Chapter 3: 3

Enchanter

Chapter Text

Skimming through the shoes, Juny allowed her thoughts to wander.

She was not very stressed that she would be found 'shopping.'

She couldn't feel any living creatures on the second floor of the house, and if someone were to come down from the third floor, she would notice and have enough time to hide.

'I'm glad I spent so much time studying the Pathways and their Sequences. I've truly become nerdier since I transmigrated..'

She began to miss her high-school days. All she had to do to get an A was to read up on her notes before the test and forget it immediately after.

'Anyway, the boss is a Pyromaniac from the Red Priest Pathway. A Sequence 7 that has strong body, knowledge on traps, high instincts, fire manipulation and an ability that makes their face look very punchable.'

'I can counter the fire creation and manipulation ability using my Space Manipulation and Space Solidification.. I can also use Pocket Dimension. I just have to make sure to empty it beforehand, otherwise everything will burn.'

'The rest is just pure combat, and I'm pretty sure I'm better at that than him.'

'The second guy- uh, What was his name again? The guillotine Hader? What a dumb name. If you wanna be cool, at least go with Hades..'

'Anyway, pretty sure he's the Sequence 8 of the Tyrant Pathway.'

'They have very strong bodies with great balance. Also, they have night vision and they have invisible Scale armor. What was it... Phantom Scales? Ugh, that's not important. Anyway, the sequence 8 is unique because of their Folks of Rage power that causes Raging Blow. Or.. was it Raging Blow that causes Folks of Rage?'

'Umm. Aren't am I supposed to have a good memory? What is this?! Huff!'

Feeling flustered she picked up a pair of tall black shoes with thick flat soles. It was threaded all along its length, making it very well fitted and staid.

She also found a leather back with a belt connected to it. Juny was quite sure the bag was supposed to be attached to the leg as well as the belt on the waist.

She took out 78 risot and 6 setta from her wallet. The shoes were 53 risot, the bag was 20 risot and 6 setta with 5 risot as a tip.

Walking out with the use of the backdoor, she once again bowed in the direction of the shop before moving away.

She stuffed the shoes and bag into her Pocket Dimension. Turning her head, she looked at the surrounding shops.

'Just a shirt, and preferably a new pair of socks.'

Paying attention to the titles, she continued her analysis.

'Anyway, to activate Folks of Rage, he either needs to get punched a few times or be drunk. After Folks of Rage is in place, Raging Blow can be activated.'

"And that's technically just him using his fist like a machine gun to deal critical blows."

Thinking how she needs to pick the right time when fighting him, Juny entered another shop.

'And the last one, Leyah, he's a Barbarian of the Black Emperor Pathway. Sequence 8. He's strong and he's got great mental strength.'

'There's also that Brainwash thingy, but that's not useful while fighting.'

Walking around, Juny began to strategize.

She picked two shirts that were Nature black in color. They had loose cloth from the chest down but were connected by two small belts which drew an X under the neck.

On top of these shirts, Juny picked two nylons, and a surprisingly sturdy thread, having thought of a cool plan.

She was not really scared of them tearing or them getting messed up.

'After all, I've got the recovery enchantment, it works on clothes too!'

'Although I'm not sure about stains, but I'll work something out.'

Juny went around, picking a couple more clip-on and normal belts, as well as four pairs of socks and six pairs of underwear, all in black.

'Damn, my style is completely different from Earth... just the habit of overusing black stayed the same.'

Heaving a sigh, Juny took out her wallet and paid the store owner 25 risot and 20 setta.

Putting her shoppings into her Pocket Dimension, Juny walked out.

'I have to thank those sirs. I'd probably be extremely low on my funds without their merciful charity.'

Juny smirked to herself, patting her left chest few times.

She knew that, at this moment, she should wish a certain god to protect the men or praise the god for bestowing this onto her.

But Juny was an atheist. And that hasn't changed.

'I'll just thank fate... Is fate the domain of some god?'

Her mind boiled.

'Did I just praise some God of Fate without knowing?'

'Is there anything I can praise without pointing to a God?'

She became distracted as she continued walking.

Soon, she arrived at a hotel.

With a breath, she bowed her head.

'I'm not gonna pay this time... please forgive me!'

Once again, she randomly tapped her left chest with a smirk.

Juny looked through the window, paying attention to the front desk. Her eyes fell on the keys hung on the wall.

'3, 8, 11, 17, 20, 24 and 29.'

Remembering the numbers without guests, Juny looked up.

Seeing the windows, she slowly circled the building until she saw an opened one, it was high up.

'Let's pray they're asleep...'

She exhaled deeply before jumping up high, multiple meters into the air.

She lightly grabbed the pipe and used it to hurl herself up, grabbing the windowsill.

Slowly, she moved her body up, peeking into the room with her eyes.

Her eyes slithered around the room, only to realize that she couldn't see.

'It's official, I'm an idiot...'

With a frown, Juny lifted her left hand off the windowsill and tapped her fingers together, activating her Material Vision.

She looked into the room again.

She saw two auras on the bed, they had calm and steady colors, sometimes changing, but that's not abnormal.

'Or, that's what I read at least...'

Heaving a sigh, Juny jumped over the window and, while on her tippy toes, walked to the door.

She looked through the wooden door to make sure noone was outside.

Once again, she Solidified a key and opened the door, locking it behind her.

The closest empty room to this one was the room numbered 29.

As she made her way towards it, she scanned her surroundings with Material Vision.

Noticing nothing abnormal, she opened the door to the empty room and slipped in.

Looking at the bed, Juny couldn't help but feel disheartened.

"I'm only here for the mirror, I can't sleep.."

As she mumbled she sat down in front of a desk and pulled out the loose shirts, nylons and a thread with two clip-on belts.

'I was always very crafty... If you don't have money, you gotta have skills!'

Laughing to herself, Juny Solidified scissors and a needle.

She cut the nylons and connected them to the shirts' belts.

Then she took two clip-on belts and connected them using another attachment belt.

She sowed the middle and top parts of these clip-on belts onto the shirts and nylons.

A few hours of work later, she finished her strange creation.

It might've looked overly complex but it was very stretchy, like the rest of her clothes. It was also very firm.

'This way, I won't have to change clothes for at least a few years.'

Juny was pretty sure she would be able to wear this even as an adult.

Picking the two shirts that had loose clip-on belts hanging from them she got rid of the Solidifications and put the thread away.

One of the shirts was put into the Pocket Dimension and, in exchange, the rest of the getup was taken out.

Looking at the loose yet elegant coat, the half-loose and half-tight pants, the bag with a belt, the overly-complex shirt, the tall shoes with thick soles, the high-waisted skirt with a belt as well as some complimentary belts, Juny sighed.

'I'm glad I'll look like a real person now...'

She left the clothes, and went into the bathroom, looking at herself in a mirror, she suddenly came to a realization.

"Damn, I'm pitiful!"

"My face looked this worn out and bloodied the entire time?"

"No wonder they gave me money saying I should find nicer workplace..."

With a deep sigh, Juny started the bath.

Unfortunately for her, there were no showers here.

She took off her clothes and threw them into the Pocket Dimension.

She scrubbed her body and massaged her hair throughly.

After more than 30 minutes, she finally got out of the bath.

During her bath, she changed the water 3 times, to make sure she wouldn't dirty the light-colored rug.

Getting out, she contemplated for a few seconds before deciding to use the towels.

"I'll test the Recovery Enchantment. If it doesn't work, I'll just have to steal some towels... Do I have to pay for that?"

Realizing that her mentality was getting weirder and weirder, Juny took the dirty towels and walked into the bedroom.

She placed the clothes on the bed, wanting to dress up at once right before leaving.

Using her canine, she bit open her index fingers and wrote on the towel in Runic Language: 'Recover'

As she infused it with spirituality she saw the symbol light up.

Shortly after, the wetness and the stains on the towel slowly dissolved and vanished.

When the cleaning was done, the symbol also dissipated.

With a joyous smile, Juny picked the other towels and did the same.

When she was finished, she brought them into the bathroom and hung them in their previous place.

Soon after she reentered the bedroom, she stood in front of the full-body mirror.

She wore a loose shirt with nylon sleeves.

The shirt was tightened to her body using a belt.

The clip-on belts that hung from the shirt were connected to the skirt's belt, keeping it in place.

Two additional belts hung loosely from the skirt, creating a stylish effect.

A bag was attached around her thigh at an easily reachable distance.

From the middle of her calf, she wore a high pair of shoes that were threaded and firmly tightened around the legs.

She also covered the lower part of her neck, where her throat was, with slightly thick but not uncomfortable choker made out of a belt.

Finally, she put on the Cold black coat. Completing the unique look.

Just as she admired herself in the mirror, she felt her insides tingle.

Something was slowly dissolving and merging with herself.

She felt at peace.

Juny slowly closed her eyes, enjoying the beautiful and calming feeling.

'Is this what digesting feels like?'

Looking back at the mirror she saw a little girl.

The girl had sunken eyes with dark circles, they made her look dark and slightly gloomy.

The girl's hair was black with slight purple undertone.

The girl wore a very unusual clothing.

The girl was smiling.

Smiling widely.

This was because the girl was no longer Kalia.

The girl now looked worlds apart from Kalia.

The girl was Juny.

And Juny was happy.

She tore her eyes away from the mirror and opened the window, jumping down.

She steadily landed on the ground before walking away.

'So enchanting my appearance counts as Acting?'

'Hmm, apart from enchanting items and people, I also have to enchant and better myself.'

'Maybe enchanting others' ideas could work.'

'I have to share my opinions a lot...'

"..."

'If I give someone a bad advice, will I lump the potion instead?'

With a childish smile she roamed the streets.

'Well, I need to make a lot of contact with people either way..'

Her expression twisted with displeasure.

"I hate people."

She walked slowly and leisurely, after all, she didn't have a destination in mind.

Looking at the horizon, she noticed a reddish sun shining through.

'About 6 am... What a busy night.'

Juny couldn't help but sneer.

...

The streets were bustling with busy people running around.

Amongst them a popular street artist was surrounded by interested parents and curious children.

In this crowd, a blond-haired girl, who couldn't be older than 8, anxiously clenched her notebook.

On it was a quite profound drawing scribbled with grey pencil.

She looked at her favorite artist. Her idol.

Then at the grey drawing in her hand.

The drawing had the same man on it, just a less detailed one.

She bit her lip, her legs trembling.

She wished to show her idol the drawing.

She wanted to show her appreciation for the man who drew her mother's portrait two years ago.

Her family was poor and her mother was in a bad condition at the time, it was clear she didn't have even a month left.

If not for the man in front of her offering to draw the pale lady for free, the little girl wouldn't even be able to remember her mother's appearance.

But she couldn't approach the man who most probably didn't remember her.

She couldn't get herself to approach the professional with the crude drawing.

In denial, the blond-haired girl trembled before slowly turning her head to the side.

She could feel her heart throb.

She took a step back only-

"Wow! That's so pretty! Did you draw that?"

The blond-haired girl flinched and abruptly turned her head to the side.

She saw a black-haired girl, one that was only slightly taller than herself, peeking over her shoulder.

She wore an excited expression.

It was a honest expression, filled with interest.

The girl shook before looking down at the drawing.

"Y-yes, but it's bad.."

Her eyes stung, unable to see her own grey drawing clearly.

"Bad? Isn't it a drawing of that man? How is it badA voice came from behind her shoulder.

It was clear voice with no sign of sarcasm.

The voice asked a genuine question filled with confusion.

The blond-haired girl lifted her hand to wipe her eyes.

"I- It's too crude! It doesn't look like him at all!"

The blond-haired girl was suppressing her voice, but a sense of self-hatred could still be felt coming from it.

"Is that so? Isn't that because you're looking at it through blurred eyes?"

The gentle voice coming from behind her asked.

Before the blond-haired girl could respond, a folded piece of paper appeared before her.

"Here! Look at it through this!"

With confusion, the blond-haired girl's hand grabbed the thin paper.

Almost immediately, her vision was filled with scarlet light as her eyes cleared-up.

The blond-haired girl was confused to see a blank paper.

She wanted to look at the black-haired girl next to her to question, but her gaze got stuck on the grey drawing behind the folded paper.

It was a drawing of a familiar man. It was missing few details but it was clear.

It was a professional and beautifully done drawing.

The shadows were clear and the grey complimented the man's profound features.

It was a pretty drawing.

A drawing to be adored.

'I drew that..'

"See? It's pretty, isn't it? I'm glad your eyes aren't blurry anymore!"

The blond-haired girl wore an unsure expression as she looked at the black-haired girl next to her.

The black-haired girl, one that was only slightly taller than herself, wore a genuine smile.

"Go show it to him! He's not drawing anyone right now!"

The black-haired girl's eyes were radiating with support.

The blond-haired girl felt her confidence grow.

She eagerly nodded at the black-haired girl and turned to look at the man, her idol.

She took a breath and took a step forward.

As she walked she saw the man look at her.

Her heart sank slightly, but she didn't stop.

She saw the man's eyes flicker, she didn't know what it meant but she didn't stop.

She kept her head up stopping in front of the man, she didn't know what she wanted to say, but she showed him the drawing.

The man looked at the drawing, a smile was plastered across his face.

"This is the same technique I used to draw your mom, no? Did you use it as inspiration? It's very good!"

The man's voice was pleasant to the ears ,the blond-haired girl felt tears, but she didn't cry.

The blond-haired girl smiled and gave the drawing to the man.

The man, her idol, took the drawing with great interest.

He smiled at the girl and spoke.

"Thank you very much."

The blond-haired girl smiled. It was a smile clearly similar to the artist in front of.

She spoke the same words the man spoke two years ago when her mother thanked him.

"It's my pleasure!"

She felt her tears flow down but she didn't mind.

She bowed to the man with the grey drawing and stepped back.

She planned on drawing her dad next.

Then, she might draw her brother.

After that, she will draw her friends.

The blond-haired girl looked into the crowd.

She ignored the brown-haired adults and the red-haired kids.

Her eyes stopped on a particular black-haired girl.

The black-haired girl had a gentle expression filled with pure joy for herself.

She had particularly strange yet elegant style of clothing.

The black-haired girl looked straight into her eyes.

The black-haired nodded with encouraging smile before turning around and walking away.

The blonde-haired girl etched the gentle black-haired girl's face into her mind.

One day.

One day, when she was a professional artist like her idol.

One day, she would draw that black-haired girl.

The one that was only slightly taller than herself.

...

During the past 5 months, Juny spend her days walking the streets and enchanting others' daily lives.

Right now, she enchanted a little girl's confidence as well as enchanting her vision slightly.

She let the girl see her drawing for what it was and not for its flaws.

Juny used some psychology and the Enchantment Strengthen.

As she walked away, Juny felt at peace as her potion fully digest.

She smiled before turning to a particular street.

Walking to a nearby destroyed building, she saw two teenagers.

A girl and a boy.

The girl had long silver-blond hair with slightly dark roots. She was truly beautiful in the true sense of the word.

Her light brown eyes shimmered like a recently polished gold.

She had slightly pale skin with distinctive rosy cheeks. She couldn't be above 165 centimeters in height.

She wore clothing similar to a woman pirate. The girl wore an alchemist's bag on her belt.

The boy had slightly longer brown hair that reached to the middle of his neck.

The top of his hair was tied to the back, keeping it out of his face.

He had emerald green eyes with a tan skin.

He wore a white shirt with a short, light-brown sleeveless coat.

The sleeved of his white shirt were turned inside, revealing his forearm.

The two teens turned to look warily at the one who has entered.

Upon seeing Juny, the two clearly relaxed.

The girl ran to her and gave her a glass bottle.

"Juny! Look at this! I'm done now!"

Juny looked at her before nodding and activating her Material Vision.

She took the small bottle with questionable liquid inside and observed it.

The substance inside was emanating gentle blue spiritual particles.

She finished scanning and turned to the girl.

"It's perfect, I'll go to buy you some more ingredients for the next one."

Juny nodded and the girl immediately beamed.

"Don't spoil her too much, we're tight on money right now."

The boy that stood behind the girl spoke.

The girl's smile instantly plummeted.

She quickly turned around and basically jumped at the boy.

"That's because you keep trying your luck in casinos!"

The boy frowned before dodging to the side.

"I haven't visited one in 3 months! You're the one who keeps failing and creating poisons!"

The girl landed in an empty spot and glared at the boy.

"At least poisons can be useful! You just walk behind people acting like a creep!"

"Hey! I gather information!"

"Oh please! We both know you do sh*t! All the information we have was gathered by Juny!"

The boy's face went red.

"Well I cook the food!"

The girl came to a stop, seemingly contemplating something.

Watching this all unfold, Juny did nothing to intervene.

She met these two teens two months ago.

Other than Enchanting, Juny also went around gathering information on the gang 'The Crimson Brotherhood'.

The name was still lame no matter how she looked at it.

But, the gang itself went much deeper than she originally thought.

There is someone much more influential and stronger backing them.

She got rid of quite a few trashes from this gang. But their numbers never thinned.

She was always careful. Not wanting to be caught, she also killed a few despicable thugs from different groups.

While gathering information, she got to know about a particular mission of theirs that made her blood boil.

They planned on blowing up the biggest orphanage in the area.

The reason was that, a child of a sequence 6 Beyonder, who got on their bad side, was staying inside.

They seemed unconcerned about the fact that innocent children and kind caretakers would be ruthlessly murdered inside the explosion.

On the other hand, that seemed to be one of their main reasons for this action.

They wished to take the lives of underaged children to feed a particular Artifact.

And even though Juny wished to stop them, she was far too late.

Before she even arrived at the orphanage, the mission was already underway.

The building was burning.

She could hear high-pitched screams.

Juny could clearly see the small children standing by the windows, crying their eyes out in despair.

They couldn't get away from the ruthless fire.

With a clear mind fueled by pure rage, Juny jumped up.

She landed on the windowsill like a bird.

She completely ignored the surprised expressions as she grabbed two closest kids and dropped down.

She repeated this many times, but it wasn't enough.

It all happened in a span of a minute at most.

Juny was out of time, she needed to heal the burned children she placed beneath her.

Juny could see the room begin to tremble and collapse.

Reaching out, she tried to grab a close-by caretaker, but in the end she didn't.

The caretaker's eyes were firm, she didn't care about herself as she seemed to understand the situation.

She would die, but even so, she pushed two teenage children towards Juny.

It happened too fast. Too fast for the teenagers to resist.

Juny's heart immediately throbbed as she grabbed the kids and jumped down.

She then saw it.

A fiery wave came bursting into the room.

The explosion happened.

Whilst in midair, Juny threw the two teenagers downward and towards the other children.

Thinking at a great speed, she flipped and landed right in front of the kids.

She saw the entire building arch outward.

Juny bit her lip with great strength, but she didn't hesitate.

She outstretched her arms forward and used Space Solidification.

She created a thick transparent wall. The wall was made out of stunning Violet-Black flame.

The crimson wave broke through the building and hit the galaxy-styled wall.

It's necessary to point out that, Space Solidification is mainly supposed to create weapons and not be used as a shield.

In all the books she read across the last three months before this incident, she learned that, although the wall would be very sturdy, there would be a great backlash.

Just like with a weapon, she felt the impact in her hands.

Her bones creaked and she saw her skin rip at the pressure.

The wave lasted multiple seconds, completely crushing her hands.

Her lips were bleeding and her eyes were flooded with pain-filled tears.

Her arms dropped and she opened her Pocket Dimension. With the use of Space Manipulation, she took out multiple pieces of paper.

They all had the same symbol in Runic Language: Recovery.

Turning around, Juny infused one paper with spirituality and, using Space Manipulation, placed it on her left hand.

The symbol glowed and dissolved, fusing with her destroyed hand.

Holding back her pain, she walked over to the two oldest kids in the group.

...

Dager watched as his home went up with flames, he watched his mother get swallowed by a merciless blaze and he watched the wave of fire coming for him.

But it didn't reach him.

A wall, very small wall, appeared before him.

The wall seemed illusionary. It was made out of purple flames that seemed to nest the galaxies, yet it was also clear and transparent.

His whole body was in extreme pain, but he didn't perish.

His eyes were overflowing with water, only for it to evaporate the next second.

He watched the raging flames try to force themselves through the wall.

But the small purple wall didn't waver. Neither did it crack.

It didn't even flinch.

His eyes traced the beautiful wall and he saw a small figure.

Dager could not see her features, but he saw how small she was.

He couldn't even be sure if he saw the correct hair-color, but he could distinguish her height.

She couldn't be over 10 years old, yet she held the overwhelming disaster back.

He fell into a daze.

Only when he saw the wave calm down and recede.

Only when the girl turned around with multiple papers in hand the did he snap out of it.

He finally saw the little girl clearly.

Her eyes were filled with blood vessels and her lips bled in bright crimson.

He saw the girl's hands. The skin was purple and filled with torn up and burned skin.

A small fractures of white bones were sticking out of them.

His hands throbbed in pain by purely seeing this scene.

One of the papers in the girls hand flew up by itself before shining in red and sticking itself onto her hand.

Immediately, her wounds started recovering at quite the rapid rate.

Dager couldn't believe his eyes. He stared numbly as the girl stopped in front of him and his sister.

Her lips parted before slowly closing.

"Why are you crying?"

It was a terrifyingly staid voice, her tear-filled eyes were frighteningly calm.

Dager didn't understand the girl's question. His ears were still buzzing, but he spoke.

Normally, he would ignore the girl, or even scream at her for asking something like that.

But he saw what the girl's just done.

He remembered how she had thrown herself into a blazing building to carry the children down into safety.

She was the one who shielded them from the explosion.

She was the one who suffered in order to protect their lives.

And so he spoke, his voice filled with agony.

"M-my home was destroyed, my mom was killed a-and.."

He stumbled over his words but the small girl before him didn't intervene.

The papers in her hand moved by themselves and glowed with dark-red light.

Only two papers were left in her hand.

He saw the papers landing on his burned friends.

Many of them have already broke down in tears or fainted.

Their burns began to recover.

Dager bit his tongue and cast his attention to his sister.

His sister's beautiful face was stained with blood and tears, but she hasn't broken down.

She was obviously in pain, but her eyes were glaring.

She wore a rage-filled expression.

He now knew that his sister felt the same.

He finally looked back at the small girl in front of him.

She was looking down at the sitting him, but she wasn't looking down on him.

"And I couldn't do anything about it."

As he said that, the girl's features changes slightly.

He saw her slowly close her eyes before asking him a question.

A question he anticipated.

"What do you want to do?"

She didn't ask him if he wanted revenge.

She didn't ask him if he wanted strength.

She asked what he wanted to do.

Before he could open his mouth, a raspy voice came from next to him.

"Revenge! I want revenge!"

Dager didn't turn, but the girl did.

The girl's eyes changed, they turned deep.

Like a still lake with no life. A lake that housed a leviathan.

"Do you think you can get it? Revenge?"

This time, it was Dager that spoke.

"Can we?"

He didn't force it. He knew that the explosion just now wasn't normal, he knew the flames acted as if they had a mind of their own.

The girl looked at him.

One of the papers in her hand glowed crimson as she handed it to him.

"Not in your current state."

The boy grabbed the paper.

Just as he did, the glowing ceased and crimson particles merged with his body.

He felt his pain slowly go away, his head turning clear.

Before he could answer, the girl stepped closer to his sister, the last paper glowed.

As his sister grabbed it, her woulds immediately started recovering.

"Let me ask you again."

With a completely clear mind, Dager heard the girl's calm voice.

But her eyes were no longer calm.

He could see suppressed hatred hidden deep within.

"What do you want to do?"

He immediately realized why she repeated herself.

The girl wanted to be sure they would have a clear head when answering.

She first let them spill out their emotions while in pain.

And then she got rid of the pain.

Leaving their judgement unaffected.

He didn't speak, he waited as his sister wiped her tears.

"Revenge. I want revenge."

She repeated her exact words, but in a calm manner.

The girl looked at him, and so he asked.

"...Can we?"

The boy saw her eyes glaze over.

Her torn lips moved again.

"What are your names?"

It was a question he didn't expect, but he didn't hesitate.

"Dager."

"Ellone."

She looked at the two siblings and nodded.

"I'm Juny."

She looked around and soon pulled a paper out of her coat.

It was similar to the papers from before, but the strange symbol on it was different.

It glowed again, but didn't dissipate.

"Touch it, I'll find you in two days, think it over again and don't mention me to anyone that asks."

Her voice was firm.

Firmer than any child her age should have.

Dager reached out, touching the paper.

Red particles merged with his hand, but he didn't feel anything.

Ellone did the same.

The girl nodded and turned away from them.

Dager saw her leap forward with speed that was way too fast to be a human's.

...

Juny found the teenagers two days later.

They didn't enter another orphanage.

They had the chance to, but they chose otherwise.

Juny brought the two to an abandoned building close to the city.

It was the place she chose to stay in.

It was a closed space and she has long cleaned it, making it presentable.

She sat the two siblings down.

The older one, Dager, was 16 years old.

His sister, Ellone, was 15.

Juny explained everything about Beyonders, as well as the extreme dangers and informed them about sequences.

She mentioned the Sequences of the gang members as well as the fact that they have a powerful backer who ordered the destruction of the orphanage.

She didn't hide anything. She even told the two about the acting method that would lessen the danger.

The two siblings listened and sometimes asked questions.

At the end of the explanation, Juny asked again.

"What do you want to do?"

The two siblings looked at each other.

They both nodded lightly.

Ellone spoke out first.

"We want revenge. If not on the gang's backer, then at least on the gang leader."

Juny sighed before looking up at the ceiling.

"Even though you know the dangers?"

Dager spoke with decisive voice.

"Yes!"

Upon hearing that, Juny's mouth twitched up into a humorous smile.

"Even though your informant is a 9 year old?"

Dager flinched at the self-deprecating expression on the girl's face.

The question made him pause, but not his sister.

"Yes!"

The girl noticeably jumped.

Juny looked at Ellone with a perplexed expression.

"You do?"

Ellone didn't miss a beat.

"Yes!"

Juny frowned.

"You shouldn't! what if I'm making it up?"

Juny reasoned, but Ellone wasn't one to lose. Especially when logic was off the table.

"I saw you jump multiple meters into the air and stop a red wave of fire with a purple wall of fire."

"Either you're magical or I'm dead. And in either case, I have nothing to lose."

Juny slowly hummed at Ellone's argument.

It was a dumb one, but so was her question, so the dumber beats the dumb.

She gently tapped her finger on the table before nodding.

"Alright, let me tell you the 22 standard pathways. I have the main and supplementary ingredients as well as the potion formulas for all of the sequence 9s and 8s."

What she just said was the truth but not a whole one.

Juny also couldn't believe her eyes when she searched through the storage.

The Dimensional Space had potion formulas of all Standard Pathways up to Sequence 5, some formulas were even of the High-Sequences.
