STRIKER: Independent Beast Tamer

City Police:

Captain Nathan walked out of the prison. After getting some answers, both guards were locked up in the cell. They will be dealt with according to the law.

Nathan then returned to his room. His mood was a bit heavy as he sat in the chair. From the beginning, he knew Jeremy's case was not going to be easy.

The people involved in this case are big figures. The earlier investigations and confessions from the two guards revealed the same truth.

The senior students of Central University 14 are involved in the case. Since they can't break the rules inside the university, they are doing things outside to target Jeremy Night.

He got a few names from them. He then operated the computer to open the database. He started to search after typing the name one after another.

The background information about the students appeared on the screen. He started to scroll down one page after another. As he had guessed, they come from powerful backgrounds.

"Goldcorop, Beast Taming Families, City Governor's office....," Nathan started to go through the students' parents' occupations.

"The cause of their resentment was the STRIKER Department," he thought.

During the course of the investigation, he learned that no one liked the STRIKER Department. Yet no one spoke up because of the dean.

She is the one behind the development of the STRIKER Department. More importantly, the department representative, Jeremy Night, was a genius as well.

He consistently performed well before defeating one of the S-Graders, which was the last straw for these forces who hated the STRIKER Department.

Sigh!

A sigh escaped his mouth. He couldn't do anything about it. If the mastermind is among the people, then a mere city police officer can't do anything.

Only the City Governors can do something about it. He has decided to inform Dean Carolyn first. She must be waiting for the interrogation results. So he calls her to inform her.

A few minutes later,

Jeremy turned around and started going towards the Forbidden Area. Since he had taken care of the threat, he decided to get a breakthrough first.

Time passed.

After more than one hour of continuous running, Jeremy got closer to the Forbidden Area. On the way, he came across a few corrupted beasts.

They were slain by his blade. Soon, he reached the entrance of the Forbidden Area. After getting inside the place, he didn't take a rest.

Rather, he started looking for the abandoned structure. There were many abandoned structures. Finally, he found one, but it was destroyed by the beasts there.

This time he wanted to find a better place. It didn't take long for him to find a door-like cave structure in the area filled with mounds.

Jeremy paused his footsteps and looked over the mounds. There were a number of mounds in this place as far as his eyesight went. He couldn't help but think of waste burial.

He got near one of the mounds and touched it. It had become hardened rock. You couldn't tell whether it was used for waste disposal from the plant.

Jeremy then looked over the cave and started going towards it.

This cave was an odd structure compared to the rest of the mounds. Jeremy then entered the cave and started looking around.

He unsheathed his katana before cutting down the overgrown bushes and weeds. Then the area became somewhat clear. When he tried to go deeper, he found that the further path was blocked by huge boulders and rocks.

If he wanted to go further, he could only remove the obstacles. But he didn't want to do that. Right now, he had found a place for practice. He was going to do that.

He then started placing gadgets outside before coming inside the room. Then he sat cross-legged on the ground and started to practice the Inner Healing method.

The pure natural energy entered his body. He closed his eyes and began to observe the mental zone. The unknown beast egg shook before sucking the pure natural energy from outside.

Seeing that, Jeremy's mouth curved into an arc. His lifeline beast egg had started absorbing the natural energy again. So he cast aside unnecessary thoughts before practicing the Inner Healing method.

Time passed.

Nighttime came. But the mound area was safe without any corrupted beast activity.

Whenever a corrupted beast tried to wander around the place,they were threatened by the cave. There was something hidden deep inside the cave that threatened them.

The next morning, his limit was broken. His strength rose from the early stage to the mid stage. The 2nd circle's 1st Sub-block had its 2nd block filled with light, which represented the mid stage.

It took him more than half an hour to stabilize the new strength.

He was a Tier-2, 1st rank - mid stage beast tamer!

Jeremy opened his eyes. A bright smile appeared on his face. He had achieved a breakthrough. It had come after many long days. It was not as easy as at the Tier-1 level.

Each breakthrough was getting harder. Without resources, it was impossible to achieve this level of breakthrough. He didn't have resources. But fortunately, he had this Forbidden Area.

He guessed even May Lindsey and Victor Scott must be at the Tier-1 limit. So far, nobody knew about his level. He had been keeping a low profile. Even the instructor and Elder Derek had no clue about his real strength.

Sigh!

A relieved sigh escaped his mouth. He had completed his main objective. Now he could leave this place. He then stood up to leave. Jeremy walked out and found the place was quiet like yesterday.

To be honest, he was expecting some attack last night. But surprisingly, there was not a single corrupted beast here. If there had been beasts, the gadgets would have alerted him.

Jeremy thought that this place was special. He should use this place often. He then started going towards the exit. While walking, he kept an eye on the surroundings.

If there were any beasts hiding outside, he could easily spot them with his eye ability.
