Star Wars: The Rise of New Order

Chapter 5: Chapter 5: First Part of the Plan (1)

Jayden lay down on his bed as he reminisced about what happened with the ROB.

He repeated everything that happened back then in his mind.

"No, thinking back, I doubted that there was nothing I could give to her, and I thought maybe it was to save the galaxy, thinking that how easily she accepted my wishes, but I may be wrong. To those ROBs, we are like Movies and TV shows".

"We are their amusement. To beings such as those, whether a few planets blow up or a few million humans die, that wouldn't matter to them. Every day, billions of living organisms should be dying out there, like ants, bacteria, flies, etc..."

"One may think those lives are not the same as human lives, but they are wrong. It depends on the point of view. We view those ants or other insects as nothing, and similarly, to beings like ROBs, humans are ants. They matter nothing much. What they care about was how much drama we can draw and give them entertainment", Jayden sighed, thinking that.

It was a sad feeling that in the large picture called the universe, or maybe even the multiverse, Earth was a small pebble, and humans are not even a speck of dust.

Even the SW galaxy might not be much when one considers the universe, as new galaxies take birth while the old ones die out over time.

The ROB might want an outcome to entertain her, nothing more. Even if he fails to do anything meaningful, it would still be entertainment for her.

"No, I can't my life be just an entertainment. Even though I could do nothing regarding that, I can't just let what was supposed to happen, happen. If that happens, either I have to be on the run forever or become an Inquisitor who hunts the surviving Jedi", Jayden sighed, thinking of the bleak future.

Neither option is good for him.

"I need to get strong not just on a personal level, but also have to find an army to fight the Empire back, if my plan to stop the Empire from rising fails", Jayden muttered.

He had already prepared a few ideas to implement, which could help him achieve these goals, but he couldn't do them alone. He needs help, and he has the perfect people to help him in this venture.

---

Jayden called his father using his communicator.

Jedi were given a communicator when they became a Padawan, not before, but there are always some exceptions.

There are rules forbidding Jedi children from having a connection with their family once they were taken to the Jedi Temple, but that was just for the ones who came from poor or commoner families. The rich, however, circumvent those ridiculous rules.

Similar to how Dooku knew where he came from, and how Obi-Wan and Kanan didn't, it can be seen that there are disparities in how rules are followed.

Though the rich are breaking rules, in this scenario, they are right.

How can a person care for someone else if they have distanced themselves from having any relations?

Jedi were supposed to serve the people and show them compassion.

How can they do that if they are forbidden from showing emotions, like droids?

A long time ago, there used to be Jedi Families that were very influential in the Republic, especially because children from Jedi Families were rather talented on average when compared to other children.

At that time, even though there were some restrictions regarding Jedi loving others, the restrictions only applied to padawans. Jedi Knights did get married or have children without marriage.

Many masters married each other, or had relationships with the opposite gender, bearing children who were powerful force users.

It can be seen in SWTOR that Satele Shan, who was the Jedi Order's Grand Master, had a son. Moreover, she was said to be a descendant of Revan, not a daughter, but a descendant. It means there was a continuous line for years.

She was one of the powerful Jedi of her time. If not for the fact that the Emperor was someone who lived for centuries and had experience and increased his power, she would not have been in such a dire situation in the later years of her life.

Back then, with the Sith threat present, the restrictions were just guidelines of some masters who wanted to be celibate.

It all changed when the galaxy believed that the Sith were destroyed.

At that time, using the Ruusan Reforms, some bastards destroyed the culture of the Jedi families, forbidding love among Jedi.

At the time when there was a Sith threat, those bastards couldn't fully enforce the restriction of love among Jedi, but with the reduction of Jedi Power in the galaxy after the Ruusan Reforms, which restricted their military power, Jedi slowly forgot their own culture that was established a few millennia ago.

It can be seen how stupid the order behaved during the Clone Wars.

Those clones were trained extensively for war, but Jedi who stopped such training long ago, suddenly took charge of being generals and commanders, which led to a lot of unnecessary deaths.

In fact, by taking the roles of generals and commanders the Jedi made it easy for Palpatine to blame them for the war, and the people believed that this was a Jedi War, and ahs nothing to do with the Chancellor.

Even the Separatists called the military ships as Jedi Cruisers and such, which should have been called only Republic Cruisers.

Almost all the galaxy saw the war as the Jedi War, and with the bad name they accumulated by taking away the force awakened children and also by taking sides with the Senate rather than the people, many saw the destruction of the Jedi as a great thing for the galaxy.

None saw Jedi and Republic, though corrupt and inefficient, were much better than what came next after the order was destroyed.

Sure, the Jedi and Republic failed the people, but at least they didn't outright commit genocides like the Empire.

---

Jayden's dad picked up his communicator immediately when he saw that his son was calling him.

"Hey Jayden. How are you?" his dad asked in a soft voice.

"I am good, Dad, how are you and how is Mom?" Jayden asked.

"We are good. How's life at the temple?" he asked.

"Oh, I passed the trials and soon would be a Padawan officially, as soon as my assigned master returns to Corscuant", Jayden replied with a smile.

A smile bloomed on his father's face. "Congrats, Jayden", his father was delighted to hear the news.

Having a Jedi Son among the Elite is considered greatness. Of course, that greatness has been declining over the years. However, in some worlds, it was still considered a status symbol to have a family member in the Jedi Order, as they were considered to be on par with the Senate. Still, unlike a senator who was supposed to oversee only their planet, a Jedi can oversee other planets as well.

"Thank you, Dad, but that is not why I called you", Jayden's voice became serious.

Hearing the seriousness in his son's voice, his father's face also changed. "What happened?"

"Not like this. Go to a secure encrypted connection", Jayden said.

"Okay", his father switched to an encrypted and secure line, and so did Jayden.

"Now tell me", his father urged.

He has never seen his son like that. So, he felt that something bad might have happened, and he wanted to know it, and see if he could help.
