Chapter 6: Chapter 6: First Part of the Plan (2)
(Jayden's PoV)
I made a plan, well, part of a plan.
It is a rough draft based on what I knew before, and from whatever information I can get from the library. Much of the information is restricted as I am not even a Padawan officially, but it matters not.
My first part of the plan was to make a lot of income quickly, and to do so, I need some capital first, which is where my family comes in.
My father is a merchant, someone who trades between worlds.
Though many believe that the Trade Federation has the monopoly over trade between worlds, that was not true. There are many others who trade, but the Trade Federation is a big one and can compete against small merchants by taking losses initially without going out of business, making it a powerful trade organisation in the galaxy.
Since the Trade Federation was in league with the Sith, to build something, I need channels that can transport resources. This can be handled by my father's merchant group.
Also, since I would be bound by the temple for now, I need my family to buy land in my name to produce something on those lands. My third gift was based on what my territory produces or what I personally produce, irrespective of where I am.
Of course, to see the effects, I need to become the Padawn, which should happen as soon as my assigned master returns, which would happen in the next few days. So, before that, preparing the lands in my name would be good, and production would start as soon as my new master arrives.
Also, I intended to establish a publishing company to publish my light novels. I can also use the established companies to publish a few traditional novels. I can copy every damn book I read back on Earth, whatever it was and publish them here.
I can also establish Anime Production and Distribution companies, which are absent here.
The Capital World alone has trillions of people. Even if a few billion watch the anime or read my books, the profits would be in the hundreds of millions, even billions.
While I would be doing this, my father would buy agricultural land in Naboo. Why the farmland?
It was because, when the war started, there would be a high demand for food and medical products. If I can produce them in huge quantities beforehand, I can sell them during the war for a premium.
Well, with the multiplication factor, I am sure that as long as the resource production starts, there would be no lack of resources, but for what I have envisioned, I need a lot of resources.
My farm plan was not just for Naboo, but I need to select the worlds carefully, or I might end up with losses later on.
Naboo stood with the Republic, and the Trade Federation war was because of the Plasma Mines, not because of a lack of food and medicines, though that may happen when the Trade Federation occupies the world.
So, by concentrating only on farms, the Sith would not be alarmed by the moves, but if I make moves that are important for the Sith to make the Clone Wars happen, then everything would be a waste of effort.
I need to select a few more worlds that would be neutral or that were not greedy and are on the side of the Republic.
If you take Ry'loth, the senator was greedy. So, if I make any moves on their world, he would mostly cause a scene, and the Sith would know about it. I need to fly under the radar for now.
I need to be careful in selecting the worlds for farms.
With the advanced technologies, a lot of food and medicine plants can be grown in even a small tract of land. So, there was no rush in selecting those farms.
In addition to the entertainment and farming sectors, there was another sector where a lot of money can be gained, and the demand for that is never low, that is, droids.
They are present everywhere. Though the people started to hate droids during the war, that didn't stop people from using droids.
Most of the droid manufacturing went to battle droids by Techno Union. as long as I can establish industries that produce droid parts and with a multiplication factor, there would be a lot of these parts ready to sell, when the demand for parts increases but the supply decreases.
There are other plans, but they are strictly for after the Naboo Crisis, once Palpatine ascends to be the chancellor and kills his master. That would be the best time to strike them financially. If that delays the war a bit, it would be for the best.
It would give me enough time to establish a powerful force to contend with the empire, if my plans fail to stop the empire from forming.
---
Anyway, the first thing I did was to call my dad and speak to him about certain things. Being their only son gave me some benefits. He agreed to do as I asked, especially after I used the Force as a way to convince him.
My father knew that Jedi sometimes see the future, though only bits of the future.
When I told him that I saw something terrible happen in the near future, it terrified him a bit and made him accept what I asked for. They are not lies anyway. So, warning them felt right, and I made sure that he wouldn't leak the information, as that could bring dire consequences to their family.
After warning him, I laid out my plan, at least the parts that he would be contributing directly.
He immediately transferred the credits required for me to create he companies that I envisioned, and also promised to buy the best farm lands on Naboo, as soon as possible.
Many look down on fams, mainly concentrating on weapons or ships. Though they were important, food is essential for the survival of any creature. One can't sustain without food for long.
Also, medicines help people to heal from injuries and diseases.
In addition to that, farms can be used to produce exotic fruits, which would fetch a great price when sold directly. If those are turned into exotic fruit wines, they would be even more premium than they should be.
A lot of credits would flow as long as one knows how to use the resources they have.
