STRIKER: Independent Beast Tamer

About 20 minutes later,

We boarded the flight to City C. I couldn't believe a Tier-7 Beast Tamer was traveling with me. I can't wait to see the reactions of my father and mother.

On the other hand, Gisela Reyes had already started working. She had sent a message to the founder regarding the successful contract signing of Jeremy Night.

Then she asked the management to start doing the paperwork. Jeremy Night is going to be a resident of the 10th Zone.

If they complete the work soon, then Jeremy Night can join them quicker as well.

Three hours later,

The flight landed at City C airport. Gisela Reyes frowned. If she had wanted, she could have used her ability to bring him here faster.

It's just that she didn't want to attract attention. She has another forged ID. It shows her residence as Zone 14. So the authorities working here didn't suspect her.

Soon, they reached the lobby. Jeremy found that the staff's gazes were on him. They recognized him instantly.

"Looks like you are popular here," Gisela said.

Hearing that, Jeremy was stunned. Then he said, "I'm the son of the City Governor. Of course, they know me."

Then Jeremy was about to call his family guard. But Gisela said, "Show me the way to your home. I'll take you there within a minute."

Jeremy nodded to her. Then they both exited the airport and came to the street before others could see them.

Gisela grabbed his shoulder. They appeared in mid-air the next moment. Jeremy then pointed his fingers toward his home.

Like a bullet piercing through the air, she moved at breakneck speed.

Shortly afterwards,

Jeremy and she landed inside the Night Family Estate. The guards patrolling were stunned. They thought they were under attack.

Then someone saw Jeremy Night and shouted, "Young master is back!"

Hearing that, other guards collected their thoughts and looked at Jeremy Night. Their worries disappeared the next second.

"It's Young Master Jeremy Night!"

"He has brought someone here? Could she be an instructor?"

The guards were discussing in low tones.

On the other hand, Jeremy Night led Team Leader Gisela to his home. When they arrived at the entrance,

a middle-aged woman made a sudden exit. She quickly arrived in front of Jeremy Night. The person was none other than Nora Night.

"Son, you are back," she said with a smile.

"Yes, I'm here with the team leader to discuss something important. Where is father?" Jeremy replied.

"Leader?" Nora was taken aback.

She then felt a sense of crisis. She immediately understood the woman was a high-tier beast tamer.

"Jeremy, bring your team leader inside," Nora said.

Then Jeremy greeted Team Leader Gisela, and they walked into the building and came to the living room.

"Mother, where is father?" Jeremy asked again.

"Oh, yes. I forgot about it. He is at the city admin office. I'll call him right away." After saying that, Nora walked away to make a call.

Gisela sat on the sofa. She discerned Nora Night's Tier-5 strength. She could see that Jeremy Night's family was not weak.

But if the same family lived in the 10th zone, their strength would most likely be at a middle level.

Jeremy Night was nervously sitting opposite her. He had made a decision, but he didn't know how his parents would react.

City A was already not short of any dangers. Now he was leaving the zone and going to an even more competitive and difficult zone.

Shortly afterwards,

Nora arrived. She said, "Your father is on his way home. He will be here shortly."

After saying that, she went to prepare something to eat.

Gisela continued to remain silent. She was watching and observing everything.

She said, "The Shadow Moon Organization is one of the many mercenary organizations in the 10th zone. Our base is in City A."

"When it comes to the strength of the organization, we are not the strongest, but we are not the weakest either. We are a middle power."

"We have one founder, a few elders, and then active and retired teams. We currently have 10 active teams."

"Our founder is Neil Moon, a Tier-8 Beast Tamer. Not many organizations in the entire top 10 zones have a single Tier-8 Beast Tamer."

"It's just in our organization we only have him. The rest are Tier-7 Beast Tamers, including the active and retired team leaders and elders."

"I'm the team leader of Team 10. You will be working in my team. Since our overall strength is not stronger, we are ranked as a middle power."

"In order to develop the organization, we need young talented blood. But the most S-Graders and rare A-Graders have been selected by the forces in the top 5 zones."

"Which leaves the rest of the zones with fewer options. Fortunately, your profile, along with a few others, came to our organization."

"We were fortunate to select suitable talents," Gisela said with a smile.

On the other hand, Jeremy Night was picturing things in his mind. He was not disappointed. It was already a great chance for him. Fewer members meant he would have more opportunities to prove himself.

A few minutes later,

Nora Night and the maids arrived carrying food and drinks. Nora was nervous at heart. She was sure that some big figure had come.

But her son was keeping a straight face, so she didn't know what was going on.

"You can sit as well," she suddenly heard the woman speaking to her.

Nora nodded her head before sitting on one of the sofas next to her son. Her eyes glared at him for answers. But he still kept a straight face.

Jeremy noticed his mother's reaction but could only wait for his father to arrive. Then he could tell both of them.

About 10 minutes later,

Ron Night walked into the room. When he entered the living area, he was shocked by the powerful presence. He saw a stranger sitting on the sofa.

His gaze then fell on his son. Ron Night thought it could be someone from the university. Then he was still shocked at how the university could have such a powerful beast tamer.

He hadn't felt this level of sense of crisis before.

On the other hand, Jeremy Night saw his father and sighed in relief. He thought it would take longer. Fortunately, his father was there on time.

Then he said, "Father, come here and sit. I have something urgent to discuss with you and mother."

Ron Night was stunned. Then he collected his thoughts before giving a slight bow to the woman. Then he quickly sat beside his wife.

Gisela then nodded to Jeremy Night.

Jeremy Night said, "Father, Mother. This is Gisela Reyes, a Tier-7 Beast Tamer from the Shadow Moon Organization in the 10th zone."

"She has officially recruited me to her organization. I have signed the contract already."

"What?" Ron blurted out in shock.

Nora Night was dumbfounded. They felt as if a thunderclap had struck their heads. It took a couple of seconds to digest the information.

A hint of anger flashed in Ron's eyes. Even Nora was saddened as well. They never thought their son would make such an important decision without them.

Jeremy Night's expression was serious. He didn't want to disrespect them in any way.

Considering the dangers in City A and the threats he had faced so far, the only option left was to join the 10th zone organization.

Gisela noticed Jeremy's parents' reaction.

"Cough!"

She let out a cough, drawing their attention.

"Lord," Ron said in a polite tone.

Nora Night became serious as well. They almost forgot that a powerhouse was sitting with them.

Jeremy knitted his eyebrows.

Gisela said, "I can understand your anger. But both of you have no idea about your son's situation."

"If he continues to stay in this zone, he will die."

Boom!

The faces of Ron and Nora changed drastically. They stood up from their seats.

Even Jeremy was shocked to the core. This was the secret he had not told anyone. Then a look of understanding dawned on him.

With Team Leader Gisela's status, it was not difficult.

"Lord, what are you saying?" Ron asked.

"Does our son face any danger?" Nora uttered beside him.

"Sit," Gisela commanded.

Hearing that, they were stunned before sitting back down.

"Your son has made a number of enemies. The main ones belong to the families of the senior students. They disliked the STRIKER Department and wanted to shut it down."

"It can happen only if your son disappears; they had tried mercenaries to kill your son, but they failed."

"It's possible that they will try again next time. So your son's safety is not guaranteed here," Gisela explained in a calm tone.

Jeremy Night was surprised. He doubted whether she knew about the Goldcorp organization.

Ron and Nora Night were both terrified. They had been clueless about their son's situation all this time.
