Chapter 299: Turned A Leaf
"Struggle, timeless, but your end is inevitable."
"Listen to me!" She fought to let out the words, practically screaming.
"I know something that might interest you."
"The flames will not be extinguished." The Dragon God declared.
Lisa's eyes drifted back and forth frantically as she sought to think of what might interest this overpowered humanoid dragon creature.
"There are people gathering to fight you, and I do not simply mean the knights and peasants. Powerful people from someplace else, outside of Mage'Earth and summoned by a force that is probably greater than yours. One might not be a problem, but an army of them certainly is. You need me to tell you their weaknesses." Lisa said, and then managed to let out a confident grin.
"There is simply no being capable of taking me, the mere thought of it is inconceivable, but I shall entertain you."
A snap pervaded the space across the burning expanse, and the expanse reversed to just simply the abyssal darkness it was prior, and then Lisa realized she was outside of the hut now, she turned to meet a mob of dragon kins with frowned faces and weapons pointed at her. She was in trouble,or so she believed. Then she felt it, the presence she had felt in that fiery landscape. She looked up to see the Dragon God draped in purple robes.
The Dragon God held up his right hand instructing the angry mob to spare the trespasser in their midst. They all bowed to this gesture, and then turned away.
Lisa's eyes were locked at the Dragon God all through this time.
"You better have something interesting to show me, child."
"Yes!" She responded, nodding nervously.
He grinned, exposing his fangs, feeling quite satisfied, and then, he snapped his fingers, and the two of them blurred away.

[The Eastern Theocracy]
[2 months: 13 days: 03 hours]
A woman knelt on a platform, No. Many might think that the Priestess, The Theocrat of the Eastern Theocracy was a woman, but to the few privy to the nation's secrets, she was no more than a twelve year old girl, however, certainly tall and extremely intelligent for her age.
She stood on a platform that stood on the tallest structure in the kingdom. The spiraling structure was built for this purpose, this final resort: To wake up the god Iysa. The mere act of simply waking a god out of their beautiful slumber with not enough justification behind it was one of the gravest sins, and the holy priestess was about to do just that, she would call their god out of their slumber.
It was necessary, crucial for their continued existence.
She had been led up with a few holy inhuman sentries, and the highest ranking priests, but it was common knowledge that their god largely tolerates the lonely ambiance between them and his betrothed–they wouldn't have it any other way.
Priestess Reinarlaxes Tuymulamabib Geignes prayed to her beloved in silence at first and then gradually, her voice grew louder and louder that it encapsulated the city, reaching a crescendo that should otherwise be impossible for a human to reach.
This thundering voice caused the buildings in the city to slightly vibrate, and eventually the heavens heeded her call and parted away to let down the god of light Iysa.
The being that descended from heaven was encapsulated by blinding light all about them, their body pouring out a radiance that could burn the eyes of those that weren't the Theocrat's eyes at where she knelt.
There was joy in the eyes of Reinarlaxes, streaks of tears fell, her beloved answered and they would be saved from the advance of the vicious dragon kins and their powerful dragon lords.
The god of light appeared to be like a man with four white eyes, two situated below where the two humanly eyes usually stay. The eyes held power and a depth to them that was alien to mere mortals. Iysa's ears were pointy, jutting to the sides at the length of about seven inches.
He got on the platform, and walked to his betrothed, leaving a slicky shiny substance behind every step. He got to Reinarlaxes, and took her hand, and he lightly kissed it. The young priestess blushed at this.
Iysa's raised his head, and his face immediately went stern. There were flying violent looking lizards coming the way of their kingdom, beating their newly gotten wings frantically, and approaching the pristine holy kingdom.
However, now that Iysa was present, he would be having none of that, especially not while his beloved still lived. He threw forth one of his long four arms, activating a skill, and miles away, above the sea that was between the dragon kin and the holy land, balls of white light sprouted into existence, and blasted the multitude of dragon kin that approached, destroying them all.
The attack had come too fast, and plentiful for the dragon kin not to be decimated, after all, what was a watered down dragon to a god?
However, there were others who survived this onslaught. Iysa moved away from his bride and focused on the five who hovered impudently, unfazed by his overwhelming attack.
He threw up an arm, crossing the others nonchalantly, creating a portal that was merely inches away from the red, much larger dragon kins, and he sent a blast of white light through his end of the portal.
The light bathed the group, but once the light shrunk away, the dragon kin stood, still unfazed, still aloft, an energy shield over them.
This troubled Iysa, and he drifted off the platform.
His white eyes glimmered, and the sea part to a creature's massive maw, and the group was swallowed. The creature fell to having its jaw broken and torn, as the group simply didn't move from their spot.
"Our turn. Beautiful architecture, but blasphemy. There's only one God, and he burns all."
The group held out their hands in unison, and atop them sprouted a massive ball the size of a mountain, the sky sizzling to the great heat that came from this ball, and the it darkened, the sea turning tumultuous.
