The Strongest Trainer with His Relaxed Life

Chapter 15: The Strongest Trainer with His Relaxed Life : 15. Very satisfying results

Ann enthusiastically explained what their team had found. Lim and Nova were the most excited—Lim had successfully evolved her Feebas, while Nova had set her sights on catching a Ralts, evolving it into Kirlia, and eventually into Gallade, one of Kirlia's evolved forms.

As they talked about evolution items, Leon's group returned, cheerful smiles on their faces.

"Hahaha, so you guys made it back first," Leon said with a grin.

"Yeah, I arrived first, then Brian came a bit later. What did you find? Judging by those big smiles, I'm guessing it was something good," Fiona asked.

"Haha, we found four items—Meteorite, Moon Stone, Peat Block, and Black Augurite," Leon replied. "We stumbled upon a huge valley, probably more than ten kilometers wide. That's where we picked these up. The last time Brian sold a Meteorite, it went for over a hundred million—so yeah, I'm definitely happy."

"A meteorite, huh? That's definitely exciting," Fiona said calmly.

Leon frowned slightly. "What kind of reaction is that? You should be jumping for joy—over a hundred million!"

"It is great," Fiona replied, "but it hasn't even been two years since we sold the meteorite Brian found. If we sell another one now, people might start getting suspicious about where we got it."

"Ah... you're right," Leon said, a bit deflated. He turned to Brian. "What about the other three items, Brian? Are they useful?"

"Of course," Brian said. "The Moon Stone can evolve Pokémon like Nidorino, Nidorina, Clefairy, and others we haven't even found yet. The Peat Block is used to evolve Ursaring, and the Black Augurite is for Scyther."

Everyone paused, letting the information sink in. Nidorino and Nidorina could now evolve—so could Ursaring, already known for its strength.

"Wait... Ursaring can evolve? That's surprising," Leon said. "And doesn't Scyther evolve using that Metal Coat you mentioned earlier?"

"Well, Scyther actually has two possible evolutions," Brian explained. "And the evolved form of Ursaring is incredibly powerful."

"Two different evolutionary paths?" Ann repeated, her eyes lighting up.

"Does anyone here have both forms?" Leon asked curiously.

"Yes, Dad. Kirlia has multiple evolutions too," Ann chimed in.

"Kirlia? That rare Pokémon has alternate evolutions too? It's already expensive as it is. If people find out it can evolve into other forms, the value will skyrocket," Leon said, visibly intrigued.

He was about to ask more questions when Fiona cut in. "Let's head home. It's almost dark."

Later, back at home, they gathered to go over all the information and decide what to sell and what to keep.

"After our discussion, here's the summary," Brian began. "We'll sell Water Stones and Leaf Stones, five units each. Rarer stones—like Dusk Stones, Dawn Stones, and Moon Stones—will be sold one per month."

Other rare items, such as Meteorites, Oval Stones, and similar treasures, would be withheld from the market for now.

"So... are we closing the shop again to explore more of the little world?" Fiona asked.

"No, Mom," Brian replied. "Let's divide the tasks. I want to catch Pokémon to repopulate the ecosystem there. But if we explore everything on foot, it'll take too long."

"He's right," Leon agreed. "Let's split up. Brian and Jeremy will go out catching Pokémon. You'll stay here and look after the shop. The kids and I will explore the areas we missed yesterday."

"Sounds good," Fiona nodded

The next day, Leon and the others resumed their exploration. Fiona stayed behind to tend the shop, while Brian and Jeremy set off toward the Hidden Garden.

Brian and the team had already caught several green-quality Pokémon and above, but the garden still held many yellow-tier Pokémon.

Yellow Pokémon were also quite rare and difficult to find in the outside world. But in the Hidden Garden, they were abundant. Once caught and released into the Small World, their quality would naturally increase to green within five months. That meant Brian would soon have a growing population of green-quality offspring.

Meanwhile, in the Small World, Leon and the rest of the group headed south—toward the area they had left unexplored the day before.

"Dad, look—there's a mountain over there. Should we go check it out?" Alan asked, pointing excitedly.

Leon followed Alan's gaze. "Hmm... it doesn't look too far. What do you think? Can we make it?"

"Dad, we're strong," Ann said with a confident smile. "Before we met Brother Brian, we used to walk long distances and wander the town begging. We're still tough enough for this."

"Yeah, Dad, we're really strong!" Alan chimed in.

Leon chuckled. "Alright, let's head that way. I've got a feeling there might be Ice Stones up there. The mountain looks white from here—let's go find out."

Hidden Garden

Meanwhile, in the Hidden Garden, Brian and Jeremy had already caught 200 Pokémon. Most of them were Yellow-grade—common types like Magikarp, Oddish, Caterpie, Weedle, and Pidgey.

Although Brian had come across several rare Pokémon—like Nova's Chimecho—most of them were Red-grade, and he chose to pass. Still, he and Jeremy couldn't carry more than 200 Pokéballs anyway.

Jeremy, his back weighed down by a large bag full of Pokéballs, turned to Brian. "Hey Bro, are we heading back now?"

"Yeah, that's enough for today," Brian nodded. "Besides, we're out of Pokéballs. Our main goal now is to find more Flying-types like your Pidgey. We've already caught ten—that should be enough for now."

It was already afternoon when Leon's team returned from exploring the Small World—earlier than Brian and Jeremy.

"So, what did you find on this expedition?" Fiona asked.

"Not bad," Leon replied. "We found an Ice Stone and a Metal Alloy. The Ice Stone is probably used to evolve Ice-type Pokémon. As for the Metal Alloy… well, we'll have to wait for Brian to get back and explain it."

Just as they were about to continue the conversation, Brian and Jeremy walked in through the door.

"What do I need to explain, Dad?" Brian asked.

"Here, take a look," Alan said, handing him the item. "We know it's called a Metal Alloy, but we're not sure what it does."

"Oh, Metal Alloy," Brian nodded. "It's kind of like a Metal Coat, but slightly different. I know for sure it can be used to evolve Duraludon into Archaludon. You can think of Duraludon as something like Ursaring—it can evolve too, but it's even stronger."

"Hisss… another expensive item," Leon said, clearly impressed.

"What kind of Pokémon is Duraludon, Bro? Is it Psychic?" Nova asked curiously.

"Unfortunately not, Nova," Ann replied. "Duraludon is a Steel and Dragon-type Pokémon."
