The God of Ice and Fire at Hogwarts

Chapter 207: Voldemort is just a boiled egg and a two-hole socket

Unlike Irina, who had read the original work, Harry had never been exposed to the Patronus Charm. Therefore, Lynn had to begin by explaining what the Patronus Charm was, rather than immediately discussing the Patronus Spells and Tips for casting spells with Irina.

After an hour of teaching, Harry finally managed to reluctantly produce a silvery mist.

However, he could only release the white-silver mist and was still far from producing a full-fledged Patronus.

Upon seeing the thick, white-silver mist floating from the tip of Harry's wand, Lynn nodded slightly and said, "That's almost it. That's all for tonight. Next, you can go and seek out Professor Lupin. He might have the ability to take your Patronus Charm a step further."

Harry agreed, understanding that what Lynn was referring to was Professor Lupin's Boggart.

If his guess was correct, what Harry feared most could be Dementors, and when facing the Boggart alone, the Boggart might have turned into the appearance of a Dementor.

Dementors are typically the best material for practicing the Patronus Charm.

After Harry put his wand away and happily returned to the castle, Lynn's gaze shifted to Irina.

"By the way, why don't you teach Harry the Patronus Charm yourself? I think your current level of Patronus Charm is probably not weaker than mine."

Lynn asked aloud.

Irina spread her hands and said innocently, "I feel that Harry and Ron still distrust you. I think if you have a master-student relationship, maybe he'll be more willing to trust you."

Hearing this, Lynn smiled and shook his head with a hint of affection in his eyes, "You know, I don't mind, but as you wish, do what you want."

A strange feeling passed through Irina's heart. She tilted her head, "Oh, this is actually a good thing. By the way, do you have any other plans?"

Lynn said seriously, "If I remember correctly, according to the plot of the original book, Harry will receive the Marauder's Map from the Weasley twins the weekend before Christmas and go to Hogsmeade Village through the secret passage, overhearing conversations from professors about Sirius. But now, the Marauder's Map has fallen into our hands."

Irina thoughtfully replied, "So, Lynn, do you want to give the Marauder's Map to Harry?"

Lynn nodded and said, "Yes, we need to reduce the appearance of variables as much as possible, and I believe the part where Harry gets the Marauder's Map and goes to Hogsmeade shouldn't be omitted."

Irina said, "I understand. I'll transfer the Marauder's Map to Harry before that weekend. However, without the Marauder's Map, our understanding of what happened at Hogwarts Castle may not be possible."

Upon hearing this, Lynn chuckled and, when he turned his left hand, several pieces of parchment appeared in his hand.

And all of these parchments showed the names of all the wizards in Hogwarts Castle, as well as their movement trajectories.

"These... are all Marauder's Maps?!" Irina said incredulously.

Lynn smiled and said, "Yes, in fact, the Marauder's Map doesn't have much technical content. Its only subtlety is that it's connected to the magical network of Hogwarts Castle, thereby stealing part of the Castle's authority. After I broke it and connected the Marauder's Map to the magical network of Hogwarts Castle, I easily reproduced the Marauder's Map."

As Lynn said, the Marauder's Map itself didn't have much technical content in alchemy; otherwise, Sirius, who wasn't deeply involved in alchemy, wouldn't have been able to participate in the creation of the Marauder's Map.

"First, I'll leave these Marauder's Maps with you. I'll also bring one to Harry. The password to open and close this Marauder's Map is the same, 'Voldemort is a boiled egg with a double-hole electric plug.'"

Lynn handed over several Marauder's Maps he had made to Irina and said.

After hearing the instructions for these Marauder's Maps, Irina's mouth twisted slightly, "Aren't you afraid Voldemort will discover it and fight with you?"

Lynn spread his hands and said cheerfully, "With that password, even if wizards from Voldemort's camp got the Marauder's Map and knew the password, they wouldn't dare to read it."

Irina wiped the nonexistent cold sweat from her forehead.

Not to mention the people from Voldemort's camp, most wizards probably wouldn't dare to pronounce such strange passwords.

After all, to this day, many people still only dare to refer to Voldemort as "He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named," but wouldn't dare to call him by his first name!

...

Time passed quickly. The white winter snow fell from the sky, and Merlin also wore thick white socks.

In the late November Quidditch match, the Ravenclaw Quidditch team defeated the Hufflepuff Quidditch team, giving Harry hope of winning. This allowed Harry and the others to practice Quidditch, and the Quidditch league became more active.

Soon, less than two weeks remained before the Christmas holidays.

The rain that had been falling for almost two months finally stopped, the sky cleared up, and the once dark sky became bright and dazzling with an opalescent glow.

That morning, on the grounds outside Hogwarts Castle, the muddy grass was covered with a layer of frost as white as crystal, and the castle was filled with a busy atmosphere as Christmas approached.

This weekend was the last Hogsmeade weekend before Christmas break, the weekend when third-year and higher students could visit Hogsmeade Village.

Of course, except for Harry, who couldn't get his parents' signature.

After watching Ron and Hermione leave the Hogwarts Castle, Harry walked toward the Gryffindor common room with some frustration.

But at that moment, a girl as beautiful as an elf in the snow blocked his path. Harry looked up, and it was Irina who appeared in front of him.

"Irina, didn't you go to Hogsmeade with Lynn?" Harry asked.

During the Hogsmeade weekend this semester, Irina didn't go with Ron and Hermione but went with Lynn instead. This made Harry subconsciously think that Irina would always stay by Lynn's side.

Irina showed a smile and said, "I just saw you looking bored, so I'm here to give you an early Christmas gift. Come on, follow me!"

With that, Irina led Harry to an empty classroom.

Seeing the doubtful look in Harry's eyes, Irina took out the Marauder's Map from her pocket.

"This is the gift I want to give you. Touch its surface with your wand and say, 'I solemnly swear that I am up to no good.' Try it."

Irina placed the Marauder's Map on a desk and said to Harry with a smile.
