Chapter 263- Sudden news
It has been two weeks since the residents of Clion shifted to Earth. For the first ten days, they were given a place in the headquarters of the Crimson Clan since their new houses were under construction.
And on the eleventh day, the guests from the other world were shifted to their new hometown where they could live independently, with the familiar people belonging to the same world.
As Lena promised it only took a few days for the town to form. She even took the preference of the people and had the builders prepare the society just as they wanted.
Thanks to modern technology, the construction was done at a rapid pace, and within two weeks, more than thirty houses were standing within the premises.
The town was made far away from Vegas, on an island under the Crimson Clan's protection.
Originally, Lena planned to build it nearby to ensure the utmost security of the people; however, after talking to the guests, she found they preferred more greenery around them rather than dessert and sand.
And having their residence on an island would allow them complete isolation until they get used to living in this new world.
The town has the best security that the Crimson Clan has to offer. Along with that, it has all the facilities they could ever ask for—all kinds of shops, training grounds, help centers, hospital schools, and other amenities.
And the most heartwarming part, the small town was named after the world from where they came from.
Clion.

"This is beyond what I expected," Cristina muttered as she heaved a sigh.
She was granted a whole two-story house for herself since she used to live alone. However, even her mansion wasn't as big and well-furnished as this one.
She has already ventured around the house—her backside opens to green forest and tall hills. On the front was the street of the town, and the noise of a river flowing nearby.
"Well, you can invite a few to live together with you," Lilia suggested as she rested the tray of coffee on the table.
Cristina heaved a sigh, "I have always been so isolated that I find it quite difficult to make new connections now, all of a sudden."
Lilia smiled at her mother, "You used to be a talkative person...after Father's death, you stopped associating with people for fear of getting pitied and reminded of him again and again."
Cristina was rendered speechless...since what Lilia said was completely true.
After her husband's demise, she didn't like meeting people since she knew she would get hurt when they would talk about the past. Although she knew that they wouldn't say those things to hurt her...she just couldn't face it.
But maybe now, after so long, she can open up to others once again.
Taking a deep breath, she suddenly suggested, "Let's go for a walk?"
Lilia nodded, "First finish the coffee."

It wasn't the first time for the duo to walk like this. Naturally, as her mother, Cristina has spent time with her daughter leisurely in the past....but today, she seemed nervous about something.
As perceptive as ever, Lilia noticed the strangeness in her behavior but she remained silent and allowed her mother to collect her thoughts first.
Finally, after wandering around for ten or so minutes, Cristina said, "I...want to apologize...about that night. After thinking for a long time...I realized I might be harsh on you...and Richard."
At that time, Cristina was quite emotional and desperate to not let anything happen to Lilia. While she still doesn't want anything to happen to her, Cristina couldn't prevent Lilia from taking her life decisions.
And now the situation was, even if Lilia fought or not, there was a chance that she, along with everyone else who decided to side with Darkness, could perish.
"This is the last time when you will be worrying about my life," Lilia assured her.
"Well, I hope so."
Silence didn't persist for long before Lilia suggested, "If you...are free these days, can you do something for me?"
Cristina raised her brows, as she came to a pause, "Yeah, tell me." She really was too free these days and wanted to engage in some work.
"There are a few cadets who need to be trained. Richard wanted to ask you directly but he was hesitant."
"Why was he?" Cristina was surprised.
"He thought since you retired, it would be too much to ask you ..."
Cristina chuckled, "Considering the situation, I can't remain away from the battlefield." Narrowing her gaze, she added, "But I will surely take my charges."

"Do you like the house?" Amelia asked as she sat at the dining table while slicing the steak that the owner of the house had made.
"It's...too big for me." The girl has always served the Scarlette clan so she doesn't actually find the place too big. However, when considering she was the only occupant there, it made her feel weird.
Violet's parents refused to follow them because they were devout believers of Light. They could go against the Scarlette clan, which they have served for their lives if it comes to their religion.
However, Violet was different. For her Richard was her God...her religion. Anywhere he goes, she needs to follow him. Until she is alive, she will continue to serve him.
"Girl, you have dangerous thoughts about my husband." Amelia suddenly spoke, making Violet flustered
"N-No, I..."
Amelia chuckled, "Don't worry about that. Given how special you are to him, I don't mind i-." Amelia's eyes widened suddenly, as she covered her mouth and pushed back the chair.
"Lady Amelia?!" Violet exclaimed as suddenly, Amelia rushed out, toward the bathroom.
The blue-haired maid followed the lady to the bathroom, before the sound of her vomiting echoed.
Violet gently rubbed her back, as suddenly a smile bloomed on her face,
'Congratulations, young master.'
