying Oscar is... connected to something older? Something more powerful?"

Ozpin nodded slowly. "Yes. His connection to magic could be something more complex than we originally thought. I've sensed it ever since he started showing signs of his Semblance... it doesn't just match the traits of a regular magic user. It's different. Almost like a conduit."

Glynda's gaze turned sharp as she processed the information. "But if that were true, why hasn't he shown more control over it? Why is it just flickering now and then?"

"That's the part of my theory that seems absurd," Ozpin replied with a slight chuckle. "Perhaps he's been living with this potential for far longer than we realize. Maybe his body was never truly ready to handle the magic until now. Or maybe... he needed the right circumstances for it to awaken. But now that it has... the question is, what does this mean for us?"

Glynda was silent for a moment, clearly thinking hard. "If Oscar truly has some sort of magical connection, then he could be a key to things beyond our understanding. We need to tread carefully with him."

Ozpin turned to her, his eyes serious for the first time in their conversation. "Yes, Glynda. We can't let Oscar's potential fall into the wrong hands. And I fear that Salem might already be aware of this... If we don't guide him, or if he isn't prepared, he could become a target."

Glynda crossed her arms, clearly unsettled by the new revelation. "But what about the others? Team RWBY and JNPR? We can't keep this from them, especially if Oscar's role is even more critical than we thought."

Ozpin sighed heavily, a weight in his voice. "I wish I could tell them everything, but they wouldn't understand. Not yet. They have their own battles to fight. But we must keep a close eye on Oscar... and prepare him. Whatever power is awakening inside of him could be the very thing that shifts the balance of this war."

As Glynda absorbed this, her worry grew. "So, what do we do next? What should we tell him?"

Ozpin looked at her, his gaze distant for a moment, as if contemplating something far beyond their current conversation. "For now, we let him continue to grow. We help him develop his Semblance, understand his magic... and keep him safe. The rest will come in time."

The room fell silent, the air heavy with the weight of the unknown future. As Ozpin and Glynda continued to watch over Oscar, a storm was quietly brewing on the horizon—one that no one could fully prepare for.

Back at Beacon, Oscar slept soundly, oblivious to the growing danger around him. In his dreams, his power surged and flared, pulsing with untapped potential. His connection to magic—something he had never fully understood—was becoming clearer with each passing day. But what exactly it meant for his future, and the fate of everyone he cared about, was still a mystery.

The next day Jaune looked at Oscar. "So you want me to use my Semblance on you".

Oscar looked at him as he spoke. "Just do it".

Oscar had a particular Theory, he wanted too how Juane semble will effect him, especially with his gamer systems, Jaune was bit nurvise as he touched Oscar.

As he did Oscar felt his Aura boost up, he then saw his power get stronger

Ding!

[Host has gotten a temporary +20 to everything]

Oscar then got up, as Jaune was still holding his. "So did something work".

Oscar looked back at Jaune. "Yes".

He then but his leg in the ground as it the training room ground cracked, and almost broke.

Jaune jumped back, wide-eyed as he looked at the crack in the ground. "Whoa, what the hell just happened?!"

Oscar, still standing, adjusted his posture with ease, as if the increased power was something he could now control. He grinned. "Your Semblance definitely did something. It's not just a boost to my aura... It's like my abilities have multiplied temporarily. This is beyond just a little power-up."

Jaune blinked, still trying to process what had happened. "Wait, so you're saying your power is stronger now because of my Semblance?"

Oscar nodded. "Exactly. Your Semblance gives a temporary boost to someone's abilities, right? But with my unique connection to magic and the system in me, it's amplifying everything. I'm not just feeling the boost to my Aura, but it's like it's affecting my physical strength, my combat instincts... Everything."

Jaune felt a little embarrassed. "I didn't expect that much of an effect... You sure you're alright? You're not gonna, like, break the room or something?"

Oscar laughed lightly. "It's not going to break anything... but I've definitely noticed a difference. Let's see how long this boost lasts."

Jaune continued holding onto Oscar's hand as he tried to maintain the Semblance, unsure of how much longer it could last. He had never been able to fully comprehend how his Semblance worked on others, especially with someone like Oscar, who was so different from most people.

Ding!

[Temporary Boost has expired.]

Oscar felt the power dissipate, the energy in his body returning to its usual state. He stretched, feeling a little lighter but missing the strength he'd just had. "Well, that was interesting."

Jaune released his grip, clearly relieved. "That was... insane. I didn't think it would have that much of an impact. Maybe we should be careful with this."

Oscar smiled knowingly. "I think we can push things further. But, yeah, let's keep it under control. I don't want to accidentally tear down Beacon."

They both looked around the training room, where the cracked floor was starting to settle back into place. It would take more than a few cracks to damage the sturdy infrastructure of Beacon, but it was a close call.

"That's insane," Jaune muttered. "I had no idea my Semblance could do that."

Oscar gave him a thumbs-up. "You've definitely got more potential than you realize, Jaune. But I think we'll need to experiment more with it. See how my power evolves when it's combined with yours."

Jaune nodded. "Yeah... and I need to figure out how to control it better. Maybe with some training."

Oscar glanced at Jaune and then back at the room's wall. "Definitely. There's so much we don't understand, especially with the power we're dealing with. But it's good to know we've got something else up our sleeves."

Jaune's expression softened into a grin. "Just promise me, we'll try to avoid completely breaking the training room next time."

Oscar chuckled. "Agreed."

As the two continued to talk and plan for future experiments, the weight of their powers—and their potential—hung in the air. Their journey was far from over, and with each new discovery, they were one step closer to understanding what they were truly capable of.
