These corpses wore thick metal armor and held cold weapons in their hands, and despite having been dead for so long, they still exuded a powerful aura and had yet to decompose.

The ruined buildings, the broken weapons, and the corpses stood in this place as if they were evidence of a long-forgotten war.

Chu Wuyao only took a brief glance at this scene, before she turned to the left and walked forward, stepping over the corpses that lay near her feet.

The direction she chose seemed to be random, but in fact, she could feel a sense of calling coming from that direction, as if someone or something was summoning her.

The buildings and corpses around her seemed endless, but Chu Wuyao keenly discovered that the style of the buildings and the armor on the corpses had changed, looking like they belonged to a different era.

Seeing this, she became even more sure of her guess.

Time quickly went by and even Chu Wuyao lost sense of the time, not knowing for how long she had walked.

It could have been minutes, or it could have been hours, but finally, Chu Wuyao arrived at her destination, the place where the sense of summoning came from.

There were no longer buildings and corpses around her, and only a slightly raised platform could be seen in the distance.

The platform wasn't very big, only a few meters in width and length, and there was only one thing on top of it.

It was a statue, a statue that Chu Wuyao was quite familiar with and had seen many times before.
