Traps of Fate : The Start

After Sam was pushed inside the portal

He saw he was in a dark hallway that was lit by torches of fire.

There was no stench or any kind of smell. He could feel a little air.

Soon, Argentia entered and saw Sam looking confused.

"What?" she asked.

"The mana here is different"

"well, yes because the mana has already dissipated a long time ago. What you fell is the remaining mana here."

"Oh, Thanks."

"let's start shall we?"

"yes" sam replied.

As they went ahead, the hallway became much bigger and wider.

They soon started hearing monster voices.

"Goblins?" Sam asked.

"Yeah, I'm surprised you figured that out just by the voice" she felt a little more interested to know how he figured it out, but Sam replied her.

"Did you forget, I lived in the forest? With real monsters?"

Her eyes snapped open for a second but soon she composed herself.

"I remember but I didn't think there would be monster where you lived."

"OH, I guess the whole school thinks like that huh.." Sam chuckled as he started to increase his speed.

"Yeah…HEY! Don't rush." She yelled.

But Sam had already used SWIFT STEPS.

He reached his first target.

A green goblin with a club in his hand, his back turned towards Sam.

Seeing this Sam smiled.

He closed the distance silently.

Using SWIFT STEPS again he appeared in front of the goblins face.

The goblin was shocked. It fell on his butt.

Kiekkkk..

It Shrieked like a chicken.

"Hi" Sam said as he grinned.

WATER BULLET

Sam used his magic. The water bullet magic tore through its skull leaving a gaping hole behind.

Sam turned and saw a lot of goblins coming towards him.

But he was not worried at all.

Argentia sure was.

He snapped his fingers.

SNAP

The whole hallway heard a snap.

Then, every monster that was coming towards him. Slipped.

Kiek kiekkk kiekkkk….

Sounds full of wounds could be heard.

He again closed the distance.

But he didn't go recklessly. He used Magic Armor on his hands.

He propped his hand in front of him to block an attack from the goblin, then he used his magic bullet magic.

WATER BULLET…... second kill

WATER BULLET…... third kill

WATER BULLET…... fourth kill

WATER BULLET…... fifth kill

WATER BULLET…... sixth kill

Then he huffed feeling overwhelmed by the mana he used.

He took a breath and steadied himself.

"To think you were this skilled. I have to say I am impressed."

Argentia walked behind him and spoke.

"ha-ha, I thought you impressed the first time you met me" he said back.

"well, I was but honestly this is more impressive. You cleared the whole room by yourself."

"I'm flattered" Sam spoke

" by the way, what profession are you?" Sam asked

"Magic Swordsmen" she replied.

"Woah, Cool!" he said being impressed.

"What did you choose?" she also asked.

"Magic Swordsmen" he replied.

"Heh, you are not using a sword here though."

"Because I don't have one."

"Oh" she fell into thinking

'I should have known, he has no sponsor except the goddess. I don't think the goddess left him any money. Sighh'

"I am thinking of asking the headmaster for help."

She heard him speak. But she interjected.

"D-Don't, I have a spare that I don't use. You can take that one." She said while blushing a little.

'I hope he didn't notice it, control yourself Argentia ughhhh'

"don't this dungeon drop any loot?" he asked again

"No, since its artificial." She answered him sincerely.

Sam nodded in understanding.

"well lets leave then, since we are done here." Argentia spoke.

"Alright" Sam followed after her to the exit portal.

Soon they both vanished.
