Hugo leaned back on his bed, staring at the glowing SPIN button with wide, crazed eyes.

Now that he'd decided to spin again, there was no hesitation left in him—only the pure, unadulterated thrill of the unknown.

The rush of winning so many epic grade rewards back to back had lit a fire in his heart, and he couldn't help but grin wildly.

As his finger hovered over the button, a funny thought popped into his head: 'Is this how gambling addicts feel? Am I becoming one?'

For a moment, he pictured himself in a casino, surrounded by flashing lights and slot machines, yelling, "One more spin!" while his system taunted him with prizes he couldn't afford.

"Nah," he said, shaking his head. "I'm not a gambling addict. I'm just… strategically leveraging my resources! That's completely different!"

He would surely know when he was addicted, wouldn't he?

With that self assured justification, Hugo pressed the SPIN button with more excitement than was probably healthy.

The Advanced Gift Box Wheel sprang to life, its bright colours swirling faster and faster, practically hypnotising him.

"Alright, Hugo," he muttered, his voice trembling with anticipation. "This is it. Lady Luck's been good to you so far. Don't mess this up."

He squeezed his eyes shut, unable to bear the suspense. His heart pounded in his chest like a drumline at a rock concert, each second feeling like an eternity.

100 points was at stake. He had to either go big or go bigger!

Then, finally, he heard it:

[DING!]

The sound of destiny.

Hugo's eyes fluttered open, and he squinted at the glowing text on the screen. His breath caught as he read the words:

[Host has received Epic Grade Mastery Points Voucher!]

For a moment, Hugo didn't react. He just stared at the screen, unblinking, as if his brain couldn't quite comprehend what he was seeing. Then it hit him all at once.

"AAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH!"

He bolted upright, clutching his head as if it might explode. "ANOTHER EPIC GRADE?! ME?! AGAIN?! WHAT IS HAPPENING?!"

Hugo leapt to his feet, spinning in circles as a wave of manic energy took over him. He threw his hands into the air, belting out a makeshift victory song:

"I'm the son of heaven! The system's favourite boy! Luckiest in the universe! Oh yeah, oh yeah, oh YEAH!"

It was really too unbelievable. Even Hugo himself couldn't believe that his luck would be that good!

He danced around the room like a lunatic, stopping only to point dramatically at the system screen. "6 epic grade rewards in one night! I'm unstoppable! I'm invincible! I'm—"

He paused, tilting his head in sudden confusion. "Wait. What the hell is a Mastery Points Voucher?"

Scratching his chin, Hugo started pacing as he formulated theories. "Okay, let's think. Theory one: It's a coupon that gives me a discount on mastery points. That'd be lame, but useful."

He shook his head, rejecting the idea. "Nah, the system wouldn't be that stingy with an epic grade reward."

"Alright, theory two: It's like a ticket that gives me bonus mastery points whenever I spend system points on them. That could be cool… but still not epic grade worthy."

He tapped his temple, his excitement bubbling over. "Theory three: It's a straight-up chunk of mastery points. Like, BOOM, here you go, Hugo! Enjoy becoming OP!"

Which one did he want? Bah! Of course it was the last one! Gimme it!

Unable to wait any longer, he opened the item description with trembling hands. The words appeared on the screen, and Hugo's jaw dropped:

[Mastery Points Voucher: Redeemable for 200 Mastery Points.]

Hugo froze. Then he screamed.

"200?! TWO HUNDRED?! THAT'S… THAT'S INSANE!"

He fell back onto his bed, clutching his chest like he'd just run a marathon. He couldn't breathe, he couldn't think, he couldn't see!

For a solid minute, all he could do was gasp for air, too overwhelmed to process the magnitude of what he'd just won.

When he finally caught his breath and regained his senses, Hugo's thoughts spiralled into overdrive.

"Do you know how valuable this is?! Ten Mastery Points cost 1,000 System Points. This voucher is worth… TWENTY. THOUSAND. POINTS!"

He started laughing—no, cackling—like a mad scientist unveiling his latest invention. He laughed so much tears fell from his eyes.

The sound echoed through his room, and for a brief moment, Hugo felt like the king of the world.

Then, just as quickly, he snapped into serious mode, his expression suddenly contemplative.

He looked like a billionaire heir in a board of directors impromptu meeting...

"Alright, Hugo. Focus. How do we spend this? Do I max out my Kissing Mastery and Mesmerising Gaze? Or… do I buy more mastery slots and spread the points evenly?"

He sat cross legged on the bed, staring at the glowing voucher in his inventory as if it were the Holy Grail.

Minutes passed as he weighed his options, his mind flipping back and forth like a ping-pong ball.

This was a very important decision, he could choose to go all out and become a kissing god with a gaze even more intense than Chris Brown's, or he could choose to spread his talent into other diverse areas!

It was a very important decision!

Finally, he let out a long sigh. "No. Not now. I need to strategise. Plan. This is too important to waste on impulse decisions."

Satisfied with his resolve, Hugo tucked the voucher away and turned his attention back to the wheel. His heart raced with anticipation as he eyed the SPIN button.

"One more," he whispered, his grin returning. "Just one more. Let's keep this streak alive!"

Without hesitation, he hit the button again, the wheel lighting up like a festival. As it spun, Hugo leaned forward, his eyes gleaming with hope and excitement.

"Alright, wheel," he muttered. "Don't let me down. Give me something good!"
