The Backbender (Avatar: The Last Airbender)

"Katara! You have improved tremendously. Is it to protect me~," Kanuk teased Katara as she held up a water ball as big as a child. That ball of water weighs at least a ton!

Due to wearing the ring that Kanuk gave Katara, her improvement is much better than before. Katara was already one of the best geniuses in Water Bending.

With the ring that improves her learning and comprehension ability, she might as well now be the most genius Water Bender on the planet. If she keeps training, she might learn Ice Bendign on her own.

"Oh yeah? Well, I think your improvement is even faster, mister~" Katara smirked as she looked back at Kanuk, who was making a water ball even more massive than her float.

"Well, I had a good teacher." Katara rolled her eyes before going back to her training. Kanuk smiled as he looked at his water-bending level. It has been 3 days since he went to look for a spear.

Kanuk trained his water bending for a few hours every single day. The experience increase after each level-up slowed his levelling down considerably.

Katara dropped the water ball with a tired sigh. Her Chi was not infinite, and Water Bendign takes more than just wanting to lift the water. You have to concentrate and move your body.

"Kanuk, I am going home. I am tired." Kanuk nodded his head, and he kissed her before she walked away. Going back to his training, Kanuk put the water ball into the Sea/

"Now. Evolve!" Kanuk sat down on the snowy ground and smirked as he allowed the system to evolve his water bending.

"Is this even a choice? I pick Ice Bending!" Kanuk did not even hesitate before he chose Ice Bending. The other 2 Bending evolutions are good. But ice is just better.

As Kanuk finished his choice, a slight humming sound was heard as energy entered his body. Kanuk could feel his Chi increase in amount and density.

Kanuk let out a comfortable sigh as he felt the energy stop. Opening his eyes, Kanuk jumped up from the floor, feeling energetic like never before.

Boom!

A bunch of spikes exploded from the ice around Kanuk as he clenched his fist. Kanuk smirked, and with a wave of his hand, the ice picks started flaunting.

Swoosh!

The ice spears hurled through the air towards a target. Kanuk missed on purpose to see how his homing attack worked. The ice spears missed, but with a sharp turn, they turned around.

Boom!

The ice spears exploded upon impacting the target and froze it with the cold. Kanuk let out a satisfied sigh as he looked at that. 

Able to use Water Bending to bend about 1.5 tons of water is already good, but now he can also use Ice Bending. Kanuk entered the high-tier league in power.

"I think it's about time we find the Avatar," Kanuk smirked as his vision zoomed out for miles. In an iceberg underwater, a girl was frozen inside the ice.

Under her was an air bison frozen deep in the ice, but strangely, both were alive in the cold ice. This was the avatar and her air bison who vanished 100 years ago.

"Hmm... The hunting trip should be tomorrow since we are running out of food. I will free her then. Plus, I wonder what I could copy from her." Kanuk turned around and walked back to the tribe.

After walking home, he entered and ate some food cooked by Katara. After that, he put his clothes on and took his Trident into his hand. He was going to hunt.

"Where are you going?" Katara was confused as she saw Kanuk pick his Trident up. Kanuk smiled before telling her he was going to practise with the Trident.

"Well, I just got this Trident, so I want to go and practise with it." Katara nodded with a sigh as Kanuk made his way outside. Once Kanuk reached a good enough distance, he jumped into the water and swam off.

Swoosh!

'I want my stats to reach 100 before I free the avatar.' Kanuk thought as his eyes zoomed in to search for Leopard Seals. They are weak and easy prey.

As Kanuk searched for the Leopard Seals, the water started getting colder around him. Before Kanuk knew it, he entered the deep ocean, and even with his Man of Steel attribute, he felt the cold.

'Where am I? The light here is small, and I can barely see 100 meters in front.' Kanuk turned around, but all he saw was darkness, with light coming from the surface.

The light from the surface could barely make it down this deep, and it was a perfect place for beasts to hide. Kanuk started feeling a sense of danger as he twirled around.

Splash!

'!!!' Kanuk twirled around, and he froze in fear as he saw a humongous monster looking at him. The eye of the terrifying beast alone was the size of his body!

'Shit! Gotta run!' Kanuk moved at such a high speed that he left a ring of water behind him, but of course, it would not be that easy to run away from such a beast.

Hurrrrr*

A sound similar to a vacuum cleaner being turned on was heard in Kanuk's ears. He turned around and watched in shock as the beast sucked in the water like a hoover.

In the centre, a vacuum with a sucking force was created. The force sucked Kanuk back like a cannonball!

Just as Kanuk was about to fall into the mouth of the beast, he turned around and froze the water in front of its mouth. The suction force was cut off, and Kanuk jumped back.

Boom!

Kanuk watched as a water beam like a laser smashed the frozen water around the beast's mouth, freeing him with no difficulty.

'Os shit! I am fucked if that hits me even once!' Kanuk started regretting his decision to enter the deep ocean. He just wanted to increase his stats a little bit, not fight a freaking Godzilla!

'This beast is slow in the water. I should be able to escape, but that suction will easily pull me back. What do I do...' Kanuk swam as a giant tentacle swatted at him.

The beast was a squid-like creature. It had massive tentacles the size of ships, and its skin was snow-white with blue spots. It had a single eye that took up most of its face.

Hurrrr*

Again Kanuk was sucked towards the giant maws of the beast with a desperate attempt. Kanuk sent spears hurling towards its eye, hoping to pierce it.

Crack!

The ice spears into an ice shield that the creature made, and it pierces it halfway through before stopping. This creature must be hundreds of years old.

With that time, his water Bending must be at an all-time high. Especially as animals and beasts are more in tune with nature, allowing them to bend better than Humans.

"Shit..."
