SSS Ranked Taboo Student

Chapter 176: - Meeting with Sis and friends -

"Please can I walk with you?"

Amongst all other things, Brielle was smart, smart enough to become an S Elites.

Realizing that her beauty wouldn't help her that much, given how everyone simply discarded her from their right earlier like she wasn't worth their attention. Brielle made a quick decision to make the first move.

And by move, make friends with someone of influence.

'Max'

Silently popping her lips, Brielle walked towards Max who was about to walk off.

'Huh? Walk with me?'

Light makeup, perfectly tucked shirt in her pleated short skirt enough to blend with the cropped bow cardigan she was wearing instead of the usual uniform leather jacket or cardigan for A Ranked Students and lower.

'From the look of it, she's very well informed and has a very acute dressing sense.'

Max silently judged as he observed her beautiful face.

'...And to think no one actually swooned over her from the get go.'

"Why?"

Appearing to ponder for a moment, he responded.

'What a relief, I wasn't ignored.'

Brielle put on her best smile before she responded.

"Well… I am new Elite and you're my senior. I don't know anything about this place—"

"Okay."

Cutting her short, Max responded and turned to walk away.

Stunned, Brielle took a moment to get herself and then quickened her steps to walk beside him.

The hallway was pristine—lined with smooth, white walls that curved gently, giving the space a sleek, futuristic flow. Everything looked seamless, as if the entire corridor had been molded from a single piece of high-tech material.

'Just what is the S Elites ruckus all about-' Max thought, only to be interrupted an instant later.

"Over there, there's a map." Brielle said pointing at a big sign board on the wall.

The hallway, starting from the elevator, spanned more than ten metres to the next intercession which they could see.

Following Brielle's pointed finger, Max saw the map and they walked towards it.

"Wow."

Brielle subtly gasped.

And Max? He stilled down his surprise and wore a neutral expression.

The Elite Building was constructed in a huge cricket maze.

Starting from the Access wing, the two hallways that branched it actually went on in a circle , circumference, and branched several other hallways.

"Central Atrium… Innovation and Strategy Wing… Luxury Lounge Wing?" Brielle muttered carefully as she read the labelled structures on the map.

'Training Hall? Ranking? Night?'

While he didn't act like it, Max caught a few intriguing words that made him question if this was really a High School.

"Oh look, there's actually a Welcome Office." Pointing at a little labelled mark close to the Access Wing label, Brielle smiled with relief.

From the look of it, they hadn't given her any useful information like they did to him.

With their goal in mind they took the right hallway.

Not up to ten seconds, they arrived at a broader hallway or rather one of the main intersections of the maze structure.

Teamed up with ten or so Elites who happened to be passing-by with a serious expression that was far from their cold arrogant personality.

"It's really him." One of them said out loud while the rest threw him a glance and kept walking forward, resuming their conversation.

'Wow.' Brielle glancing at their departing back muttered inwardly.

"The welcome office should be at the next turn right? We've been walking since and still no room is labeled as such." Sounding confused, Brielle skeptically glanced at Max's expression to see his gaze glued in a certain direction.

'Huh ?' she thought.

"It isn't an office, it's just a screen inserted into the wall."

Hearing his words, Brielle noticed a wall they had passed was actually a "welcome"playing ad video labelled as the welcome office.

They both stood there about to watch when a finger lightly tapped Max's shoulder.

'Huh?' Raising his brow, he coldly turned around to face whoever it was.

However, his facade quickly melted at the sight of his charming sister.

Smiling, with suppressed excitement tainting her cheeks slightly flush, Evelyn looked more socially active than he had ever known her to.

She was wearing a green baggy sweater that reached her knees.

'Isn't that mine though, but I have never worn it actually. When did she take it?' Taking in his sister's appearance.

"Hi."

She didn't come alone, there was a snow-white Asian beauty next to her who kept staring at him intensely while he found her to be familiar.

'She's that girl.' A split second later, realization dawned on Max as a mental image of striking Korean girl formed in his mind.

'Though she's no less beautiful in a partial uniform, the difference is striking.'

Sending her a silent curt nod, he noticed three other girls who stood behind her and also part of their group.

"Hi." Staring at him like he was a special specimen, they all acted shyly with a coy smile on their lips.

To think his sister had such friends,Max felt slightly moved.

Spreading his arms, Evelyn leaned closer for a little hug which they then let go.

To think they won't miss such comfort with just two days apart.

Playing the side character, Brielle held her breath with hidden envy and jealousy directed at Evelyn and Co.

"Is it true?" Excited, Evelyn stared at him in disbelief.

The proof was before her, none Elite would never be permitted to enter the Elite Base.

"Yes."

"Come let me show you around."

It was when Evelyn pulled his arm that she noticed that there was a figure beside him.

The rest of her friends also seemed to notice and all of their attention turned to the younger girl.

"I…"

Brielle lost her composure, sensing all eyes on her.

'Huh?'

Glancing down at her from the corner of his eyes for a moment, Max decided to save her.

"She's with me."

At his words, the look in Evelyn's eyes turned secretly suspicious then a smile bloomed on her face.

"Alright you can tag in with us." She said to Evelyn who instantly looked gratified about her earlier choice.

"Thanks." She muttered.

With the help of five top beauties, also SS Elites leading him, heads turned with whispers here and there.

"This is the Central Atrium."

After cutting several hallways, telling about the school, Evelyn smirked as he stared amazed at the big space that was half the size of an airport lobby.

"Check out the Ranking!"
