Chapter 156: Chapter 49: Turning Point II
The moment his feet touched the ground of Konoha, Kamihane knew what the bastard planned to do.
"Using innocents as shields?"
Urashiki scrambled to his feet, a series of muffled cracks echoing from within his body as shattered bones reset. Dead skin sloughed off, flesh healed, and with wisps of steam, his body returned to its original state. In just a moment, he had recovered his ability to move.
Such was the monstrous nature of the Ōtsutsuki.
Kamihane gave him no chance to escape. His fist cut through the air, leaving a scorching trail of fire like a horizontally-launched rocket, slamming viciously toward Urashiki's face.
With a flash of red light, countless paper cranes disintegrated and vanished. Urashiki teleported in front of the Uchiha clan grounds.
"Amatsumikaboshi: Shooting Star Fate!"
He flung his fishing rod, and a dozen slender hooks shot out, piercing several passing Uchiha. The poor souls, startled by Urashiki's sudden appearance, had no time to react, staring blankly as the hooks entered their bodies, drawing out blossoms of blue Chakra Flames.
Just then, Kamihane was upon him. A fiery punch sent Urashiki flying, the surging force kicking up a wave of fire that also struck the chakra-drained, unconscious Uchiha, sending them flying like rag dolls, their fate unknown.
"Hahahaha! Uchiha Kamihane, you actually have the heart to strike your own!" Urashiki coughed up blood and laughed, flicking his wrist to send out more hooks, piercing several members of the Police Force who had rushed over at the sound of the commotion.
This time, however, before he could fish out their chakra, Kamihane descended from the sky, wreathed in scorching flames, and pinned him to the ground!
Kamihane's fists became a blur, delivering hundreds of punches in just three seconds. Streams of fire surged with each blow, every punch met with the crisp sound of cracking bone. The ground could not withstand such force, shattering under the continuous impacts!
Gritting his teeth, Urashiki endured the assault. The moment his technique was off cooldown, he instantly transformed into paper cranes to evade the damage, teleporting another hundred meters away. By now, he was nearing the main gate of the Uchiha compound!
"Uchiha Kamihane! Come on! Punch with all your might, unleash all your power!" Urashiki laughed wildly. "To deal with me, let's see how many people you can bear to bury with me!"
"Do you really think such a low-life trick would work on me?"
Kamihane raised his hands, mobilizing all the chakra in his body. It surged like a vast ocean, carrying the roar of thunder as it poured into his Shinketsu point.
"Sixth Gate of View, Open!"
An intensely dense green aura erupted. A fierce gale tore the earth apart, and a rolling wave of energy shot into the sky, resembling a green lotus blooming between heaven and earth, its petals layered with endless life and power!
Under the force of this violent energy, the main gate of the Uchiha compound was the first to shatter and disintegrate, torn to shreds by the fierce wind. The ground exploded, kicking up a cloud of dust that cleared a radius of several hundred meters!
"Are you a madman—"
Before Urashiki could finish his sentence, Kamihane vanished, his movements untraceable, like an antelope hanging by its horns.
In his place, a massive air cannon descended from the sky. The immense power, like a falling meteor, instantly smashed Urashiki into the ground.
"Evening Elephant: First Step!"
It wasn't over. Kamihane became a phantom, moving at high speed in mid-air. With each flicker of his afterimage, he unleashed a massive, powerful air cannon, like a waterfall cascading from the heavens. In just three breaths, countless air cannons had pierced the earth!
Urashiki was quickly embedded in a pit of unfathomable depth.
"You brat…"
Under such a dense barrage, Urashiki had completely lost the ability to move. Even lifting a finger was a fantasy!
The air cannons passed through his body without any flair, crushing every bone in his body and rupturing his internal organs. Extreme pain drilled into his brain along every nerve, threatening to destroy his very being!
His mind screamed warnings; this was a power he absolutely could not withstand! A few more seconds, and he would surely die!
At this moment, Urashiki had long abandoned any thought of hunting Uchiha Kamihane. This monster possessed power far beyond that of an entire era, completely shattering his sense of superiority.
The only thing he could do now was rely on the divine techniques he once took pride in to cling to life, fleeing madly like a stray dog.
"Tsuru—Sora—"
He roared, forcing his dōjutsu. Red-glowing paper cranes scattered and flew, and he finally escaped the deep pit, stumbling wretchedly into a house.
Bang! Splintered wood and tiles rained down. Relying on his hastily repaired spine, Urashiki managed to lift his head. Before him, two young boys huddled together in a corner, trembling.
Their faces were pale, clearly terrified by Urashiki's inhumanly battered body. Panic flickered in their eyes, like wary young animals.
Urashiki's expression suddenly turned fierce. The moment his tendons were repaired, he kicked off the floor with all his might, pouncing on the two boys like a hawk hunting poultry.
The door exploded. A tall, imposing figure appeared in the doorway. In the blazing sunlight, his form was a blur, with only a pair of scarlet eyes radiating a cold, deadly light.
"What… what are you doing? Are you crazy? I have hostages, you bastard!"
To Urashiki's disbelief, Kamihane raised his fist.
A sonic boom cracked like thunder. A fist flattened the air, descending with the overwhelming momentum of a tiger coming down a mountain, causing everything before it to tremble violently!
The floor, furniture, and walls were annihilated inch by inch. The entire room exploded in a wave of violent vibrations. The "Evening Elephant" roared out like a locomotive, instantly plowing the earth flat.
Countless buildings were annihilated into dust, and many innocent people exploded into a mist of blood, dying horribly under the terrifying force of the punch.
Kamihane stood with his black hair unbound, bathed in the surging, dense green steam, his gaze cold, like an Asura in the mortal world.
At his feet lay Urashiki, who resembled a pile of pulped flesh.
"You… you really are a madman…" Urashiki ignored the blood flowing from his seven orifices and gave a tragic smile.
From the moment Kamihane opened the "Fifth Gate of Closing," he had thought of running. But Kamihane's speed was too great, his attacks too ferocious, clinging to him like a maggot on a bone, making escape impossible.
To relieve some pressure and delay Kamihane's assault, he had a flash of insight and chose to transport both himself and Kamihane to Konoha.
His original intention was to drag the Uchiha Hikari, whom Kamihane cared about, into the battle, so that Kamihane couldn't fight freely. After all, he had already discovered that, with or without Hikari's support, the current Kamihane was an existence he could not contend with.
Unexpectedly, both Hikari and that ugly freak were gone. He had no choice but to flee into the Uchiha compound, intending to use the lives of innocents as his shield.
In his view, all humans possessed compassion. These insignificant emotions were hidden in the softest parts of the human heart. While they seemed trivial, with a little exploitation, these weaknesses could be infinitely magnified, becoming a weapon in his hands to defeat his enemies!
Who knew that Kamihane was a madman.
He remained utterly ruthless, willing to raze the Uchiha compound for several hundred meters to kill him!
An unprecedented fear flickered in his pupils, his heart pounding like a drum, not only from shock at Kamihane's brutality but because he was on the verge of collapse.
If he hadn't used "Amatsumikaboshi: Tsuru no Sora" in time to evade the fatal attacks, he would have died a dozen times over!
Moreover, the monster opposite him was certainly adapting to his Crane Substitution. Once that adaptation was complete, it would all be over.
"You didn't really think you could restrain me with them, did you," Kamihane said faintly.
Before Urashiki's shocked eyes, Kamihane's left eye faded inch by inch, its scarlet light dissipating completely, turning into an eerie, hollow white.
The two brothers who had been turned into a mist of blood appeared out of thin air behind Kamihane. Outside the ruins, the Uchiha clan members who had been killed or caught in the aftershock all reappeared, completely unharmed. Each of them looked around in a daze, as if waking from a nightmare.
"How does my power... compare to a god's?"
Kamihane looked down on Urashiki from above. The power of time distorted around him, and his stark white left eye returned to its original state, once again emitting a dreamlike red glow.
"No."
"You're no god—you're vulnerable!"
Urashiki seemed to have thought of something, his eyes lighting up slightly, like a drowning man grasping at a life-saving straw.
"According to future intelligence, the person you truly care about is not in Konoha, but…"
Urashiki instantly activated his Six Tomoe Rinnegan. Space suddenly darkened, and a black portal swallowed them both in an instant.
Kamihane's nostrils twitched. He smelled a familiar scent and sharply raised his head.
Uchiha Madara, holding a teacup, was staring at him in some bewilderment, and at the figure at his feet… Ōtsutsuki Urashiki
