Transformers Prime: I am Allspark

Chapter 95: The Touch Part 55

"A plan Zeta wouldn't approve of? I don't know what it is, but I already approve of it." Liege Maximo taunted, clearly eager to watch the chaos unfold.

"I have to admit, I'm intrigued." Onyx said, resting his face on his hand. It was rare for Alpha Trion to take such an unconventional or risky approach to anything.

"There's a 64.484% chance that Alpha Trion's plan is sheer stupidity." Alchemist calculated aloud, his tone betraying his curiosity despite his skepticism.

Intrigued as well was Micronus. He released Solus from his control, unaware that she had regained her composure after Liege Maximus' mental manipulation. She now looked at the Prime of Lies with suspicion, already knowing that he had used his powers on her.

Alpha Trion felt the weight of his brothers' gazes, their curiosity pressing down on his Spark. For a moment, he almost reconsidered not sharing his plan. But he took a deep breath and spoke. "I'm working together with Pulver."

The space fell silent. The Primes stared at Alpha Trion, stunned by the revelation that he was working with one of the original Decepticons - one of the most dangerous to ever walk Cybertron, and Zeta's assassin to boot.

"Of all the possibilities, I wouldn't have thought of that in a million years." Alchemist muttered, utterly perplexed.

"By Primus..." Micronus whispered in disbelief.

"Of all the things I've heard and seen, this is by far the most... hahahahahaha. I would never be able to get over it." Liege Maximo said, materializing an illusory golden trophy in his hands. He struggled to suppress his laughter. "I hereby award you first place for being the greatest son of a bitch in the history of the universe."

"You've got to be joking." Solus said as she looked at Zeta, waiting for him to break his calm and collected facade before he exploded in anger.

Onyx remained silent, unsure of what to say. The surprise was evident in his eyes, but he wisely chose not to comment.

Zeta's expression was stoic, as if nothing could shake him. Only the most observant would notice the subtle flicker of surprise in his eyes. "That woman... so she's alive."

"I know it's... inconvenient to be working alongside the one who killed you, but she's matured significantly since the last time you saw her." Alpha Trion explained, choosing his words carefully.

"Well, the last time Zeta saw her, she was busy separating his head from his body." Liege Maximo whispered, using his mind-bending powers to stoke Zeta's anger. "Any improvement in behavior would be a monumental step forward."

Zeta remained motionless for several long seconds, his blue eyes locked onto Alpha Trion's as if searching his soul. Finally, he spoke. "If you're confident she can be useful, then I'll give her a chance." His words surprised everyone, especially Liege Maximo.

"I expected a good discussion, I had a lot of expectations. "said Liege Maximo, obviously disappointed. "But tell me, brother, how did you convince a woman who makes men lose their minds to help you?" His tone was full of irony, and he subtly glanced at Zeta, hoping to provoke a reaction.

Zeta's eye twitched slightly. He knew Liege was trying to rattle him, and it made him wonder how Prima had ever managed to keep the Prime of Lies in check.

"I was honest with her," Alpha Trion replied. "I told her the Allspark could be in grave danger, and that I needed to position the pieces on the board so the new Prime could gain the experience and aptitude needed to wield their power effectively and be prepared for the worst."

"Really? Being honest?"

"Yes."

On the iron mountain, bathed in the multicolored glow of the aurora borealis, Orion and Elita were lost in a quiet, intimate moment. The view before them was breathtaking, one of the most beautiful sights a Cybertronian could ever witness.

Elita rested her head on Orion's shoulder, feeling a deep connection to him. His presence was more comforting than any material possession or adornment.

Alpha Trion opened his eyes and stretched his neck before standing. The meeting with his brothers had concluded, and he felt more confident in his decision. He knew that acting directly, as he had in Cybertron's ancient era, would be reckless. He had to play the few cards he had carefully.

He glanced at the couple, noting how close they were. It made him reflect on his own life, millions of years lived, yet he had never found a romantic partner. He realized he had spent much of his existence consumed by his mission, treating it as a form of penance.

Alpha Trion sighed, knowing it was time to return to Cybertron and not think about his life. He wasn't sure how much time had passed due to the time distortion, but he hoped it wasn't more than a few days, if they were lucky.

"It's time for us to go home." he announced.

Elita and Orion jumped, startled by his voice. They stood awkwardly, their embarrassment evident.

"No need to scare us like that." Elita muttered, glaring at Alpha Trion.

Alpha Trion shook his head with a hint of irony, showing he was in a relatively good mood. He decided not to elaborate further. "I'll reverse the process we used to get here and return us to our dimension."

"This sounds like magic! Like those tales of metallic wizards." Elita said, unable to resist the comparison.

"The powers of the Primes are complex. Technology and magic are intertwined as one, which is why a Prime's abilities seem so extraordinary compared to those of a common Cybertronian."

Alpha Trion assumed the same pose as before, his hand pressed to the ground. It began to glow, and the earth around them shimmered with blue and white particles.

The swirling lights gathered around them, enveloping the group as they prepared to return to their dimension.

Orion and Elita were mesmerized by the spectacle, unaware of a transparent figure observing them from a distance. The being, covered in white armor with golden details, watched Alpha Trion with an enigmatic gaze.

Before the teleportation was complete, Alpha Trion spotted the figure. It was Prima, the oldest of the Primes, he watched them from a distance, like a silent guardian.

Prima nodded in greeting, a simple gesture that spoke volumes. Alpha Trion returned the nod, and then the group vanished in a burst of light.

"Good luck." Prima whispered, his words carrying a hidden meaning. He smiled faintly before disappearing into the aurora borealis, as if he had never been there at all.
