The Insights of the Gods, Deducing the Forbidden Spells at Hogwarts

Chapter 21: Chapter 21: The Wizarding World Is Shocked! Who Is the Mysterious Master?

After Weiss finished speaking, he noticed that Snape had no interest in continuing the conversation.

Understanding the situation, he tactfully took his leave.

After all, he had more pressing matters to attend to

Selection, formatting, publishing.

The next issue of Magical Research was bound to shake the entire wizarding world.

Once Weiss was gone, Snape returned to his office.

He took out paper and a quill

And began writing a letter to Charlie.

"Charlie, I will pick out the books you requested.

There is something I need to discuss with you.

Here's the situation:

A publication wants to feature excerpts from your manuscript."

[...]

After finishing the letter, Snape hesitated for a moment.

But in the end, he still handed it to the owl.

Then, he gathered his things and prepared to head to the library.

That boy, Charlie

The books he wanted weren't easy to find.

They were ancient, obscure, and covered highly specialized magical fields.

A Few Days Later

At the orphanage

Charlie received Snape's letter.

He furrowed his brows slightly

Then quickly relaxed.

Publishing an excerpt of my manuscript?

It might cause a stir in the wizarding world?

They will provide me with some compensation?

And they're keeping my identity hidden for now.

What a bunch of fanatical magic enthusiasts.

But luckily

The version I sent Snape was a simplified one.

The truly powerful version still exists only in my mind.

Charlie didn't dwell on it too much.

After all

It was just a crude version of the training method he had developed.

There were still plenty of flaws.

And yet, even this was enough to shake them up?

Oh well, at least they're offering compensation.

As for the money

Charlie wasn't particularly concerned about the amount.

What mattered was that if they were paying him, it would have to go through Snape.

Hmm.

That means I'll have a perfectly valid reason to ask Snape to take me to Gringotts in Diagon Alley.

After all

This sum of money probably wouldn't be a small amount.

It certainly wouldn't be something to carry around casually.

It's most likely going into Gringotts

Diagon Alley was a place Charlie had been wanting to visit ahead of time.

Besides, there should still be an inheritance left by his parents.

Though with Harry around, it would have to be split.

Speaking of Harry

Charlie paused in thought.

That unfortunate little brother of his

He hadn't seen him in years.

These past few years, he hadn't been able to visit him directly. The journey was long, and transportation was inconvenient.

If he sneaked out and didn't return for too long, the orphanage would be in an uproar.

I'll find a chance to check on him.

He must be having a hard time at his aunt's house.

At this thought

Images of his aunt's family resurfaced in Charlie's mind.

He couldn't help but shake his head.

A trace of pity flashed through him for his brother, Harry.

A week later

The entire wizarding world was abuzz.

Meetings were urgently convened across various factions.

London, Beneath Whitehall

 Inside the Ministry of Magic

 High-Level Conference Room

The Minister of Magic sat in his high seat, holding a newspaper, looking rather pleased.

"You've all read this issue of Magical Research, haven't you?"

The Ministry officials below nodded.

"Yes, we've tested the methods, it's all accurate and effective."

"Does anyone know who the author of these articles is?"

"According to reliable sources, they originated from a Hogwarts professor, Severus Snape."

"Gather the Ministry's research teams and have them analyze these theories. We must compile a practical, reproducible system as soon as possible."

The Minister of Magic gave his order immediately.

However, the officials below hesitated.

"What's the problem? Is there an issue?"

The Minister frowned in confusion.

"Minister, the situation is as follows."

"We visited Professor Snape at Hogwarts, but he claimed that he only knew as much as what was published."

"Furthermore, it appears that Snape himself is not the true originator of this research breakthrough."

"Likewise, we contacted Dumbledore, but he was just as surprised and claimed to have no knowledge of it."

"As a result, we may not be able to compile a complete system as quickly as you'd like. We can only put together a rough version for now."

The Minister's brows knitted together.

"So it wasn't Snape?"

"And not Dumbledore either?"

"Then… who?"

The old scholars and researchers in the wizarding world were well-known

Who could have achieved such a remarkable breakthrough?

"Fine, even a simplified version will be beneficial. But keep an eye out"

"If an individual has made such an extraordinary achievement, I'd like to meet them personally."

The officials exchanged uncertain glances.

Their minds were filled with shock

And the same unanswered question

Who exactly was this mysterious master?

Inside Hogwarts

A conference room.

An old man with a long white beard paced back and forth, holding a newspaper.

"Brilliant!"

"Absolutely brilliant!"

"So it can be done this way?"

"This is a major advancement in the study of Defense Against the Dark Arts."

"No wonder the Ministry was so eager to ask me about it."

"This approach… doesn't seem like Snape's style."

This old man

Was none other than Albus Dumbledore.

At that moment, his expression was truly fascinating.

Admiration.

Curiosity.

Astonishment.

"Hmm, I suppose I'll have to speak with Professor Snape."

"I'd love to know who came up with such a genius method for magical defense."

"This training system… is truly unique."

After speaking

Dumbledore adjusted his robes slightly and stepped out of the room.

"Albus! Where are you going? I need to speak with you!"

As soon as he stepped outside, he ran into Professor McGonagall

Who was also holding a newspaper, looking rather anxious.

"Oh, Professor McGonagall, I'm afraid I don't have time today."

Dumbledore shrugged.

Without waiting for her response, he simply strolled off toward Snape's office.

McGonagall stood there, momentarily stunned.

She looked down at the Magical Research paper in her hands.

"He didn't even let me finish, so rude!"

T/N: The update is late today. I thought I had set it on a schedule to update earlier today, but I just realized I did not. Oh well, go enjoy! :}
