As Mercer leaves Isaac in the damp stone room, His last words reverberate in Isaac's mind "Use this time however you want, learn your core power better, or work out, just no leaving this room." And Isaac planned to do just that.

Isaac never thought he would be brought to the hero's world, so he never considered the need to work out or train in weapons and even now he still doesn't think that he should spend his time doing that since his core power was not offensive and more utility based, and due to its unique element of learning other core powers, it would be better to focus on his core power rather than something that could be out classed by someone who was lucky to have a core power for strength or combat.

Isaac inspected his currant state and inwardly thought "due to being around light so much out side my dark vision didn't grow much but since this room has no light I can see what happens when I 'max out' dark vision, but that will take a few days, at most a day and a half considering how fast it progressed just walking to here for a few hours with the Puppet Master."

Isaac looked around the room and saw a human sized rock on its side almost like a bed, he also saw a water pump with was most likely how he would get water while in here, Isaac expressed bitterness for losing his school bag, back on dune that he fell on since he had a few thing that would have been useful, such as his bottle and James notes on magic theory from his school club, while it was not useful before, it could have been while in this room and maybe could have been useful to the people of Light Shroud.

Isaac sat down and let out a sigh. "Since I have time, I am going to collect my thoughts. The puppet Master called this place the lightless dunes which is a name I have never heard of at least not in public textbooks, there is also a chance that it was completely made up since the name is kind of dumb, there are 5 kingdoms out of 9 continents in the hero's world, so if I had to guess this is one of the 3 continents that don't have a kingdom and that's because they don't have a monument to allow travel between the worlds, James has went to the monument in cornerstone which makes sense since cornerstone is the capital of magic and that was probably all his good luck gone." Isaac lets out a chuckle at his last thought.

Isaac thoughts went else were "could Vlad Norvitch be in one of the non populated continents, that would explain why no one has seen him and how the OHP is being made, according to experts with appraisal core powers, the OHP is part of Vlad Norvitch core power, and for someone who is missing in both world, no one has ever tried to take credit for his work".

Isaac started to think about the main problem that was bothering him "monuments can come in all shapes and sizes any one of the grain of sand could have been part of an old monument but going around using macy's core power on every bit of sand would take forever and someone has most likely thought of that, wait what are the chances of sibling being brought to the same place in the hero's world, could there have been a monument here along ago but got broken or stolen somehow and that how the sibling got here".

Isaac eyes start to burn with a almost allergic rash breaking out all over his face, as Isaac start to roll around in agony, the musty smell of the room mixed with pain makes this place feel like hell by every second, Isaac silently curses at Anix for bring him here, even if it was his fault for getting mad in the heat of the moment.

Isaac tried everything to make the burning stop as he crawled in a pitiful state to the water pump to splash his face with water to calm the burning, pouring it in his eyes, as he shut his eyes, the burning stopped, but the rash on his face did fade. Regaining some strength, he slowly walked to the stone door by feeling the grooves on the wall. When he reached the door, he banged on it.

Before long, a voice spoke out to him that Isaac didn't recognize, which made Isaac a bit nervous since he was hoping for Mercer to be on the other side. "What is that you want?" the voice on the other side of the door said with a slight pity in the voice's tone.

Isaac spoke "I think something is wrong with me," Isaac paused inwardly hit himself for saying that since they might think that it is the Puppet Master infection but Isaac would would rather be killed that keep this rash that was slowly regaining its will to rush his body "I have this rash on my face that is spreading and it really hurts"

The voice on the other side asked a question, "Have you been using your core power an excessive amount?"

Isaac started to answer "No I haven't been, l no wait I think I have been using it" Isaac brain started to twist and turn as his thoughts run ramped "do powers I learn also fatigue me like my core power, I thought that since it wasn't a core power and was closer to a 'trait' that I could use it with out repercussion."

The voice spoke "Its seems like you are just tired, when we use our core powers its like using a muscle but using it often we can grow them and the same for not using them, but we will get tired, if we over use them and our body's start to break down since we cant handle the power unless you train your body or core power to the extreme, a word of advice, cool your jets and rest after all, no one expects some who was just brought here to suddenly bring our main problem to its knees." the voice lets out a chuckle leaving Isaac to his own devices.
