Chapter 576: Return To Business
"Leiji, sometimes it's best not to say such things so easily. Now I'm going to be busy…" Yang Kai sighed, seeing the reaction his wives began to wear their anticipation faces.
"Father, there really isn't any need to worry. Just come up with an excuse if you really want to." I chuckled. "All of my mothers will understand your wishes. That's a promise after having the experience I had just recently." I continued chuckling. "But, you'll have to show that you really don't want to have more… And you're bad at hiding that feeling from them." I finished with a smirk.
Yang Kai grumbled for a moment and then reluctantly nodded. "Fine then." He said, turning to his gaggle of wives. "But this is the last time. Afterwards, I must focus on my cultivation." He said, demanding agreement.
"That's not fair, Husband!!!" Yu Ru Meng complained, as she ran up and locked her arms and legs around Yang Kai. "I'm not agreeing to that unless you agree to something too." She grumbled.
"What do you want me to agree to then?" Yang Kai smirked.
"You have to promise, we will continue for as long as we want to. I for one want more children." Yu Ru Meng said, tightening her grip on Yang Kai. "Of course, we will agree to allow you a break so you can cultivate. But you will not stop us from having more children. We can't help but want more." She added, damn near about to cry.
"Husband." Su Yan spoke up. "I agree that we should focus on cultivating for some time. However, I've demanded of our son to refrain from having his own. He's been living vicariously through us. And helped out a great deal in his little siblings' growth. If we were to never have another child again… It really would be too much for us to continue with the original plan…" She elaborated.
My wives' faces lit up with a hopeful glee. There was also a deep sadness that came with it. They knew that none of them were strong enough to survive the pregnancy at present. It was like a visceral reaction, their bodies knew they couldn't handle it.
Yang Kai looked over at his daughter in-laws, and frowned slightly… "I see, it would really be too unfair. I'll agree to this. But all of you have to help those daughter in-laws of ours… Make them grow into powerful women capable of realizing their goal." He said, with a straight face. "You'll have plenty of time while you're pregnant to give advice." He added with a final relented sigh.
"Ahahaha! Void you've got it rough there don't you." Iron Blood laughed, stretching as he stood up. He noticed there was no longer a reason he needed to be here. "Well, I'm off as well. I've got some things to do…"
"I have to leave as well, good luck father." I said, with a respectful bow before vanishing like I had never been there in the first place.
"You know, I still can't figure out how he does that. It's not simple teleportation… It's something else. Almost like he is everywhere and nowhere." Li Wu Yi murmured.
"Don't worry, you're not the only one who doesn't understand it." Yang Kai chuckled. "I can mimic it to a degree, but he… He can do far more than I can."

I appeared and sat upon the master's throne. There were few times I had done this in the past. And all of them were indicative that until something changed, I was in charge. I hate this spot. But fortunately I don't have to worry about cultivating on my own now. Soon my cultivation will reach the limit of what my 8th rank status can handle.
A few masters came before me, their disciples behind them. The customs and courtesies they displayed held no issue with the fact I was the one taking care of the Palace's matters. However, one of these masters had been practicing their speech and was nervous about messing it up…
"Alright, that's enough of those annoying trivialities." I said with a simple motion of my wrist. "What is it you need, that you'd seek an audience with the master?"
The sheer presence of my being was enough to shatter their ideas of strength. "So powerful… Achem, apologies Palace Master…" One of the Masters said, clearing their throat.
I glared daggers at the man. Focusing my aura to induce a high pressure on him, and him alone. "Care to correct yourself? Or shall I do it?"
"Uh, apologies Young Master. I did not mean any disrespect." The now trembling master stammered.
"Good, as long as my father has not abdicated the title to me, I will not be called by that title. Consider this the last warning." I said, relaxing my aura.
"Yes, Young Master!" All of the Masters and disciples before me bowed deeper and apologized.
"Good, now get on with it. I have war plans to discuss with our allies." I said, my mood slightly soured. What I'd give to transform again… Being referred to as Big Sister is less offensive than that nonsense.
"Yes, Young Master. We came before you to ask for some assistance. We'd all like to build a new city. One under the banner of our home land, High Heaven Palace. To this end, we'd like to ask for help in its construction." One of the masters said, having a difficult time managing his own mental state after witnessing the tiniest portion of power.
"I see, that's indeed a noble cause. And the cities we currently have in the star boundary, we are soon going to run out of space… A side effect of the medicine I created. A welcome one indeed." I said, holding my hand to my chin in thought. I looked around at the disciples taking note of their strengths and ages… "Interesting… It seems like you were prepared to try that method, in the event I didn't agree… Well then, I'm just going to agree. You'll be given 250 million source crystals as investment. Use that to begin construction. You'll be given plans I have designed as well. It should prove most useful." I smirked, and snapped my fingers.
One of the manager's aides immediately left and came back with the rings containing the funds. I inspected each one and placed a scroll into each. Then the aide sent a ring flying to each of the several dozen masters.
