Kakashi entered the main tent and saw the Jounin commander Shikaku Nara, along with the Yamanaka clan head Inoichi Yamanaka and Akamichi clan head Choza Akamichi.

Shikaku smiled upon seeing Kakashi's arrival and said to him, "Kakashi it is good seeing you arrive safely I received messenger hawk from lord Hokage not long ago, and he told me that your team was ambushed."

Kakashi smiled and nodded his head, then said to Shikaku, "Thank you, Shikaku-sama."

Shikaku nodded his head; he then said to Kakashi, "Have a seat, Kakashi; this is going to be a drag, but I need to explain to you what is happening right now."

Kakashi chuckled when he heard this; he then took a seat and started paying attention to what Shikaku was about to say.

"Lord Hokage has sent an envoy to Hidden Village in Grass to negotiate an alliance with them. I believe we will soon form an alliance with Hidden Village in Grass, and we will be able to force Iwa and Hidden Village in Waterfall to retreat if things go smoothly."

Kakashi was surprised when he heard this and asked, "Why are you so sure?"

Shikaku smirked and started explaining, "Because Lord Hokage had sent an ANBU team to destroy Iwa's supply base today, if everything goes according to plan, the supply base will be destroyed and Iwa will be forced to retreat."

After they finish planning, they all leave the tent and hold a meeting with all Konoha shinobi who are on night watch duty.
