Chapter 774: Chapter 768: Start Splurging, Start Being Prodigal (Part 2)

“Your Highness, it’s all done.” After a few minutes, Violet Davis looked up and said.

“Very well, now destroy all the surrounding villas for me, will you? I don’t need so many houses.” Finn Lewis stated indifferently.

Violet was stupefied, “Destroy them?”

“Yes, destroy them.” Finn Lewis succinctly nodded his head.

“Why this… why, Your Highness?” Violet really couldn’t help but ask. Wasn’t this simply throwing money away? These rented properties needed to be returned to the school. If he didn’t like them, he could simply not live there—especially considering how far they were. Why would he destroy them?

“No reason, I just don’t like so many houses. Isn’t it nice to plant some vegetation?” Finn Lewis shook his head and said, grinning.

“Planting vegetation…” Violet’s mouth twitched continuously. She really didn’t know how to comment on His Highness anymore. He destroyed the original real estate, and then planted vegetation instead. Didn’t he know that when returned to the school, he’d have to restore the houses?

“This should be alright, right? I remember the lease stipulates that, once I rent the houses, both they and their surrounding areas belong to me. I can do as I wish, and the school doesn’t interfere. As long as I restore everything to its original state upon my departure, there wouldn’t be an issue, right?” Finn Lewis asked seemingly uncertainly.

“This… Yes, Your Highness, you can do anything you want on this property.” Violet felt she was losing her sanity. Wasn’t this burning money?

“Good, then have all the houses destroyed for me. Oh, also, get rid of all the trees as well. I’ll have Luna Starfield give you a list. Plant according to this list. As for that hill over there, I think Narusul’s red yews are nice. Plant a hill’s worth of them. An entirely red view should look good.” Finn Lewis stated with feigned seriousness.

“Red yew?! Narusul?! Your Highness, are you sure you want to plant a whole hill of them?” Violet’s mouth hung wide open. Narusul belonged to the White Family, one of the largest royal families in the Galactic Federation. It was a well-known tourist planet throughout the Federation, famed for a unique tree called the red yew.

The leaves of the red yew grew like crystals, very beautiful. Additionally, when the leaves fell, the moisture inside them evaporated rapidly along with a special element, turning the leaves into red sparkles that dissipated into the air as pure energy, providing significant benefits to the human body.

Most importantly, the red yew was very beautiful. As a mature red yew grew to a certain age, even its bark was like jade, crystal clear, presenting a faint reddish hue. It looked incredibly dreamlike. Especially when a large patch of red yews were planted together, the sight was absolutely fantastical.

But these weren’t the main point. Red yews were also sold on Narusul, but a single tree cost a whopping 500 star credits! If an entire hill were to be planted with red yews, how many would be needed? Furthermore, just the transportation costs to get red yews here, let alone the costs to keep them alive, would, at minimum, double the price. That is to say, at least 1,000 star credits would be needed to successfully transplant a red yew.

You’re telling me now you want to cover an entire hill with them? That would involve tens of thousands, even hundreds of thousands of trees.

“Indeed. And I don’t want any below 30 years of age. You go figure out the cost. I want the work on this to start tomorrow, and for it to be completed within half a month. Any issues?” Finn Lewis straightforwardly asked.

Narusul was not far from here and accessible via a single warp jump. Half a month was definitely sufficient time. But wouldn’t this all cost money?

“No issues…” Violet nodded, dazed.

“Okay, moreover, remove all the plants from my hill. I’ll move out in the next few days. My cargo spaceship will transport transplants from my territory. My wife would be unhappy if she didn’t see a familiar landscape. She would miss home, so I want this place to be adorned with plants similar to those back home,” said Finn Lewis as he pointed at the hill under his feet.

Subsequently, Finn Lewis arranged for the plants on all the surrounding hills to be replaced, leaving Violet entirely stupefied. Her mind was overloaded, and she began to process the matter according to his instructions subconsciously. Finn Lewis gave some guidance, and Luna Starfield issued the remaining instructions.

Violet’s task was to record Finn Lewis’ orders using her personal smart device and calculate the costs. About an hour later, Finn Lewis stopped speaking. He turned to look at Violet and asked, “Have you finished recording?”

“All recorded.” Violet nodded mechanically.

“Have the costs been worked out? Give me the total,” Finn Lewis said, nodding in approval.

Upon hearing Finn Lewis’ question, Violet instinctively lowered her head to look at her personal smart device. After seeing the figure displayed, her eyes widened in astonishment. Her mouth hung open in an O shape as a stunned look spread over her face.

“Why are you spacing out? How much is it?” Finn Lewis asked, looking at her.

“Your… Your Highness… The total… total is… 10.7 billion… star… star credits.” Violet uttered a horrifically large and terrifying figure—10.7 billion star credits, amounting to a whole 1 trillion Federal coins. Was he ready to spend such an astonishing number just to make his temporary residence more comfortable?

Moreover, if this were Finn Lewis’ house, it wouldn’t be too surprising. But this was just a rental property for school. The word “extravagant” couldn’t begin to describe it… he was simply a prodigal spender.

Violet’s brain was in a whirl. 1 trillion Federal coins, enough to buy several planets. And for what? Just to decorate his residence?

“Alright, I’ll give you 12 billion star credits. You deal with this matter and ensure everything is handled well, understand? For this, get in touch with Star Bank. If your calculations are 10.7 billion credits, I’ll give Star Bank 11 billion to undertake the project. But there’s a condition: all of it must meet my standards. If it fails to meet them, I won’t hesitate to find someone else for
