Chapter 19: The New Breed

The Master's words echoed in Emma's mind as she struggled to comprehend the true nature of her transformation.

"You see, Emma," the Master continued, "humanity has reached a plateau. It's time for the next step in evolution. And you, my dear, are the key."

Emma's eyes widened as the Master revealed his plan. He intended to use her as a template to create an army of superhumans, beings with abilities beyond those of mortal men.

"But at what cost?" Emma asked, her voice shaking with horror.
