Strongest Warlock - Wizard World Irregular

Chapter 1134: After Story 10: A Dream Come True [Part 2]

Princess Wilhelmina stared at the young man with tears streaming down her face.

Ethan held her gaze and kissed her forehead, then he wrapped his arms around her waist and pulled her into a tight embrace.

"I want you to stay by my side," Ethan said softly. "To share my happiness, my sadness, as well as the challenges that we will face in the future as a family. I know you have your reservations, but I realized I'm a very greedy and selfish person.

"I don't want to let you go and let you marry anyone else aside from me. You might not believe it, but I'm prepared to kidnap you if you refuse my proposal of marriage. That's how much I want to be with you."

Despite her tears, Princess Wilhelmina couldn't help but smile. There had been many times when she wished Ethan would sweep her off of her feet and take her away to a place where it would only be the two of them.

But she knew that the young man had many lovers, and they all loved him just as much as she did.

"Okay." Princess Wilhelmina nodded. "I will marry you. But you will have to convince my father first."

"Gladly," Ethan replied with a devilish smile on his face. "I'll make him agree no matter what."

"You're not allowed to use threats," Princess Wilhelmina said. "You're not allowed to use violence. Last but not least, you're not allowed to use your position as the Prince of Atlantis to convince him."

Ethan smiled faintly as he agreed to the beautiful princess' condition.

He then kissed her lips, not once, not twice, but five times, as if to make up for the hurt and the loneliness Princess Wilhelmina must've felt for the past few years while thinking of him.

Walking hand in hand, they went to the throne room so that Ethan could convince King Aenon to give him his blessing to marry his daughter.

"Wilhelmina, is this really what you want?" King Aenon asked. "Will this really make you happy?"

The mermaid princess nodded as she leaned on Ethan, using his body as support.

"Yes, Father," Princess Wilhelmina replied. "This is what will make me happy."

The King then shifted his attention to Ethan, who was looking back at him with a determined look on his face.

"Will you swear upon your life that you will make my daughter happy?" Prince Aenon inquired. "Will you swear upon your life that you will protect and love her, till death do you part?"

"I swear," Ethan replied. "I will do my best to make her happy."

"Very well." King Aenon nodded. "But know this, Prince Ethan. If you hurt my daughter and make her cry, I will declare war on you. I don't care if you are stronger or if your armies are far superior than ours—I will make you pay if Wilhelmina suffers by your side."

Ethan nodded. "When that time comes, I'll let you beat me up, Father, and I won't even fight back. That I swear to you."

Finally, a faint smile appeared on the King's face before reaching out his hand toward his daughter, who didn't hesitate to move to hug her father.

"Be happy," King Aenon said as he hugged his daughter tightly. "That is all I ask of you."

"Un." Princess Wilhelmina nodded.

On that day, the Aenon Kingdom declared Ethan's and Princess Wilhelmina's union.

The Crown Prince of the Kingdom of Felecia, Prince Orion, could only sigh after hearing the news.

He had figured the Princess already loved someone, but he didn't expect that the person she wished to spend her life with was the Prince of Atlantis.

Although he was sad and reluctant, he also knew he couldn't force her to marry him when her heart already belonged to someone.

With that, he went off on a journey to clear his head and forget the infatuation he felt for the Princess who almost became his bride.

———

After getting her parents' blessing, Ethan returned to Atlantis with Princess Wilhelmina.

"Took you long enough," Princess Illumina said as soon as he saw the two appear with fingers intertwined with each other. "Welcome to the family, Wilhelmina."

"Thank you, Illumina," Princess Wilhelmina replied.

Ethan's other lovers also congratulated the mermaid princess for becoming a part of their family.

That night, they held a feast to celebrate the occasion. The feast lasted until the late hours of the night.

As if they had unanimously come to an understanding, all of Ethan's lovers decided to leave the two alone so they could spend a memorable night together.

The young man took Princess Wilhelmina to his room, where they only planned to sleep together, and maybe talk about their relationship.

The moonlight streamed through the coral glass windows of the royal suite, casting rippling patterns on the walls like soft waves swaying to the rhythm of their hearts.

Ethan stood before Princess Wilhelmina, his breath shallow as his eyes took in the sight of her. Not just the curve of her form, but also the gentle strength in her gaze and the trembling anticipation in her smile.

He kissed her softly, which was only meant for a goodnight kiss.

At least, that was what he initially wanted to do.

But that single kiss ignited a small spark, kindling the years of yearning they felt for each other.

His hand brushed her cheek, hesitant at first but soon tender with conviction.

She leaned into it as if it were the first warmth she had ever known in her life, and Ethan's heart tremble to see her act this way.

The defenses he had set up in his heart slowly crumbled as he once again moved closer to kiss her a second time.

Soon, the rustling of clothes faintly echoed inside the room, not with urgency, but reverence.

Every motion between them felt sacred, unhurried, like a dance only they knew the steps to.

Princess Wilhelmina's fingers traced the lines of his chest, marveling at how something so strong could tremble under her touch.

He, in turn, brushed her long blonde hair aside, pressing his lips on her shoulder, then to the hollow of her throat, savoring her scent and marking her his.

The world outside their bedroom seemed to drift away, creating a haven just for the two of them.

Both of them hugged each other, skin to skin, hearts exposed, beating so fast that Princess Wilhelmina thought that it would jump out of her chest.

She cupped his face in both hands and whispered something in the language of Atlantis.

Words that made Ethan understand what she wished for, which he mutually felt.

As he lay her down gently on the bed, her hair spreading out of the white sheets like a waterfall, Ethan's heart couldn't help but skip a beat.

Princess Wilhelmina was breathtakingly beautiful, and he felt truly blessed that she loved him with all of her heart.

He lowered his head for a kiss, truly lovin the sensation of kissing her soft lips, which now belonged to him.

The young man then kissed other places, with each kiss a vow, and each sigh that escaped her lips a prayer.

There was no haste, no need to rush, for they had all the time in the world to profess their love to each other.

They had both waited far too long for this, and they didn't wish for it to end.

At least, not anytime soon.

Ethan kissed her for the umpteenth time, using actions to pass the message, which he wasn't able to do before.

His respect for her strength, his awe at her kindness, his wonder at the way she looked at him like he was more than a prince, more than a man, like a dream that was waiting to happen.

The night stretched endlessly before them, and yet it was never long enough.

Princess Wilhelmina's sighs and Ethan's whisper of love echoed faintly inside the room as they broke that final barrier and finally became one.

Their bodies moved in harmony, as if they had been crafted by fate to fit no one else but each other.

There was a gentleness in their rhythm, but also something primal, an ache that had long been waiting to be soothed.

Wilhelmina's fingers threaded through Ethan's hair as he held her close, the warmth of his touch drawing shivers from her skin.

Her soft moans were not cries of pleasure alone, they were confessions, fragments of a heart that had finally found its answer.

Each gasp was a melody of longing fulfilled, and every breath they took together was a quiet promise that neither dared to speak aloud.

Ethan's hands roamed her body with reverence, memorizing every curve and every delicate tremor.

Her body responded to him like the tides answering to the movement of the moon, pulled by something deeper than choice.

And with a grunt from her beloved, both of them found sweet release, as something warm filled her womb and heart, truly making her understand that she now belonged to him.

After panting for breath, their gazes met, locked in the dim light.

For a moment, everything else disappeared.

Time slowed, the world faded, and all that remained was the rhythm of hearts beating in unison.

In Princess Wilhelmina's eyes, Ethan saw not just desire but also trust, pure and unguarded.

She whispered his name, not with desperation, but with wonder, as if tasting it for the first time.

And he responded in kind, breathing her name like a spell he had waited his whole life to cast.

It undid him more than anything else, and before he knew it, he once again moved inside of her.

He was making sure that the dream that both of them had of holding their daughter in their arms would soon become a reality.

No words followed. None were needed.

Only the quiet rise and fall of their chests, the warmth of skin pressed to skin, and the tender weight of a shared promise that said…

We were finally where we belonged.

A few years later…

Princess Wilhelmina sat on the balcony of her room, humming a lullaby to her daughter, who was sleeping peacefully in her arms.

Sometimes, she would wake up in the morning, thinking she was only dreaming once more.

But seeing her daughter's chubby cheeks, her soft sleeper breaths, and the love she felt as she held her, the Mermaid Princess understood that this wasn't a dream but a dream come true.

Suddenly, she felt a presence behind her, making her smile faintly.

Soon, Ethan leaned down to kiss her cheek before whispering words of love to her and their daughter.

Some people didn't believe in fairy tales.

They didn't believe in happy endings.

But you know what?

Somewhere out there…

Deep under the sea…

A beautiful mermaid princess had found her happy ending, and so can you.
