Mai casually stretched his arms, as if the battle had been nothing more than a warm-up. He could feel the gazes locked onto him—shock, admiration, and fear all mixed together.

Jinhyuk coughed, forcing himself to stand despite the pain. His face twisted between disbelief and bitter amusement. "Damn... That's some absurd power."

Mai smirked. "You wanted a demonstration."

Jinhyuk exhaled sharply, shaking his head. "That wasn't a demonstration. That was a massacre."

The other hunters slowly backed away, murmuring among themselves.

"This guy is beyond S-rank…""He's like a walking calamity.""How the hell did we not know about him before?"

Director Choi, who had been watching from the upper stands, tapped her earpiece. "Increase surveillance on Mai Lee. We need to assess his growth rate."

But even as she issued orders, a nagging thought refused to leave her mind.
