Transmigrated Become Sukuna, but the host is Yukinoshita Yukino?

Chapter 119: Chapter 119: An Unexpected Victory

"We're not done yet."

Just as everyone was losing their fighting spirit, a calm voice broke the silence. Everyone froze for a moment before turning to look at the girl who had spoken.

Yukinoshita Yukino kept her gaze fixed on the dark-haired young man in the distance, thinking hard about how to get close to him.

If I show that I'm planning to engage Hayashizaki in close combat, he likely won't refuse. But I'm not confident I can land [Hachi] on him in close quarters.

That's why I need someone to cover me.

"Everyone, please help me get close to Hayashizaki. As long as I can touch him, I can deal real damage."

Yukinoshita Yukino spoke seriously.

"Are you serious... Ah, whatever, let's do it! Losing like this would be so humiliating. I'd hate to finish this fight only to be laughed at by that idiot with the eyepatch."

Zenin Maki! shook her head, tossing aside unnecessary thoughts.

"It's up to you!"

"Got it!"

Itadori Yuji's spirit reignited, and he shouted his agreement.

"Yuji, what are you yelling for!?"

Zenin gave him a sharp kick to the rear.

"I was talking to Yukinoshita-senpai!"

"What!?"

"Nothing..."

Itadori Yuji squatted down, looking defeated.

"Hahaha, this guy is such a total idiot," Kugisaki Nobara said with a smirk.

She raised her hammer and shot several nails in Hayashizaki's direction. The crisp sound of the hammer striking the nails was like the drums of war, signaling the restart of their battle.

The nails landed in the grass around Hayashizaki.

He glanced down at the nails near his feet, then smirked. Leaning forward slightly, he dashed across the grass like a hawk diving toward its prey.

Kugisaki continued firing nails, each one landing along Hayashizaki's path.

"Cursed Technique: Hairpin!"

At Kugisaki Nobara's shout, the cursed energy within the nails erupted like triggered landmines. Waves of cursed energy rippled across the grass, tearing up the ground and sending shockwaves through the air.

Even Hayashizaki, mid-sprint, was affected. Although the exploding cursed energy couldn't harm his body, it disrupted his balance.

As he tumbled out of the explosion's range, a shadow suddenly loomed over him. Without looking up, Hayashizaki sidestepped just in time as Panda's massive form crashed down like a boulder. Panda swung back with a powerful, curse-infused punch, striking Hayashizaki before he could regain his footing.

The blow sent Hayashizaki skidding several meters across the grass.

From behind Panda's broad back, Zenin charged forward, leaping high into the air. She brought her three-section staff down on Hayashizaki with all her strength, but he caught it with one hand.

With a light tug, Zenin was pulled toward him. Left with no choice, she let go of the cursed weapon, handing over her special-grade tool.

"What monstrous strength," the ponytailed girl muttered as she quickly moved in for close combat.

The three-section staff, Youun, was difficult to use effectively at close range. If I attack first, I might gain the upper hand… Or so I thought.

Hayashizaki, after snatching Zenin's weapon, casually tossed it into the air. With both hands free, he effortlessly blocked her attack.

After exchanging a few blows with Zenin, Hayashizaki suddenly leaped up to dodge Itadori Yuji's sliding attack. He then used one hand to block a high kick aimed at his neck and reached back with the other to grab Yukinoshita Yukino's incoming right hand.

Like a graceful dancer, Hayashizaki maneuvered Yukinoshita Yukino's punch into Panda, who was striking from the other side. Seizing the moment, Hayashizaki slipped away unharmed.

To avoid hitting an ally, Panda had to divert his punch to the ground, sending dust flying everywhere. The cursed energy in his redirected attack left a deep crater in the grass.

The rhythm of the group's coordinated attack was broken.

When they regained their focus, they saw Hayashizaki standing calmly, hands raised in a mock military salute, smiling at the sulking Kugisaki Nobara.

"I surrender,"

grumbled the orange-haired girl, clearly unhappy.

"If this keeps up, will Yukinoshita-senpai be the only one left standing?"

Even Itadori Yuji, usually the most optimistic, now forced an uneasy smile.

"Watch out, he's coming again!"

Zenin had just picked up her discarded weapon when Hayashizaki charged at them once more.

Before her warning finished, a figure dashed past her—it was Yukinoshita Yukino!

"Hey, weren't we supposed to cover for you?"

Zenin widened her eyes in surprise. Despite her confusion, she had no choice but to follow.

"Oh?"

Seeing Yukinoshita Yukino charge directly at him, Hayashizaki raised an eyebrow. He was surprised, but it also made sense.

Compared to the curse technique imprinted on her by Hayashizaki, Yukinoshita Yukino's close-combat skills were undoubtedly her weakness. Yet here she was, initiating the fight herself.

For hand-to-hand combat, the only way to improve is through practice.

Acknowledging one's shortcomings and finding ways to improve is perfectly in line with Yukinoshita Yukino's personality.

She raised her hand to block a strike, leaving a faint red mark on Hayashizaki's arm and momentarily stopping him.

Rather than blindly engaging in close combat, she cleverly used her technique to create an opening for her attacks.

She's learning quickly.

A hint of approval flashed in Hayashizaki's eyes.

Adapting beyond straightforward tactics was precisely what Hayashizaki had taught Yukinoshita Yukino, and she was now applying it perfectly in battle.

As Yukinoshita Yukino quickly approached Hayashizaki, she suddenly stopped a few meters away and stepped aside, clearing the way behind her.

Zenin Maki rushed past her, swinging her weapon like a whip toward Hayashizaki.

Just as Hayashizaki was about to repeat his move and grab her weapon, he sensed the incoming array of cutting attacks. He jumped back lightly, dodging both the whip and the slashes.

The blade left several deep, clean gashes in the ground.

"Well, I guess it's time to get serious and end this."

Without even looking, Hayashizaki reached behind him and caught Panda's fist as if he had eyes on his back.

With a smooth turn, he threw a punch that slammed into Panda's head.

Panda felt like his head had been struck by a wrecking ball. With a loud "Ow!" he was sent spinning through the air.

After defeating Panda, Hayashizaki kept spinning, using both hands to block the attacks from Itadori Yuji and Zenin at the same time.

Judging by the calm smile on his face, he seemed completely at ease.

The pressure on the two attackers intensified. And with pressure came mistakes.

Hayashizaki caught a gap in their coordination. He slapped away the oncoming staff aimed at his face with one hand. With the other, he deflected Itadori Yuji's punch, twisted his wrist, and grabbed the pink-haired boy's right hand. Pulling him forward, Hayashizaki followed with a sharp knee strike to his stomach.

"Ugh!"

The blow to his abdomen knocked the wind out of Yuji, forcing him to double over.

Hayashizaki raised his elbow and slammed it onto Yuji's exposed back, sending him crashing to the ground. He then ducked under a staff swing aimed at him, sweeping Zenin off her feet with a leg sweep.

Standing up, Hayashizaki stepped back two paces to avoid Yukinoshita Yukino's grasping hand. A faint smile appeared on his face.

Yukino's eyes widened as she watched her fingers barely graze the edge of his clothing, missing by just a fraction.

Close, but not enough.

Hayashizaki raised his hand and bent his fingers in front of Yukino's smooth forehead.

Yukino pressed her lips together tightly, her face full of unwillingness. Yet, she closed her eyes, resigned to the incoming flick on her forehead.

"Yukinoshita!"

A loud shout came from not far away, filled with determination. It was so intense, so final, that it made the familiar voice sound almost unrecognizable.

Yukinoshita's eyes shot open.

Half of Hayashizaki's body was reflected in a mirror-like surface, as if sealed in another dimension.

"Oh, I forgot about you, fish-eyed boy."

He looked curiously at his reflection, half-trapped in the mirror.

A second later, the mirror shattered.

Without needing a signal, Yukino's delicate hand pressed against Hayashizaki's chest. The cursed energy-infused strike surged through his body, blooming into crimson flowers of blood across him.

At the same time, Hayashizaki's bent fingers finally flicked out, leaving a red mark on Yukino's smooth forehead.

Yukinoshita stumbled backward, clutching her forehead.

In the distance, a drained Hachiman Hikigaya collapsed, utterly spent. With the last of his strength, he forced out his final words:

"This is all my cursed energy... Take it, Yukinoshita..."

With that, the fish-eyed boy fell limp like a lifeless fish, tongue out and completely out of commission.

"Did... we win?"

Zenin Maki muttered in a daze, her eyes unfocused.

No one expected the final victory to hinge on the one who had been slacking off the whole time.

Then again, part of it was also Hayashizaki's fault.

If he hadn't chosen such a silly attack—a forehead flick—it wouldn't have mattered even if Hachiman had managed to freeze him for a second.

"Wow, we really won. That's hilarious," Gojo Satoru said, laughing loudly. "And to lose in such a ridiculous way? That's just too funny!"

"Who would've thought my brother could actually pull through? It must've been thanks to my encouragement," Komachi said proudly.

She glanced at Hachiman, who had flopped over pitifully, and swallowed back the praise she was about to give.

"Sigh, useless big brother is useless no matter where he goes."

On the field, Itadori Yuji sat cross-legged on the grass, rubbing his stomach. He complained bitterly, "Hayashizaki-sensei, you're so unfair!

Why do you hit us so hard, but only flick Yukinoshita-senpai on the forehead?"

Hayashizaki squinted and waved a fist at him, smiling.

"Got a problem with that?"

"Itadori Yuji saluted him and shouted energetically:

"No!"

Yukinoshita Yukino glanced at the fine scars covering Hayashizaki, her voice as clear and pleasant as a mountain stream:

"Are you okay?"

'I'm fine, really.'

Hayashizaki waved his hand, and the wounds on his body began to heal automatically. In the blink of an eye, he was back to normal.

At that moment, Panda, who had been sent flying earlier, ran back, scratching his head in confusion as he saw everyone had stopped fighting.

"Huh? It's over already?"

"It's over, it's over," Kugisaki Nobara said with slumped shoulders, muttering, "Even if we won like this, it doesn't feel satisfying. And there's no reward either."

"A reward, huh?"

Hayashizaki stroked his chin thoughtfully.

"You're right. A reward would make sense. What kind of reward do you want?"

"Well, that's obvious!"

Kugisaki Nobara and Itadori Yuji exchanged a knowing look.

"Kaiseki cuisine in Ginza!"

"Sushi at Saito in Akasaka!"

The two shouted completely different answers.

"Huh? Are you an idiot? Kaiseki is definitely better value for the price!"

"But I want sushi! Saito is a legend in the sushi world! Don't you want to try it?"

Their disagreement quickly escalated, and the two ended up wrestling like children.

After waking up Fushiguro Megumi and Inumaki Toge, who had been knocked out, Hayashizaki organized a vote. In the end, they decided to head to the famous Saito Sushi in Akasaka.

As for Panda, he had to stay behind at Jujutsu High since ordinary people might see him. He could only eat a packed meal brought back for him.

"Sniff… Does everyone hate me?"

The poor panda clutched a tiny stick and drew circles in the dirt.

...

.....

After driving to their destination, a group of handsome men and beautiful women entered the elegantly designed sushi restaurant, drawing the attention of many diners.

Saito is hailed as the pinnacle of sushi in Japan. It has consistently topped nationwide sushi rankings on Japanese food websites and is rated as one of Tokyo's most difficult restaurants to book. Yet somehow, Gojo Satoru managed to secure a reservation with ease.

"So, why are you here?"

Hayashizaki glared unhappily at the white-haired man sitting across from him.

"Now, now, don't be like that. Without my help, you wouldn't have gotten a reservation here so easily, right?"

Gojo Satoru waved his hand with a laugh.

"That's wrong. Yukinoshita's father is a prefectural councilor. Booking a restaurant isn't a problem for him."

Hayashizaki added, "By the way, you're paying."

"Eh?"

The smile on Gojo Satoru's face froze instantly.
