The Extra Seeks Chaos

Chapter 134: Tessa's Resolve & Something Like An Introduction

Arin opened the system screen and instantly saw a red dot at the bottom, meaning there was an unread notification.

Without wasting time, he opened the unread notification, and it was instantly displayed.

It was information about his new ally, Leon.

[Name: Leon Stormheart.]

[Gender: Male.]

[Race: Shadow Lord.]

[Rank: Grade 4 Common Mage.]

[Elemental Affinity: Fire.]

[After taking the Shadow Seed that was formed from the body of the Shadow Lord himself, Leon Stormheart changed from a human to a Shadow Lord, the strongest among all the Shadows in the Shadow Realm, hereby inheriting his powers.]

"Shadow Lord, huh?" Arin muttered. "This means that if Leon is finally able to use more abilities of the Shadow Lord, he'll even be stronger than Valtor."

Arin knew that with more practice, Leon would definitely become even stronger.

He looked down and noticed that Tessa's information was also there.

[Name: Tessa Silverhart.]

[Gender: Female.]

[Race: Human.]

[Rank: Grade 4 Grandmaster Mage.]

[Elemental Affinity: Sound.]

Arin stared at the system screen with squinted eyes. "Hmm, the last time we spoke about her Rank, she told me that she was at the Grade 3 Grandmaster Mage Rank... Maybe she recently went up a Grade."

Arin closed the system screen before staring at the clothes he would wear for the ceremony. "Well, we wait..."

Inside a room in the female dorm building, a girl was seated in a lotus position with her eyes closed. She remained still without any slight movement.

Suddenly, her eyes snapped open, with her gaze landing on the window she was facing. Find more chapters on My Virtual Library Empire

She showed no expression for a few seconds before she finally smiled slightly. "I've finally completed my fifth spell..."

Tessa stood up as she walked towards the window. The sight of the moon was visible through her window, bathing her hair with its glow.

"Now, I have to focus on Ranking Up," she muttered. "It won't be easy, and it'll even take a while, but I have to..."

She paused as she gazed at the moon, a distant look in her eyes.

"I have to get stronger..."

She looked back, staring at her bed and the gown that was on it. "But for now... The ceremony is finally here."

Arin stared at the bright sky outside through his window, though Roxanne was blocking his view because, immediately after she heard the voices of the students, she had already rushed towards the window.

Her usual bright smile was present, but suddenly she furrowed her brows before turning back to look at Arin, who was getting prepared to leave.

Even with the ceremony, classes would still hold. The ceremony would take place at night, so it didn't affect classes.

She stared at Arin for a few seconds before speaking, "Uhm... I noticed that almost all the students look extra cheerful today..."

"It's almost as if something is happening today..." she added.

"Yes," Arin said. "There's a ceremony today... at night. So the students are excited about it."

"Oh, I see..." Roxanne muttered.

Arin glanced at her for a second before he looked away.

"But since it's a joint ceremony, won't the second-year students try to act superior and maybe cause trouble?" Seraphine asked.

"That won't happen," Arin replied. "Almost all the teachers will be present, so they'll behave themselves."

"Though it's a joint ceremony for first-year students and second-year students to meet and have fun," Arin added, "at the end, most of the second-year students will not bother meeting the first-year students, and most of the first-year students will be too scared to approach the second-year students."

"Well, at least the fun part still remains," Seraphine said.

Arin nodded his head as he finished preparing. Seconds later, Seraphine was already in her physical form, ready to do her usual morning training.

Roxanne had also already transformed into the bracelet, and Arin had already worn it.

With that, he left the room and exited the dorm building.

Immediately, he went straight to the building reserved for teachers, where he met Riya before.

He climbed the stairs and arrived in the hallway before walking towards Riya's office.

Once again, he didn't need to knock before he heard her voice.

"Come in."

He opened the door and entered the office, where he saw Riya seated on the chair.

She smiled at him immediately after he entered before speaking, "Welcome, Master Chaos."

Arin smiled back before he sat down on the second chair, staring at her.

"Were you able to get something?" he asked.

Riya leaned forward slightly, staring at Arin. "Of course. It wasn't too hard, and I've also made sure there won't be any suspicion."

Arin smiled. "Thank you."

"It's my pleasure," Riya said.

Without wasting time, Arin removed the bracelet from his wrist and squeezed it slightly before dropping it on the floor.

When Roxanne was in bracelet form, she could see but couldn't speak or hear. So, after Arin dropped the bracelet on the floor, she interpreted that as a sign to appear.

Instantly, the bracelet glowed and was instantly replaced with Roxanne.

Riya's mouth opened slightly immediately after she saw Roxanne. "She's beautiful..."

'Hmm, knowing that this wasn't my room, she hid her Blood Energy so nobody can sense it,' Arin thought. 'She's certainly not dumb...'

Riya smiled, with her eyes fixated on Roxanne as she repeated, "she's beautiful..."

"I know," Arin instantly said.

He furrowed his brows the next instant. 'Why did I just blurt that out...?'

Ignoring that, he focused on Roxanne, who was staring at him, partially flustered and partially confused.

"Roxanne," Arin said. "This is like an introduction. I'll bring you here later to meet her, and we'll brief you on what is going on."

Roxanne turned to look at Riya, who was still smiling. "Good day..."

"Good day," Riya also said. "Nice to meet you. My name is Riya, though like he said, this is an introduction. We'll meet properly later."

Roxanne was still confused, but she decided to trust Arin and see what would happen, so she nodded her head.

The next instant, she had already transformed back into the bracelet, and Arin picked it up.

"So what do you think?" Arin asked.

Making Roxanne appear wasn't just for an introduction; there was also another reason.

"There'll be no problem," Riya replied.

"Perfect," Arin said as he stood up. "I'll be going to class, then."

With that, he left the office.
