The Almighty King Reincarnated

For Xero, erasing memories was something he had always done whenever situations like that got serious. 

Erasing the memories of the event entirely was kind of risky in his opinion, but erasing parts of it would leave a lasting impression on the target. And that could help him to slip under the radar. 

Unfortunately, Xero could not choose the memories he wanted to replace. 

Afterwards, Misaki couldn't even accurately describe the ins and out of the matter, she had completely forgot that he was the one to save her. 

And not to mention that, "Divine Godly Buddha Lotus" was a one of a kind skill! It would take a normal cultivator a decade to learn that! 

And so, Monday morning at school, Xero could clearly hear how the students were gossiping and whispering about the situation. 

Although, nobody actually knows who defeated the assassins. But the story spread like wildfire, and most schools in the area had heard about it. 

Little Bastard: "Yo! I heard, on Saturday during Misaki's date with Xero, they were followed by assassins!" 

Han Jue: "Hey, I had heard that Xero and Misaki were followed by assassins last Saturday, and then, a powerful cultivator managed to defeat them and save their lives!"

Zhen Jie: "I had heard that Misaki and the value 7 were followed by assassins!"

Toad Head: "The powerful cultivator that emerged was most definitely credited with act!"

Li Xinyan: "I heard that Misaki and Xero were followed by two men in black, and that a powerful cultivator emerged and dismantled them!" 

Mr Birdie: "I heard that Xero and Misaki were followed by two delinquents!"

Ling Tian: "I heard that Misaki and Xero were bombarded by assassins!" 

"I heard—"

Xero: "You guys, I get it already!" 

And just like that, that exceptionally "powerful" cultivator was never explicitly named.

While we're on the term 'gossip', one teacher in particular — history and maths teacher, Sheng Zixuan had a reputation for his way of gossiping. He was the second teacher of Class Advanced 1-B and was a fatass on display, and he was nicknamed Ancient Relic. 

Teacher Sheng Zixuan was nicknamed Ancient Relic because he knew an awful lot about cultivation history and openly gossiped about it with students. 

And while he was on it, he obtained another nickname! Immortal Ancient Gossip! 

And for the time being, he was a widely respected teacher at No. 90 Cultivation High. And he had a brilliant way of making students laugh and be attentive in class because of his gossip. 

He would often do this to boost the atmosphere in class if it got too boring. 

And classes with him were never dry, and even if some students zoned off in class, they would eventually be woken up by the laughter of other students. 

But unfortunately for them, there were only two history classes per week. 

As a result, students from other classes like, 'ordinary and elite' would be bummed off if they didn't have history class. And even if they did, the second the bell rang, students would sit attentively in their seats waiting for the hamburger muncher to stomp into the damn classroom. 

"Last week, we were watching 'Ancient Cultivation History TV Episode 8', so we'll continue from that. By the way, I haven't had breakfast this morning so if my nose even detects smell of bread or food, I will personally devour it and munch while smacking in front of your face. So watch out." 

Poor guy, didn't have breakfast this morning, that last part was just evil! 

Hearing that Ancient Relic didn't have anything for breakfast, some students hurriedly rushed over and handed over their lunch like dogs offering food to their owner. Weren't they concerned about the last part?! 

"What the hell! A teacher can't be munching while teaching, isn't that integrity? Pretty sure that's against the rules!" 

"Well here's the thing… I don't care." He said while munching on a sandwich, he had to take a quick pause to swallow! 

He even took a pack of dougan and ate it without a care in the world whilst saying, "It's just my way of living, so deal with it!" 

This was the typical way of "deal with it" except with bold words. 

Munching on dougan whilst teaching, the thought of it is diabolical! 

"Alright, about last class. Does anyone have any questions?" He said, while leaning on the dais, he even licked his fingers! Freaky bastard. 

A student raised their hand, "Teacher, I couldn't quite understand Page ten and eleven from the history book last week." 

"Then let's review it. Everyone please turn your pages to Page ten." 

Every student in the room brought out their books, and did exactly as told. 

"Page ten… this has to do with the ancient cultivators love life. Cultivators in that age didn't have wives because they were practicing so much, and cultivation masters went their whole lives without any partners."

"Page eleven, this has to do with History TV shows, 'Ancient Cultivator History TV' was one of them."

"Page twelve, this has to do with harem culture and shows. Although, some of them are scandalous, their titles are deceiving — so whatever you do… Don't watch this on your family TV." 

"Page thirteen, this has to do with cultivation phases and how they've progressed over the years." 

"Page fourteen, this covers ancient scrolls that have been long preserved."

"All of them that I just mentioned are important points in this unit chapter, so make sure to take notes." 

By the time he even said all that, he had already finished a whole pack of dougan no difficulty! A f*cking veteran. He took out some tissues to clean the oil out of his hand. "Alright, now let's cover the story of the 'Castle Princess and the Angel.'"

Before he began, students were already applauding and praising him. 

"Amazing Brother Xuan!" 

"So good! I would let you stomp on my face!"

"Spit on me—"

Teacher Sheng Zixuan's light cough made the entire class go silent. And immediately not a single voice except his was heard. 

"So as you know, the story of the Castle Princess and the Angel is a widely spread belief and legend that occurred in the second century, which was when cultivation had not made its grand entrance into the world yet. However, some are skeptical of this legend with some scrolls detailing apostles and scribes mentioning that it was a fabricated story, and it was actually the devil." 

In that instant, everyone was suddenly even more interested! 

Zhen Jie raised his hand, "Wait, Brother Xuan, does that mean the story entirely is fake?" 

"Yes, that could be a possibility… However! The story has been partially proved to be true by researchers. But the angel part is not widely accepted as fact. This story actually occurred at Mount Sage which is near Garden of Lotuses. It is the oldest mountain in our world today." 

"So we'll start with the princess's background. A low born, despised by her family. She was wretched and treated unevenly compared to her brother who was the prince. Her family had believed that the future prince would be the one to lead the throne, so any mentions of princess was immediately dismissed. But one day, while she was at the Garden of Lotuses, she encountered an angel, who instructed her to pray to the above and accept them, and to find the seven emeralds. When her family found out about this, she got killed but eventually ascended to heaven but she had found all of the emeralds, which had been scattered across the world. Giving rise to multiple TV shows with the documentary. Alright, that's enough for Princess Lin."

As Ancient Relic finished… Immediately, thunderous applause was heard. 

"Splendid words, Brother Xuan!" 

Most students mood had been lifted, and they were astounded by the history and theories Zixuan had presented. 

The princess is a real one! Going around the world to find all several emeralds is just crazy work.
