Waking up, fighting off sleep, getting ready, and heading to school. A simple routine, but one that defines Hikaru's reality.

With nothing noteworthy happening, he made his way to school at a relaxed pace. However, while he remained carefree, others were far from it… Panic might be the right word to describe their expressions.

In a spacious and well-organized room, two girls were engaged in conversation.

One had short black hair and piercing violet eyes, her glasses only enhancing the serious and responsible aura she exuded.

The other, with long crimson hair and striking blue eyes, had a beauty that naturally stood out. Her demeanor was far more relaxed in contrast to her friend's stern attitude.

"Rias, someone has been eliminating Stray Devils in Kuoh, and we don't know who."

The sudden revelation caught Rias off guard.

"Sona, have you tried tracking this person?"

"Yes, but we haven't been able to gather much... All we know is that someone is hunting Stray Devils in our territory."

Beyond being a serious situation, this also wounded the Devils' pride. Someone daring to do their job in a city under their control? Unacceptable!

"I'll keep an eye on this, Sona. My peerage and I will try to identify this person."

"Good. That was exactly what I was going to suggest. Be careful, Rias."

While these two noble Devils discussed the unknown threat, the so-called "mysterious danger" was currently yawning as he passed through the school gates.

A sudden chill ran down Hikaru's spine.

"Someone must be talking about me!"

Brushing off the strange feeling, he went through his morning classes without issue.

When lunch break arrived, he decided to check out the cafeteria for something good to eat.

As he walked, his mind wandered.

"I need to train my other magic as well... Relying solely on light magic is just asking for trouble in this crazy world."

In a world as unbalanced as DxD, Hikaru feared that an unexpected threat could one day take away not just his peace but also his life.

As if sensing his thoughts, the system suddenly activated with a new mission.
