Trapped In His Illusions

The next morning, Mila was standing in front of him.

" what did you wanted to talk about" , Mila asked.

" Mila I know I love you a lot. And I know I can't find someone to replace you. I'm also aware of your love for me but I don't think it's a right thing for us to stay together"

" what!"

" Listen, my family is much more dangerous than you think they could be. I don't want to hurt you because of our relationship" , he said looking away from her.

She grabbed his hand and looked into his eyes, " But Shal you love me right?"

" It's all because I love you…. It's because I love you that's why I can't bear to see you getting hurt because of me"

" Shal others don't matters to me. You are most important to me. Even if others hurt me it doesn't matters"

" I don't trust myself. Even I could hurt you because...." , he stopped talking.

" Because?"

" Because I am mentally sick, I have illusions . Remember I tried to push my emotions on you. It was because I was deluded. I am a threat, I am just a poison for …."

" Stop! Stop with the excuses. If you truly understand that I love you then you wouldn't be saying this. What? Illusions? Your family? ….. Shal I accepted you with your flaws and you are still thinking I can't love you because of those excuses", The deepness in her voice relaxed Shal muscles as he looked at her shocked.

" Even if you were a criminal, I wouldn't I able to leave you. Because I can't ….. I can't leave you until you leave me", tears floated in her eyes and slowly drifting along her cheeks.

A faint smile appeared at Shal's face. He grabbed her in his arms and hugged her tightly. The wall that was high enough to climb all his life just fall down in an instant.
