Chapter 262- Strategy
"What is the date?" Lena asked as the important core members of the group sat in the conference room.
On the left were Elizabeth, Ben, Carl, and Rena. On the right, Lena, Jennifer, Howard, and Bellarine were sitting.
The rest were either training or were with their relatives, helping them settle down.
For obvious reasons, the meeting was recorded so it could be sent to other important people like Lilia and Bella.
Richard remained standing as he was responsible for answering their questions and preparing an immediate plan.
Thanks to the time difference between the two worlds, they have plenty of time to prepare.
"In two weeks, so like a year for us."
Bellarine's brows elevated, "Isn't that too soon for them? I mean, can they prepare for the catastrophic war in just two weeks?"
Richard nodded, "Unlike us, the Apostles have been told about the motive of their lives since the moment they awakened their Divine Essence. Unlike us, who have only one year to train and make teams and strategies, their strategy has already been formed by that person who has fought that war once before."
Eleanor was one annoying pest, but none of those who knew her could deny the fact that when it comes to brains, she is definitely one hell of a woman.
Even in the last life, she was the strategist of the team—all the planning and strategies were formed by her and the other three just went with her plans.
"Can Elizabeth and Nora tell us what Eleanor might be planning?" Howard asked since he was told that they once fought side by side with Eleanor. Discover exclusive tales on My Virtual Library Empire
The blond Princess shook her head, "Team changed, forces increased, she won't follow her pattern."
Richard assented, "That's right, Eleanor knows that Elizabeth and Nora could tell us about her usual pattern. I would be disappointed if she follows the same routine."
Bellarine spoke up, "But still, Elizabeth, I want you to write down all her basic formations, and thought process."
Elizabeth frowned, but then, she didn't deny and gave a nod, "All right."
Once that was settled, Bellarine asked, "What information did you get from the Death God, baby? How many Commanders are with us?"
In this battle, from Richard's side, most of the warriors come from Earth, and as of now, even a hundred Earthlings couldn't take down one apostle.
If the numbers had been equal on both ends, then this war would have favored the side of Light.
Richard has already received the response from the Demon Generals, so he told them, "Ithryx, Draeth, and Vornyx have responded to my demand to stand by our side. However, I haven't received any response from Thalvorn."
Rena voiced, "But isn't he the weakest General? Wouldn't it be okay if we don't have him?"
That question was answered by Ben, "We are already short on quality warriors...as such it's necessary to have the participation of all the four Generals."
Richard nodded, "And considering his control over two worlds, his armies would be quite beneficiary during the war. We need him."
Once the information was shared, Richard went to the battle formation.
"We need to divide the forces into three units while keeping more than twice the active members waiting as backup."
Lena agreed, "We have the numbers, and now that you are the ruler of the world, you can command them as you want."
Richard was the new ruler of Earth—he could use his power to call forth each and every awakened to serve him. A lot of them might not agree, for example, the Asian Alliance, but once the threat of complete Aembr removal would be sent out, they would be left with no option.
However, Richard had different thoughts, "We cannot trust humans, who aren't a part of the Crimson Clan. They will get their interest and selfish greed mixed in this war, and that would make us face two different sides at once."
Richard was, once a citizen of Earth, so he knows what the ugliness of politics and greed were. Where the residents of Clion were fighting for their motherland, the earthlings would think of their interests first.
"Richard is right, we cannot trust those who have only lived for their own desires," Bellarine added, which ushered Jennifer to ask,
"Then won't we be completely outweighed? I mean, the quantity was on our side..."
Bellarine assured others, "It still is." As she got up, she urged Richard to sit down, and the teenager complied with her wordless request.
The ex-Duchess tapped on the screen terminal, which showed six graphs—the names of each category were ranks, starting from F.
Most of them belonged in the four bottom ranks, and in total the number summed to eight million.
"These are the number of monsters present on earth, belonging to different ranks. If we rule out the weaker ones, and only take above B-rank, we still have two hundred thousand beasts in hand."
Carl raised his brows, "Umm...how is this information useful to us?"
Bellarine grinned, "I think you don't get it, brat. The fuel running in their veins is not just blood but Aembr as well."
Carl was still confused, and so was Jennifer, when suddenly, Ben cleared all their doubts,
"And that Aembr comes from none other than brother Richard. Brilliant."
At the same time, those who didn't understand until now directed their eyes toward Richard.
Richard had his hands crossed on his chest as he voiced, "I can easily make connections with them and command them to join the battle...but mother, would it be fine using all the resources of earth residents?"
The Ambrobates were a major resource for the humans living on Earth. And if suddenly all the high-ranking ones disappear...it would surely cause chaos.
Bellarine rested her hands on the table, and while looking at Richard seriously, she conveyed, "If we lose this war, Richard, Earth would perish. So right now, we should focus on the war rather than others' needs."
That information made Carl and Jennifer flinch while Lena and Rena shared a frown.
"Earth...will perish?" Jennifer mouthed, only for Elizabeth to explain,
"This whole planet is filled with Ambrobates, so surely, once we lose, the apostles would launch an all-out attack to completely wipe out Earth."
Richard heaved a sigh, he might have grown a little too considerate about the people after becoming their new ruler.
"I understand, Mom." He cannot risk participating in war without his full strength.
