The Backbender (Avatar: The Last Airbender)

Boom!

The water around the beast exploded as he charged at Kanuk, intending to swallow him whole. Kanuk panicked, and he swam up, barely dodging the beast. 

Swoosh!

Ice spears rained down on the beast as Kanuk turned around and attacked its unguarded back, or that is what he thought.

Boom!

The ice spears exploded as a massive water tornado was created around the beast. Its eyes had intelligence inside, and it could think. It was different from animals and beasts.

'This fucking beast had intelligence?! Is it a fucking turtle lion of some shit?' Kanuk felt like his hope of victory was getting smaller and smaller with each attack.

!

'What's it doing? What's it holding?' Kanuk watched as the squid clapped its tentacles together. The water around it started swirling and condensing into the space between its tentacles.

Swoosh!

Kanuk's eyes widened as a small beam of water penetrated his stomach. The beast narrowed its eyes at his victory, seemingly full of joy at beating its opponent.

Kanuk started floating down towards the deep ocean. His eyes were white as he was knocked out. A hole on the right side of his stomach was seen.

The beast swam towards his meal unhurriedly, like it was not worth it to act rushed. Once he arrived, he wrapped the end of his tentacle around Kanuk and put him into his mouth.

Hurrr*

The beast swallowed some water to wash its food down. With a loud burp, it closed its eyes as it was about to sleep until he felt something in his stomach.

A sound similar to a laser was heard from the beast's eye as a water laser pierced through. The water laser circled the beast's eye, cutting a hole.

Swoosh!

Kanuk swam out of the hole, his hand on his stomach as he stopped it from bleeding by freezing it. He turned around and looked at the beast. To his surprise, it was still moving.

'This bastard is still alive?' Kanuk was surprised, to say the least. His plan was always to get eaten by the beast. The laser beam was a surprise to him. His distraction caused his stomach to be stabbed through.

After the beast swallowed him, he thought about what the beast did, and he then remembered Choso from Jujutsu Kaisen doing the same thing with his blood.

Piercing Blood. By controlling the viscosity and velocity of their blood, the user can fire it like a sniper round, capable of piercing through enemies. Kanuk took inspiration from it.

Instead of using blood, he used water, which he condensed even more than blood. He then used his principle to recreate it with water. Like Sukuna did.

Boom!

The beast let out a roar that shook the water around him and Kanuk. The sound of its roar was too loud for a human to hear it. Kanuk suddenly opened his eyes wide.

The beast was making a last move since it knew he would not survive this battle. It's mouth opened, and it sucked in so much water that it started expanding.

'Shit! What's it doing?' Kanuk, for safety, turned around and swam away from the beast. After swimming hundreds of meters away, he turned around and attacked it.

Piercing Blood!

A thin beam of water stabbed through the beast with ease. A massive explosion was created. Kanuk watched as the beast exploded into a superheated steam explosion.

'Shit!' Kanuk froze himself in a ball of ice as the hot steam rushed upon him like a tsunami. The ice instantly started melting from the heat. Kanuk constantly refroze the water.

A minute later, Kanuk felt like his Chi was starting to bottom out. Just when he was going to panic, the steam wave stopped. Kanuk did not dare leave the ice as the water was still hot.

Kanuk swam up with the ice, and when he was on the surface, he created an ice platform to stand on.

"The water is steaming..." Kanuk said as he saw the surface of the water. Steam was coming off like it was being boiled from the inside.

Kanuk looked below the water and noticed that the squid was dead. Its skin turned red, and the heat of the explosion cooked him from the inside out.

"I wonder if I can eat it." Kanuk thought as he waited for the ocean to start to cool down. It did not take long as the water started cooling down from the heat.

Splash!

Once the ocean was cold again, Kanuk jumped in and swam back towards the giant squid. Upon arriving, he saw Leopard Seals try eating the squid.

Swoosh!

A water beam sniped one of them, and the other Leopard Seals immediately ran in fear.

Kanuk felt his Chi increase a massive amount. Not from the stats, but because his water bending levelled up 2 times in a row. At level 10, he could move 1.5 tons of water.

Level 12, he can move 6.1 tons of water. Kanuk swam towards the massive beast, or what was left after the explosion. What remained was 3 of its tentacles and a bit of its head.

'I wonder what its attributes are.' Kanuk touched the tentacle, and he felt his eyes open as he saw the attribute of the squid. It was the best attribute he ever saw.

It only had 3 attributes, but these 3 attributes were better than anything Kanuk ever got. Kanuk started reading what those attributes could do.

[Water Tuned Lv.10: Increases water control by 10 times. Water Bending costs 3 times less Chi.]

[Chi Machine Lv.5: Blessed to have massive reserves of Chi. Chi regenerates 10% every 10 seconds.]

[Giant Lv.50: Increases your natural size by 50 times. Increases your strength by 50 times.]

Kanuk ignored the Giant attribute since he did not want to turn a giant. Instead, he copied the Chi Machine and Water Tuned. With those 2 attributes, he will become much more powerful.

[Ding!]

[Attribute Man of Steel, Water Tuned, and Chi Machine are compatible.]

[Fuse?]

Kanuk did not immediately fuse the attributes since he was still underwater. He turned around and left the water. Once he surfaced, he jumped onto the ice platform he made previously.

Landing on the ice platform, Kanuk sat down and ordered the system to fuse his attributes.

[3%...]

"Tch!" Kanuk clicked his tongue in annoyance as he waited. After 5 minutes, the fusion was finally complete, and the new attribute was revealed to Kanuk.

[Dng!]

[New attribute formed.]

[Attribute: Elemental Body.]

"Apply the attribute," Kanuk said as he prepared for the attribute to fuse with him.

[Applying.]

Kanuk felt his chi pathways suddenly explode. With a loud scream of pain, he spat out blood, his skin turned red as he started to get hot, and steam rolled off his body.

"System, what the fuck is this?!" Kanuk's voice was full of pain as he questioned the system.

[The fusing process is painful.]

Kanuk's eyes rolled up as he passed out on the ice platform. The time passed, and when the sun started going down, Kanuk came back to his senses.

"Ugh! What happened?" Kanuk sat up in silence as he rubbed his eyes. Kanuk looked down and noticed the ice was painted red from blood. It was smaller as it was melting.

"System. Show me what Elemental Body can do." Kanuk said as he jumped into the water. His bloodied body and clothes were cleaned as he pulled the dirt and blood off.

[Elemental Body: Retain all previous abilities. Chi can regenerate 10% every ten seconds. Water is obedient and easier to control. Water Bending takes 3 times less Chi.]

"System, show me my stats."

Kanuk noticed his stat points, and he smirked with excitement. He can increase his attributes to 100! Acting on his desire, Kanuk started adding to his stats.

"Umm~" Kanuk groaned as he felt his muscles contract for 10 seconds. After the feeling subsided, Kanuk opened his eyes as a comfortable sigh left his mouth.

"This is what I'm talking about."
