Bab.13 : The Buried Legacy in the Drakness

As Xiao Bai Tian stepped into the ancient ruins, the world around him changed drastically.

From the outside, it appeared to be nothing more than a typical ruin, but as soon as he entered through the massive stone door, space and time seemed to distort.

The sky, once dark, now transformed into a vast expanse filled with stars.

The ground beneath him was no longer rocks or dust from the ruins, but golden light that resembled a sea of pure energy.

The air vibrated.

Faint whispers began to sound.

Xiao Bai Tian remained still, his ears catching the whispers.

"You've finally arrived…"

"That blood… you possess it…"

"He is still alive… within you…"

The voices came from not just one being, but from thousands, even millions, of unseen entities.

However, what startled Xiao Bai Tian the most was when the last voice echoed directly within his mind.

"Xuán Wú… still flows within your blood."

BOOM!

It was as though lightning struck, causing his consciousness to tremble violently.

The Absolute God's Blood within him pulsed, as if responding to something.

"Xuán Wú…"

The name had appeared several times already.

Was the original owner of the Absolute God's Blood within him truly still… alive?

But before Xiao Bai Tian could think further, the space around him suddenly shifted.

The starry sky above him split open, revealing a dark, bottomless rift.

From within the rift, a creature slowly emerged.

"It's been millions of years…"

Its voice was deep and filled with exhaustion, but also carried a power that shook the universe.

The creature had a semi-transparent body, as though it were only a remnant of something much greater.

Its eyes were hollow, but within them lay something terrifying—knowledge that surpassed the very limits of existence.

Xiao Bai Tian stared at the creature without fear.

He sensed something strange.

It was as if—

This creature knew him.

And before Xiao Bai Tian could ask, the creature raised its hand.

In an instant…

The sky collapsed.

Unimaginable waves of energy shot toward Xiao Bai Tian.

However, he did not retreat.

SWOOSH!

He removed his eye patch once more.

The Eyes of God opened.

In a single glance…

The attack stopped.

The air vibrated.

The transparent being stared at him in silence, then gave a faint smile.

"So, you truly are the heir…"

Xiao Bai Tian remained silent, but within his mind, thousands of questions arose.

Who was this being?

Why did it recognize the Absolute God's Blood within him?

And more importantly…

What was hidden in this place?

Bab.14 : The Foorprints of the Ancestors Erased by the Laws of the Universe

BOOM!!

The once dark sky trembled violently. The golden light enveloping the ruins suddenly flared, revealing ancient carvings that had been hidden in the darkness.

Xiao Bai Tian stood tall in the center of the ruins, the black cloth still covering his eyes. Yet, even without his normal sight, he could feel the energy currents that surrounded the place.

Before him, the transparent being floated in stillness. Though its form was vague, there was something about it that made Xiao Bai Tian unwilling to ignore it.

"So strong…" the being's voice trembled. "Yet… still not enough to face the Laws of the Universe."

Xiao Bai Tian did not respond immediately. The words echoed in his mind.

The Laws of the Universe?

Before he could ask further, the space around him began to writhe violently.

BOOM!

A golden symbol appeared in the sky above the ruins.

The symbol was that of an eye split in half, surrounded by an intricate circle filled with ancient inscriptions. Although he had never seen it before, Xiao Bai Tian understood its meaning.

"Those who defy the laws will be erased from existence."

"No matter how strong they are."

"Even those who transcend everything cannot escape destruction."

"Such is the decree of the Laws of the Universe."

Xiao Bai Tian felt something pulse inside him.

The Absolute God's Blood flowing within his veins suddenly trembled intensely.

WUSHHH!!

Fragments of unfamiliar memories began to flood his mind.

A great war.

Beings far more powerful than anything he had ever imagined clashed in the void. Gods and demons, creators and destroyers, all engaged in a conflict that transcended human comprehension.

But among them…

Xuán Wú.

That figure stood alone.

Before him was something unseen, something without form, without name, yet possessing an absolute power capable of erasing everything.

Xuán Wú raised his hand.

Limitless light exploded from his body, tearing through reality itself.

But just as his power reached its peak…

He disappeared.

Not dead, not destroyed. But truly erased from existence.

As if he had never been.

Xiao Bai Tian clenched his fists.

Is this what the voices meant?

Was Xuán Wú erased by the Laws of the Universe because his power surpassed the limits allowed?

And more importantly…

Would this happen to him?

Before he could think further, the transparent being spoke again.

"I am the remnant of those who have been erased…"

Its voice grew fainter. Its body began to fade.

"If you step any further… you will reach the point of no return."

"Are you ready to face the same end?"

Xiao Bai Tian remained silent.

But in his mind, he already had his answer.

"If this is my path, then I will keep walking."
