Why And How Am I In Ninjago!? | Lloyd x OC

I decided to put the last two together, otherwise this one would be a short chapter.

Never make Nova jealous.

"Which way is the Throne Room?" Lloyd asked.

"To the left, but we can't go there yet. There's something we have to take care of first." They turn back at a sound. "Hide!" As four Blizzard Warriors walk into view, the Resistance seeks shelter above them. Kataru accidentally nudges snow, and it falls to the ground. The Warriors jump at the sound and look around, but they see no one, so they head on. The Resistance jumps down silently behind them.

Akita hears the Warriors coming and proceeds to hide.

"Vex has a corrupted shard of ice. It is all-seeing. So long as he possesses that, there is no hope of victory. We must destroy it first." said Grimfax.

"Normally, I steal stuff, but breaking stuff I can also do. Just take me to a kitchen with it and all is done." said Nova.

"No. If you take it to a kitchen, the whole place will hear the explosion." said Lloyd.

"Fine. Ruin my fun, why don't ya." Nova crossed her arms.

Lloyd rolled his eyes before turning his attention back to Grimfax. "How do you know he isn't watching us right now?"

"If he were, we would already be caught." said Grimfax.

"We better hurry then." said Kataru.

"Which way?" Lloyd asked, to which Grimfax points and they head off. Meanwhile, Akita passes by and does not notice them run off.

Nova hummed softly as she was thinking about something, which caught Lloyd's attention as he never liked when she had something in mind, as it would either be her wanting to steal something or cause trouble.

"Ocea, whatever you are thinking about, drop it." said Lloyd.

"What? I'm not thinking about anything." said Nova.

Lloyd glanced at her with a raised eyebrow. "Nova. We don't have time for you stealing anything or causing chaos right now."

Now Nova was the one to raise an eyebrow as she looked over at him. "What? No, that's not what I'm thinking about."

"Then what is it, whenever you think about something. It's rarely ever good." said Lloyd.

"Jeez, Lloyd relax. I was just thinking Kataru looked kind of cute, now that I got a better look at him. Nothing else." said Nova, as to make him stop giving her that serious look.

"What?" said Lloyd, now looking between Nova and Kataru while they were running. Before sending a glare towards Kataru, but didn't say anything about it.

"We are gonna fall behind, if you keep asking me questions." said Nova as they quickly cut up since they had slowed down a bit for them to talk without the other two listening in.

"Fine, but you are sticking close to me." said Lloyd.

"I was going to, even if you didn't tell me, silly." said Nova.

*A few minutes later of sneaking around.*

"You're sure he's not watching us?" Lloyd asked.

"Like I said, if he were watching the Crystal, we wouldn't have gotten this far." They turn a corner and gasp when they run into Vex and the Blizzard Samurai.

"You were saying?" Vex laughs evilly, and the Samurai grin in response. Kataru immediately transforms into his bear form and Grimfax whips out his ice axe from behind.

"Yeah, actually, to your mother's house." said Nova, only to get elbowed in the arm by Lloyd. "Not the time, Nova."

"Run!" shouted Grimfax.

"We have to stay together and—" said Lloyd.

"No! You two must awaken your friend or all is lost! We will hold them back as long as we can! Grimfax pushes Lloyd and Nova. "Go! Rrgh!" They charge and start distracting the army. Lloyd and Nova turn and runs to the Throne Room.

"Hey, Lloyd, wanna go for a swing?" Nova asked, as she had an idea in mind.

"What? Nova, now isn't the time to be funny!" said Lloyd while they were running.

Nova rolled her eyes. "I can get us there faster, idiot." said Nova as she had her gauntlets switch to the grappling hook mode.

Lloyd raised an eyebrow at her until he finally caught on to her idea. "Okay, I see where you're going at."

Nova smiled at him. "Hold on, greenie! And don't let go!" She aimed her grappling hooks to the ceiling, and shot them as, Lloyd wrapped an arm around her. Right after, she used her speed boost ability. Giving them a quick leap into the air and Nova went on to swing like spider-man.

Lloyd and Nova were cheering as they swung around at full speed towards the Throne Room. "How can you handle this speed!" shouted Lloyd.

"You get used to it! After a lot of practice!" shouted Nova as she was laughing through it all. Until they turned the corner and saw four Blizzard Warriors. "Looks like our ride ends here, hot shot!"

"Looks like it, beautiful!" shouted Lloyd as they throw on their hoods. Before jumping down at the Blizzard Warriors.

Lloyd shoots out an energy ball at one of the Warriors and Nova Spinjitzu at the rest of them as they land. But four more appear behind them, so Lloyd and Nova prepares to take them down.

"Ready for round two?" Nova had a smirk on her face under her mask, as she saw two of the warriors coming at her. Switching her gauntlets into their blade mode, she went on to cut down their spears and then backing it up with using spinjitzu on them. Easily taking them down before looking over at Lloyd who had also just taken down the other two.

"Huh, would you look at that. Looks like we might not be that bad of a team." said Nova as she had her gauntlets switch back to normal mode.

"I'll say, we make a great team when we put our minds to it." said Lloyd, giving her a high-five.

Nova gave a smile before turning her attention to the door. "Time to save a friend."

Lloyd nods as they burst in and kicks open the doors.

"It's time we finished this, Zane!" said Lloyd.

"Zane?" said Akita, confused as she saw Lloyd and Nova.

"Hmm."

Lloyd prepares his Energy. "Once... and for all."

Nova narrowed her eyes as she switched her gauntlets back to their blade mode. "I don't wanna hurt you, Zane. But I will if I have to, if that is the only way to get our friend back."

"My name is not Zane!" shouted the Ice Emperor.

"Yes, it is!" Lloyd throws off his hood. " And you're going to remember it, if we have to knock it into your thick Nindroid skull!"

"You... know the Emperor!" said Akita, shocked.

"He's not an Emperor. He's our friend. He's the one we're here to rescue. It's hard to explain, but we can't let you hurt him, Akita." said Lloyd.

Akita growls, and her anger helps break her hand free from the corrupted Ice. "My will is not yours to command!"

Lloyd is about to move in to stop her, but Nova was already a step ahead of him. As she grabs Akita's arms. "Akita, no! This isn't the way! You're letting your anger control you! And that's coming from me, who has a lot of anger issues." Nova took a quick glance at Lloyd, daring him to say anything.

"Stand aside, Nova. Or fall with him!" said Akita.

"Eh, I've had worse threats. I'll take my chances." said Nova.

Lloyd runs over to help Nova, keep Akita from attacking Zane. "We won't let you hurt Zane! He's our—Gah!" The Emperor smacks his staff against the three of them.

"There is no Zane!" The Ice Emperor knocks Akita and Nova down and blasts his Ice at them.

"Fuck this!" shouted Nova as she tried using the shadows, but it didn't help as she felt the pain shot through her heart.

"No!" Lloyd does Spinjitzu, blocking the Ice before it can hit them.

"Lloyd!" Nova couldn't help getting a little worried as he had to protect two people instead of one.

Lloyd leaps away from Zane. Zane blasts his ice at him and Lloyd blocks it with his Energy, then throws it off. Akita and Nova watches as Lloyd dodges Zane's blasts.

Nova growled as she looked down at her hands, hating that she couldn't do anything. "It's just like back on the Dark Island the first time, I became nothing else. But a shadow like form that couldn't talk or do much to help, and the thanks I got was a stab in the back."

Lloyd races around a corner and Zane pursues him. Lloyd ducks as Zane blasts ice at him and runs up a pillar, returning the ice, followed by his blows of Energy at him. "Wake up, Zane!" Zane knocks him to the ground, grabs his feet, and whips him around.

The Ice Emperor blasts his ice at Lloyd and covers his whole body, except for his head. "Yarh!" He laughs evilly.

"I hate this so much!" Nova narrowed her eyes as her left eye started changing to gold and her body began getting a few golden scales, along with a few parts of her brown hair turning golden. "I will not rely on the Overlord's power to keep me stable. While I might regret this later, that will be future me's problem to handle."

Nova took a deep breath and used her elemental powers to go into the shadows without the others noticing.

"Lloyd!" Akita throws her dagger at Zane, but he ducks, and it sails past him. Zane blasts his ice at Akita, covering her. "AHHH—"

"No! Akita. Zane. Please." said Lloyd.

"I told you. There is no Zane!" shouted the Ice Emperor.

"Do it, Master. Finish it!" said Vex.

"Zane." said Lloyd, causing Zane to pause and shakes his head in confusion.

"I'll do it." Vex grabs one of the Blizzard Warrior's spears and walks toward Lloyd, gloating. "Hmm, hmm. Some savior you turned out to be. You couldn't defeat the Emperor. You couldn't protect your friends."

"Protect"?" The Ice Emperor questioned in confusion.

"You couldn't even prote—" Vex went on before being cut off

"Snap out of it already! You tin can of a Nindroid! Zane!" shouted Nova, jumping out of the shadows and punched Zane right in the head. Catching everyone by surprise. "You protect those, who can't protect themselves, you idiot." She sighs as her appearance had returned back to normal.

The Ice Emperor was taken aback when Nova had come out of nowhere and punched him. But what she said next had him freeze in place.

"Protect those who cannot protect themselves." Memories start rushing in, backtracking all the way to when he and Pixal took their picture under a tree. He gasps. Vex prepares to kill Lloyd, but Zane knocks his spear away while Nova got in front of Lloyd, growling.

"Vex!" Zane rips off his mask, revealing his true voice. "Don't!" Zane knocks Vex back and looks at his scepter. He leaps up and smashes it to pieces. "Hoi-yah!" The curse of the Scroll lifts from the Never-Realm. All the Ice Fishers and the Formlings are freed from the ice. The Castle returns to normal and ice disappears off Akita, who collapses.

Zane throws off his helmet and runs up to Lloyd, who was leaning against Nova while having an arm over her shoulders. "Lloyd!"

"I knew you'd remember. I knew it!" said Lloyd.

"We both did, and sorry for punching you." said Nova, smiling at him.

"Thank you, Lloyd and Nova." said Zane with a smile. "Where are the others?"

Vex growls and charges at Zane with his spear. "Roar-rgh!" Zane sees Vex and freezes him.

Zane turned to look over at Nova, giving her a smile. "I forgive you, I know you were trying to help. Which it did."

Akita picks herself up to see Kataru, the rest of the ninja, Krag, and Grimfax charge in. "Kataru!"

Kataru swings her up, hugging her. "Akita!"

"Zane!" shouted Nya.

"Lloyd! Nova!" The ninja run up to Lloyd, Nova and Zane and hug them. Krag happily watches them.

Akita narrates. "So ended, the reign of the Ice Emperor. I was reunited with my brother, Kataru." Akita and Kataru run after each other in their animal forms. "And the King was restored to his throne."

"Yeah!" The Warriors cheered.

Akita narrates. "His people and my people were released from their curse." Akita, Kataru, and two Warriors see to Vex's banishment. "Vex the Formless was banished from our lands." Vex turns around, furious, and runs off. "And peace returned to the Never-Realm." The Great Lake is seen at peace. "After many days, the time at last came when the ninja hoped to return to their own realm." The ninja and Krag walk into Sorla's home where she inspects the Traveler's Tree's flowers. "But this, was not so simple."

Sorla shakes her head sadly. "I have consulted the spirits of the Hearth Fire and I have learned of this Ninjago. It is far from here. The leaves of the Traveler's Tree will not have the strength to bear you home."

"But I-I can get more!" Cole Elbows Krag. "Right, Krag?" Krag nods excitedly. "You can help me up back the mountain and-and we can—"

"It is no use. No amount of leaves will suffice. If we only had something more portent." said Sorla.

Cole thinks and remembers the berry he pretended to eat. The ninja watched him search himself. "Sorla, what about this?" He opens his hand and reveals the berry. Sorla smiles.

"Haha! Yeah!" The ninja cheered.

"We can finally get home." said Nova smiling happy.

"Yeah, what a relief." said Lloyd, pulling her close.

"Looks like sending those two out together to save, Zane, fixed their problem." said Kai.

"What a relief, we might finally get some peace." said Jay.

"Until they start fighting again, like normal." said Zane.

The ninja laughs while Lloyd and Nova looked on in confusion about what was so funny.

*Back at the Monastery of Spinjitzu, Wu sadly looks at a new picture of all the ninja and Pixal, he took in front of the Monastery.*

"Master Wu, come quickly!" Pixal leaves.

Wu drops the picture and races after Pixal. "What is it?" He arrives to see a pink, berry-shaped portal open up and the outlines of the ninja come through. "It's them! They're back!" He and Pixal hug each of the ninja. "Nya! Kai! Zane!"

"Master Wu! It is good to see you!" said Zane.

Wu wipes his eyes. "You too, Zane! You too!"

Pixal runs up and jumps on Zane. "Zane!"

"Whoa-ah!" Zane laughs.

"Welcome home, all of you." said Wu.

"Where are Cole, Nova and Lloyd?" Zane turns back to the portal, and she does the same.

*On the other side of the portal, Lloyd, Nova and Cole say goodbye to their friends they grew so close with.*

"Well, so long, buddy." Krag whimpers, begging for another hug. "Alright, bring it, buddy. Give Cole a hug." Krag picks him up happily and squeezes him. "Whoa! Okay, okay. Take it easy!" Krag puts Cole down nicely, and he walks to the portal. He waves goodbye and Sorla goes up to comfort Krag. Cole waves his final goodbye and walks through the portal.

"Well, it was fun getting to know you all. And happy that we could help fix the whole Vex, and Ice Emperor problem." said Nova, giving Akita a hug before walking over to the portal but waited for Lloyd to come.

Lloyd scratches his head. "Well, I guess this is—" Akita leans over and kisses Lloyd on the cheek. Akita smiles and Lloyd blinks several times, unsure what just happened. Akita sent a smirk over at Nova, as payback for making her listen to Lloyd's whole life story.

Nova let out a growl as she glared at Akita, before then over at Lloyd. "He is getting the fucking chicken!" She turned around and jumped through the portal.

"Lloyd, you must hurry. The portal is closing." said Sorla, causing Lloyd to turn and see the portal grow smaller. On the other side, the ninja, Wu, and Pixal wait anxiously.

"Take care of yourself." said Lloyd before jumping through the portal.

When Lloyd got through, he was pulled into a hug by everyone. "Wait, where is Nova?"

The sound of a chicken could be heard behind them, they turned around to see a very pissed off Nova, holding a lightning chicken. "Get him."

Lloyd's eyes widened in horror. "N-Nova, wait a second!" He shouted, but it landed on deaf ears, as the last thing that was heard. Was the sound of a chicken and a scream, as he was attacked by the lightning chicken while Nova watched.
