The Serpent’s Heir

Chapter 29: Chapter 27: The Memory That Wore His Face

The memory came during breakfast. Not a dream. Not a vision. A trigger.

Neville passed him a note — harmless, casual, about Herbology.

But when Harry unfolded the parchment…his hand began to shake.

There, scrawled faintly on the back, was a name:

"Althar."

And just like that — the world tilted.

Flashback — The Other Life

He wasn't at Hogwarts anymore.

He was standing in a stone citadel, wearing robes not made for this era — stitched with silver flame.

There were three others in the room. Two sisters. One boy.

And he was speaking, but not in his own voice.

"It's not just memory," he said."It's design."

"We were made for this."

Present Day – Harry Collapses

Theo catches him before he hits the floor.

Rowan presses her hand to his wrist — the broken ring reconnects for a moment, and a small flare of silver glows across Harry's collarbone.

When it fades, he whispers one name:

"Althar."

Draco frowns. "What the hell is that?"

Rowan flips through her journal. "Not what. Who."

The Forgotten Fourth

Through the old family lines, Theo finds it.

A name almost scrubbed from wizarding history.

Althar Ardyn.A child mage.Vanished at age 13.Disappeared from the Fifth House the year Selene and Kaelen died.

And here's the shock:The records list his physical description — black hair, green eyes, scar-shaped birthmark on his collarbone.

Harry felt sick.

"It's me," he said."He looked like me."

Final Scene – The Pact Confirmed

That night, the broken ring seal reconnected — fully, completely — for the first time.

And from within it, the third voice spoke again.

"You were not just a child in this war.You were its first architect."

"You left something behind in the seal. And now, to end this…

You have to take it back."
