Struggling as a Villain

Chapter 257- Wedding(1)

**BOOOOOOM**

A heavy explosion resonated as a figure was sent shooting down to the surface like a meteor.

The figure of a silver-haired male appeared in the sky, enraged.

With a burst of speed, he launched toward the man who just landed on the ground, and a big crack appeared on the surface.

With his fist coated with a silvery hue, Ethan landed the punch on Theodore's jaw, with enough force to snap the bone and plunge the male into the ground.

Theodore weakly tried to shoot a laser beam at Ethan to stop him. However, Ethan simply clutched his fingers and twisted them mercilessly.

*Crunch*

The reverberation of bones snapping was followed by a loud howl of agony.

Theodore was a fool to challenge the Emissary of Light head-on, and now, he was paying the consequences of mentioning Ethan's mother while mocking him.

"Cry like a little bitch!" Ethan spat as he held Theodore's head and hit the man with another bone-cracking punch.

**BOOOOM**

**THUD**

Ethan continued to punch the man and the cracks on the surface continued to expand.

The faces of the onlookers were pale. They wanted to stop this battle, which became one-sided brutality in no time, but seeing the Emissary and feeling his rage left them rendered motionless.

Suddenly, upon hearing the prayers of several apostles, a certain violet-haired girl appeared on the battlefield, "You won't be able to kill him, even if you want to."

Ethan's eyes shifted, his figure becoming blurred, and before the soldiers protecting Eleanor could respond, Eleanor was lifted off the ground.

Eleanor didn't react, even though it was barely possible for her to breathe when her beloved was choking her throat so harshly.

Ethan's eyes held no emotion other than animosity as he asked in contempt, "Want to see whether I can kill or not?"

Eleanor didn't give any reaction and even raised her hand to stop the soldiers. In the first place, they wouldn't have been able to save her even if they wanted to.

Ethan possessed all his memories and battle experience from his last life, and currently, he was practically impossible to defeat by any mortal.

Eleanor looked into his eyes fondly, before she said, "We both know that the Oath won't let you kill me...and even if you do, the Goddesses would bring me back to life. I am too important for them."

Ethan growled before throwing the girl away. He was disgusted just by looking at her.

"*Cough* *Cough*" Eleanor coughed as she landed on the ground.

Ethan clenched his fist and told her, "Once I fulfill my role, the only wish I would grant in exchange for my services, would be your demise. You are an unneeded existence, Eleanor."

Saying so, he darted away, leaving only a silvery trail behind.

Eleanor remained sitting on the ground, and shook her head when someone came to help her,

"Go and take care of Theodore first," She told them.

The soldiers looked hesitant but in the end, they listened to her command.

Eleanor remained seated there, on the ground for a few minutes. His fingers have left a mark on her neck, making it still slightly hard to breathe.

Her eyes turned moist just for a moment before she wiped them.

"Why do you approach him when you know he will hurt you?" Ruby suddenly appeared beside her. She saw the girl wiping her eyes, signifying that Ethan's words affected her.

Eleanor heaved a sigh, "You won't understand even if I tell you. So let's focus on something that you can understand."

Ruby rolled her eyes; sometimes, she believed that this girl was much older than her because of how she behaved. And sometimes, she believed that Eleanor was just trying to act tough.

"Has Rose been attending the training?" Eleanor asked as she began walking back to the headquarters.

After it was revealed that the world was heading toward a large-scale war and the role of the Apostles in it, Eleanor didn't find it difficult to make a headquarters in Eldora.

Ruby informed her, "It's a bit difficult; she cries often because of the harsh training. If possible, can you tell Aston to be a little less cruel to her?"

One of the greatest potentials among the Apostles is Ruby, who was born with the ability to create magic out of her imagination. She would be one of the greatest assets during the war, as such, Eleanor had put three instructors to train the girl.

That's why, "Let her suffer now so she doesn't suffer during the war."

Ruby heaved a sigh, "She will break before the war...have some mercy on the girl." It was heartbreaking for Ruby to see the girl weep every night and bandage her wounded hands.

Only she knew how difficult it was for her.

Eleanor paused, and turned to look at her, "If she can defeat Jessica in a duel, then I will remove Aston from the teaching unit."

Ruby's eyes widened, "Really?"

Eleanor didn't reply and just walked away.

Ruby exhaled a long breath, as she muttered, "I guess you aren't a complete inhumane."

Back in Dukedom, Richard was currently in a separate room, wearing a black suit with white shirt.

His mother was helping him with his hair, with a soft content smile on her face.

No one could have guessed that this same lady was fiercely kissing him while dominating him on the bed a few moments ago.

In her jealousy, she lost control over her emotions and demanded some attention before letting Richard marry.

"You look absolutely stunning today." Bellarine sighed in admiration, as she watched her baby, all grown up to be marrying his lover.

Richard smiled at the lady before saying, "It's all thanks to your genes."

Bellarine giggled, before someone knocked on the door, "The priest is waiting."

Richard took a deep breath, before saying, "Okay, Mom. See you in a bit."
