Tensura: The First Hybrid

Currently I am sitting on top of a hill watching the beautiful scenery and the Sun rising.

It's been ten days since I woke up. Since then, I have been collecting information about this world and the place I am in. The information I found so far are-

1. This is a world called Cardinal world and we are currently in the Central universe of the Cardinal world.

There is a high possibility that my previous world was one of the small worlds far away from Central world but still was part of Cardinal world.

2. I am in a place called Divine Ancestor's facility. It's the place where all the races are created and than left all over the multiverse to populate themselves.

3. Beings in the Central world are thousands or even millions of times stronger than the beings in my previous world. Even an average human of Central world can easily defeat the strongest human in Earth.

4. The whole Cardinal world is being controlled and maintained by a system called VOTW. It manages skills, life, death, reincarnation, etc. It's the same strange and inorganic voice I heard while dying.

5. There are several races and culture that loves and protects others but at the same time, there are several beings who kill and annihilate other races just for fun. They are called Primordial demons, Demons, True dragons, True giant, Dragons, Chimera, etc.

6. I am no longer a human or more precisely, I am ten percent High-human, ten percent Arch-dragon, twenty-five percent Arch-angel, twenty-five percent Arch-demon and thirty percent High-vampire.

Yeah, I am a Hybrid. I am the first Hybrid to exist and at the same time the last Hybrid to ever exist.

7. One person can only have one Unique skill and if they are extremely talented and powerful than two but no one can have a Unique skill from birth...Yeah, I am an anomaly.

8. An Unique skill is a power bound to one through soul. Thus, having more than one can put a toll on soul and can potentially harm the wielder.

9. There is a Demon Lord...A FREAKING DEMON LORD!! *sigh* I don't know much about them cause everyone inside the facility refused to tell me about it.

These are all the information I gathered while being researched on and monitored by everyone in facility. These might not be enough for me to go back to Earth but it's still enough to survive somehow.

I gotta accept that this world is pretty fascinating compared to my previous world.

"Ah! So you are here. Sir Twilight has been looking for you." One of the helpers said while walking towards me. He is from one of the races Ancestor created, the Elven race.

"Yes, I will go to meet him in a while. For now, come and sit here." I signalled him to sit beside me. "Look, how beautiful the mother nature is." I said while looking down the hill.

The sun was shining brightly, the lake behind the facility was reflecting the light and making the whole place even more beautiful. The birds were chirping sweetly, a five meters long purple snake was eating a two meters huge bull.....

"Now that I think about it, let's go back. Sir Twilight must be waiting for me."

"Okay...?"

A world where five meters long snakes roam around freely? Yeah no, I gotta find a way to go back...As soon as possible!

I started to head inside the facility. It was just as usual, researchers taking notes on all of my actions and recording my words right after seeing me, helpers either cleaning the facility or helping the researchers in their other works.

Its so annoying to be watched all the time. But I am used to it. During my time as a celeb, dealing with hundreds of paparazzis was a common day thing. Compared to that, this all is nothing.

"Oh~ so you are here, my darling~" Twilight said from behind.

"Yes. So? Why were you looking for me?" I asked him in a neutral tone.

He might be annoying and all but he is still taking care of me and protecting me from dangers, I have to be a little nice to him.

"Yes~ you see, while I was stuck crea-" Twilight was about to start his monologue.

Nah, I take that back.

"Get to the point." I said annoyed by his blabbering.

"Okay~ Today we are going somewhere."

Maybe, I should've listened to his blabbering. Now I don't know where we are going... Wait, we?

"What do you mean by we? Am I also going with you?" I asked surprised. This would be the first time I will go outside the facility grounds.

"Yes, we. Now, get ready, our ride must be arriving soon."

"Wait, you mean now?" I asked surprised.

You must be kidding me. It isn't like I hate the idea of going out but right now?

"Yes, right now. You don't need to change your clothes, as those are good enough." Twilight said while writing something down in his note.

These clothes? Nah, I used to be a famous actor with millions of fans all over Japan and hundreds of millions, all over the world. But now, now I will go out in this lab coat... It's not like I have a choice.

I resigned to my fate and just accepted it.

"Okay. Where are we going though?" I asked him to know more about it. He looked at me once, than turned his attention to his notes and started to write again.

Is he..? Yes, yes he is ignoring me.

"Don't ignore me dammit!" I let out in an angry tone. 'So this is how you act, when you are angry huh?' He murmured something while looking at me, then once again started writing in his note.

Is he noting how I act when I am angry or annoyed?

"*Sigh* So, when are we leaving?" I said while trying to calm my anger.

Hmm? He looks... disappointed?

"Let's go, now." He said while putting his notes away.

"Okay, let's go." As soon as I said that, I noticed a small smile on his face but it soon disappeared. I have seen him smile and laugh several times but that...that was a genuine smile of happiness.

Are we going somewhere special? He looks unusually happy and cheerful.

Thinking that, I exited the facility gates with him. After we got out of the facility gates and reached an open area, we started to wait for the carriage...

"ROOAARRR!"

A FREAKING DRAGON?!! Are we about to ride that thing? S-so coooooll!! "Ar-are we about to ride that thing?" I asked in an excited tone.

"Yes, it's a 'Wyvern'. Compared to an Arch-dragon, it's speed is slow but it will do the work for now." Twilight said.

It landed with a loud roar and flapped it's wings which blew a huge gust of wind.

So cool!! *Ahem*

"Okay, let's go." He said while taking a huge leap and jumping atop the drago- I mean Wyvern's back.

"Okay." I said while climbing the dragon through it's leg, then it's lower back and lastly it's back.

"Wow, it's scales and spines are so beautiful." I said in amazement. After I got comfortable, I started to look at the back of the Wyvern in amaze but once I looked towards Twilight...

He was noting everything from my expression to my words...

It's creepy...

"Le-let's go." I said a bit creeped out. After putting his notes away, he signalled the Wyvern to move. As soon as he signalled it, the Wyvern started to flap it's wings.

After flapping it's wings just once, we were already above the skies...

What kind of gravity defying wings are these?

"How..?" I let out in confusion and surprise.

"Oh? You noticed it? That's a surprise." Twilight said in a genuine surprise.

"Well, let me explain it to you. You see, these wings of it's-" Twilight said while signalling towards the wings of the Wyvern.

"They have a special effect or more precisely a skill. It's called 'Gravity flight'. It's a pretty common skill for dragons, as they use it to fly and travel from one place to another in a fast speed but with less strength or energy consumption." Twilight finished.

Gravity flight, huh? That's a pretty convenient skill if you ask me.

"You said, it's a Lesser-dragon called Wyvern right?" He nodded in confusion but anticipation of my next question.

"Then what's an Arch-dragon? The one you used to make my physical body."

"Oh, that? Well to answer your question and to satiate your curiosity, let me explain it from basics, as we have too much time till we reach our destination." He said while putting the notes down in which he was writing everything about me from what I said to what I did.

"Beings like Dragons or Demons and Angels have a similar evolution path. I will explain the dragons and at a later date, other two.

So, the first being Lesser-dragons, they are the ones who are recently born or are in their first stage of evolution. They mostly live in their nests or roam around their nests, under the protection of elders.

Second being Greater-dragons, they are young-adult's who have lived for a century or so and can protect themselves. This is their second evolution stage. They usually protect the nest from outer dangers.

Third being Arch-dragons, they are adults with the experience of several centuries. This is the third stage of evolution a dragon can have normally. They mostly rule the nest or roam the world freely.

Last being Dragon-Lords, they are strongest among Dragon-kins and can fight a Demon lord seed or Hero seed on equal footing. They don't usually live in nest but rather roam the world to find worthy opponents to fight.

One can only become Dragon-Lord if they have a name but there are cases of few becoming without one.

The one we currently are riding is a Lesser-dragon but due to mutation, it became a special case with strength on par with an average Greater-dragon." Twilight finished.

Hmm, so a Dragon lord can fight a Demon lord seed and Hero seed on par huh?...wait, seed? What's that?

"What's Demon lord seed or Hero seed? Are they different from Demon lord are Hero?" I asked him confused.

"Well, you see. Demon lord seed is a term that refers to beings who have the power and potential to become a Demon lord but haven't met the requirements yet.

Same goes for Heroes as well, they are strong enough to be called Heroes but haven't met the requirements to be one yet." Twilight explained.

Demon lord seed and Heroes seed, huh? But if they are called seeds, then wouldn't the real Demon lord get offended if someone called them with the same or similar title?

"Is there something that you didn't understand?" Twilight asked me in an amused tone.

"Wouldn't the real Demon lord get offended if people called both the seed and the real one with the same or similar title?" I asked him the question that was bugging me.

"Ku fufufu aren't you one curious fellow?" I suddenly heard a voice from my left side, opposite to where twilight was.

What the hell?! A guy(?) with crimson long hair reaching his back and wearing a black jacket that wasn't doing its job and revealing his chest for everyone to see, black pants and gray-black shoes with lots of necklaces at his neck, was flying beside us.

Who is he? When I looked towards Twilight, he looks angry. He is so angry that his fangs and nails grew and now were visible. Why is he so angry? Who is that red-head? Do they have some animosity?

"What are you doing here, you barbaric fool?"

Wow, that's the first time I am seeing him so pissed.

"Come on now Twilight, don't be such an a*s-hole." That red-head said in a carefree tone.

"I was about to show my masterpiece to lord Veldanava first but now...now, you ruined it!" Twilight said in an angry tone.

Wow now, I am not someone's masterpiece or anything.

"Hmm? So, the rumours were true, huh? Is this your masterpiece? He...she...? Hey, what are you?"

"I don't have either a pole or a hole. I am not anything." I said with a perfect poker face.

It hurts to say it though...

"Pfft-AH HAHAHAHAHA What the hell? Is this what you call your masterpiece, Twilight? 'It' doesn't even have a gender. PHUA HAHAHAHAHA!"

I-i want to cry...so badly. I hope your cucumber gets blown off, you piece of crap...

"My masterpiece doesn't need such trivial things like gender or anything!" Twilight said while huffing.

I want it though...

"Other things aside, why are you here?" Twilight asked with a serious tone.

"Do you remember that Chimera thingy you released two decades ago?"

Chimera...hmmm...?

"Yes, it was one of the failures I had while creating my masterpiece. What's up with it?" Twilight asked not caring one bit about it.

"Well you see, that thing has recently destroyed a huge civilization of humans and elves." Red-head said something very-very serious and concerning.

"And?"

Bro, at least act like you care. That red-head is looking at you like he will strangle you to death.

"*Sigh* Look Twilight, I will say this one last time. Take care of your darn wastes before I come at that little lab of yours and shut it down, myself!"

Yeah, he is serious.

"Nope~ It's your job to take care of such threats not mine~"

Is he? Yup, he is testing red-head's limits. I wouldn't do that if I were you.

"Look here you little sh*t, I won't repeat this again. Make sure that there are no more wastes like that coming from that place of yours or else I swear on my name that I will destroy your whole facility and kill you in the most gruesome and horrifying way."

Red-head got no chill at all.

"Fufu~ Oka-y~"

Yup, he is officially dead.

But before the red-head could do anything, we see something horrifying.

A monster with two black and two white wings having human body but with a wolf's head and a giant snake like tail. On closer look, it had webbed fingers and a fin on its back like a fish.

It was rampaging and killing several humans right below us in a small village.

"Hoh? It reached here huh?" Red-head said almost amused.

"What's that?" I asked to no one in particular.

"That's one of the failures from my experiments while creating you. I named it 'Chimera'." Twilight explained nonchalantly.

"Is that the one who destroyed half the facility before I was born?"

"Unfortunately, yes." He said in an annoyed tone.

Hmm? Why is he looking at me like that?... Why is he approaching me suddenly?...Huh?....

...

"AHHHHHHHH!!! DAMN YOU TWILIGHT!!!"

That bastard! He pushed me off the Wyvern's back. I am falling at a very fast speed. If I crash at this speed than I will definitely die.

"AHHH!! SAVE ME!!" I yelled while falling down.

I am about to crash!

I closed my eyes in fear but... It feels weird... It's as if my hands are moving... When I opened my eyes, I saw two wings flapping.

Are these my wings?

Wow, Great sage! You are a life saviour! But what are these wings? Are they mine?

Yes, thank you Great sage! To think he will just push me off that Wyvern's back...ugh, for now let's focus on landing and getting as less damage as possible while crashing...it's here, get your feets at the bottom, tighten the tissues, control the breathing and...

"THUD!" A loud thud was heard all over the place alongside a huge gust of wind and a wall of dust.

Ugh...? It didn't hurt...at all...Why?

Oh, so that's why huh? Even if I didn't feel pain, I still took damage but, isn't that damage a bit less? I mean, I was way above hundred meters hight. Shouldn't I take way too much damage? Is it because of my physical body?

Hoh? Isn't that something? Even the fall from such height couldn't hurt me that much. Fu fufufufufu I love this body of mine.

Hmm? My senses are telling me to flee or hide? Why though?

When I looked back, I saw that Chimera looking at me with hostility...Oh boy...
