Villain's Valor: A Noble Fantasy Resurrection

Chapter 174 Titan of death

Adelaide was the first to perceive Anthony's presence. She opened her beautiful green eyes and met Anthony's smile, who held a ring in his hands. Noticing another ring on Anthony's finger, Adelaide furrowed her brow with curiosity. "Where did you go?" she asked after a moment of hesitation.

Eleanor also opened her eyes upon hearing her friend's voice and observed the other ring with surprise. Anthony lightly, with irritation. "During my exploration, I encountered another group. They were very kind to give me their points," he responded before putting the ring on another finger.

The two girls rolled their eyes at Anthony's evident sarcasm, but he simply listened and continued: "Are you both alright?"

They both nodded, and Anthony approached them. His aura began to surround them, black flames adhering to their skin, forming a sort of protection around them.

The two girls watched in amazement as Anthony approached cautiously. "If you allow me," he said seriously. They watched him for a few seconds before nodding slowly. Anthony slowly moved his hands, placing them on the girls' shoulders. They felt a slight shiver as his aura enveloped them. Closing his eyes, Anthony let his aura spread throughout the cave, exploring every corner.

After a few minutes, the three of them disappeared and reappeared in front of the door. Anthony removed his hands from the girls' shoulders, and his aura dissipated. The two women looked around with curiosity before focusing on the huge door in front of them.

"I can't sense anything beyond the door," said Adelaide as her green mana withdrew from the door. Eleanor pursed her lips, expressing her agreement with her friend's statement. Anthony sensed the uncertainty in the air. He knew the door would open smoothly if he pushed it with force, but he didn't know what lay beyond it.

There was the possibility it could be a trap, but also the possibility that it wasn't.

"Then I'll open the door," announced Anthony determinedly, "if there truly is a titan behind that door, I will take the lead and take the hits directly. Eleanor, you'll be in charge of inflicting injuries, and Adelaide, you'll stay in the rear. Are you both in agreement?"

The two girls exchanged glances, evaluating Anthony's proposal. After a few moments of reflection, they nodded in consent. Anthony headed towards the door and placed his hands on it, applying force. To his surprise, the doors opened immediately. He quickly stepped back and stared at what lay beyond.

It was completely different from what he expected. Beyond the door stretched a vast space, filled with trees and flowers. It seemed to be a small ecosystem, with a beautiful waterfall flowing gently. However, what caught the attention of the three were the remains of a corpse. The skeleton, still in its armor, was covered in moss, and a sword pierced its skull, with empty eye sockets staring upwards.

The small ecosystem was shrouded in a soft mist, with the ground covered in moss. The three were shocked by the scene before them. They weren't sure what to do, but in the midst of the landscape, they began to hear footsteps. Anthony quickly turned to look in the direction of the sound and saw an imposing figure about 7 meters tall.

The figure wore a completely worn-out cloak wrapped around its body, and it slowly dragged a huge sword that tore through the moss on the ground. Its right hand, of a black color, was adorned with golden bracelets. It walked aimlessly, with an intimidating presence that filled the atmosphere with tension. The three watched in silence for a few seconds.

"There's the titan," declared Anthony, feeling relieved to confirm that it wasn't a trap. It was a Base-Titan rank titan, which gave them an opportunity to defeat it. He reflected for a few seconds before pulling out some pieces of meat and handing them to the girls. Grateful, they began to eat as they watched the titan, who continued its march without a clear direction. Your next chapter is on My Virtual Library Empire

Anthony took out his sword from the ring, as well as Eleonor and Adelaide's weapons. "Let's go," he said, urging his companions. "We'll follow the same protocol: I'll be in front, Eleonor, you'll be responsible for dealing damage, and Adelaide, from the back, you'll wear him down with your acid. Understand?" The two girls nodded seriously, ready to face the colossus.

Anthony nodded, satisfied that they were ready for battle.

As they passed through the door, the three felt a strange sensation, as if they were passing through a thin layer of water. Once inside, the doors disappeared behind them with a dull thud. Anthony kept his gaze fixed on the titan, and finally, it showed its face: a skull with no trace of light in its empty eyes. Its steps halted, and it stared intently at them.

Suddenly, it began to approach them rapidly.

Without wasting time, Anthony prepared for the confrontation, holding his sword firmly while his companions took their positions. The titan kept moving, but its figure disappeared in an instant. Anthony felt a chill run down his spine as he shouted, "Disperse!" In the next moment, a giant sword appeared right before his eyes. Anthony reacted in milliseconds, activating his aura.

Flames as dark as the night sprouted from his body, and his sword quickly turned black. Anthony's red eyes met the titan's empty sockets as they prepared for the inevitable confrontation.

BOOMMMM!!!! AUGE!!!!!!

The ground cracked and sank, a deafening noise shattered the calm of the place, pieces of rocks or earth flew, a cloud of smoke rose where Anthony had been, Adelaide's eyes filled with fear, if it weren't for Anthony's warning, both girls would have been crushed, Eleonor was also breaking a cold sweat.

CLANK!!!!! CLINK!!!

Sparks flew amidst the dust cloud, a huge figure could be seen within the chaos, a black aura emerged from the cloud, enveloping it completely, Anthony had a cold look in his eyes, the titan moved very quickly, even disappearing from sight at times. Anthony covered his body, and his white hair turned black, just like his eyes.

He glanced sideways at his stunned companions: "What do you think you're doing! React, for God's sake!" Anthony couldn't believe the girls were freezing in fear.
