Chapter 6: Preparations and Discoveries

The night had fallen over the village of Misty River, but Han Feng did not rest.

Sitting in the lotus position inside his hut, he kept his eyes closed, feeling the flow of Qi around him. The battle against Wang Tao had taught him something important: he needed to strengthen himself quickly.

His body was already in a better state thanks to the connection with the Dual Chaos Larva, but that was not enough. He needed more resources, more powerful techniques, a deeper understanding of his own power.

The village's annual test was approaching.

If he wanted to ensure his survival, he would have to make the most of every moment until then.

The Study of the Celestial Diagram

Han Feng turned his attention to the Celestial Diagram within his mind.

From the moment he awoke in this world, he knew that this diagram was the key to his ascension. But the more he studied, the more he realized that he had not yet explored all of its potential.

The hexagonal pattern glowed, pulsing slowly like a living star.

He felt his consciousness being sucked into the diagram.

Suddenly, glimpses of knowledge began to form in his mind:

Balance between Qi and Gu Essence.

The symbiosis of chaotic energy and order.

The evolution of a Gu through the infusion of cultivated energy.

Han Feng suddenly opened his eyes.

He understood.

The Celestial Diagram not only allowed him to control both cultivation systems but also to directly strengthen his Gu insects through Qi!

This meant that he could accelerate the growth of the Dual Chaos Larva, making it much more powerful in a short period of time.

If I could manage that before the annual test, I could be far ahead of the other competitors.

The Strengthening Plan

Han Feng knew that, to increase the strength of his Gu, he would need two main resources:

An abundant source of Qi to fuel the insect's growth.

Rare spiritual materials to stabilize and boost your evolution.

The first was relatively simple: he could cultivate all night and slowly channel his energy into the Dual Chaos Larva.

The second, however, would be more problematic. Spiritual materials were not easy to find, and the village strictly controlled these resources.

But Han Feng had an idea.

If I couldn't find them within the village, maybe I could find them in the Misty Forest.

The Night Journey

Without wasting time, Han Feng grabbed a small cloth bag and quietly left his cabin.

The Misty Forest was dangerous, especially at night. But he couldn't wait until dawn.

Moving carefully between the houses, he avoided patrols and quickly reached the edge of the village. The night breeze was cold, but he did not hesitate to take his first step into the forest.

The path was dark, but his mind was focused.

He needed to find something that would boost his power.

And he wouldn't leave there without it.
